Former Minister accuses Sri Sathya Sai trust members for the death of Sathya Sai Baba

A former student and non-follower of Sai Baba at the Sathya Sai College has kindly translated the Telugu news item I mentioned yesterday. G. Nagi Reddy of the Telugu Desam Party was a Minister for Andhra Pradesh, elected in1985 and lastly in 1989.
Former minister G Nagi Reddy alleged that trust members are responsible for the death of Puttaparthi Sai Baba. By subjecting him to mental torture, the trust members caused his death he alleged. He said it is the responsibility of trust members to dispel the doubts surrounding Sai Baba’s death. He claimed to have been informed by a few trust members that around the time he was being transferred to the super specialty hospital on March 28th, a tearful Baba had begged devotees to save him.
Mr Nagi Reddy alleged that before admitting Baba to the hospital, trust members subjected him to cruelty by not feeding him properly. He said that under the freedom of information act he had filed a request to the trust to provide him details about Sai Baba’s hospital admission register, case sheet, and details of treatment administered to him. He said that he would go to court if the information was not provided to him. (The original Telugu text was posted at http://thatstelugu.oneindia.in/grapevine/2011/nagi-reddy-accuses-sri-sathya-sai-trust-210511-aid0070.html)
There is all reason for this allegation, as anyone who followed the news reports that were (and still are) found on this blog – as widely disseminated in the Indian press – will know to be substantial. One has to say that Sathya Sai Baba – whatever his earlier crimes – did not deserve the reported ill-treatment he received. It is horrible that any person should be denied what all are entitled to when seriously ill or dying. To take an example, the Central Trust was seriously discussing at one stage to bury Sathya Sai Baba alive! Yes, all foreigners – and surely the great majority of Indians too – would be appalled at this, whether it has ever had any precedent in Indian convoluted and mythologized ‘spiritual’ history or not. What they eventually decided is in the greatest doubt as they practice the silence of the grave about all that happened during SB’s confinement, loss of organ functions, loss of consciousness and loss of life. The unaccountable totally non-transparent Trust is surely among the most untrustworthy institutions in India, and that is saying a very great deal!
The demise of Sathya Sai Baba explodes myth of invulnerability According to diverse reports from devotees and more independent sources, Sai Baba became the helpless victim of manipulators on the Sathya Sai Central Trust – and presumably also his chosen minder, his ‘boyfriend’ Sathyajit (who it was widely claimed had virtually drugged him down for months with sleeping pills and stimulants respectively). He had himself chosen the very Trust members who contravened his will when he became incapacitated! The non-indoctrinated world and history would never accept that anyone possessing any measure of common sense and honesty still hold that Sai Baba was the omnipotent and omniscient being he always loudly claimed he was, as in the following documented statements:-
|“My power is immeasurable; My truth inexplicable, unfathomable” (Sathya Sai Baba Discourse 19-6-1974. p. 227 Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. 12)”There is no one who can change My course or affect My conduct to the slightest extent. I am the Master over all” (Discourse (28 September 1960). Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. I, p. 182)”I know all that happens to all because I am everyone. This current is in every bulb I illumine every consciousness. I am the inner motivator in each one of you” (Speech at Patel Stadium in Bombay – reported in Sathyam, Sivam, Sundaram by N. Kasturi. Part 3. Page 305 US ed.)”Be assured that the Lord has come to save world from calamity” (Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. 2, p. 17 – March 1961)
