Sai Baba as ‘Man in the moon’ with bogus miracles
Posted by robertpriddy on November 12, 2011
Few incidents are more telling against Sathya Sai Baba and his devotees than the “darshan on the moon” incident, which received enormous coverage, both in the naive Indian press and the yet more naive websites which promote Sathya Sai Baba at all costs, always without a single breath of questioning or critical thinking and never a link to any dissident articles, websites or blogs. At the funeral the moon was visible and this was considered a miracle, not only by devotees but by some Indian media, because it was still daytime! This shows a depth of ignorance of simple facts that beggars belief (literally!). The fact is that the moon is often visible in the daylight hours, especially noticeable when it is at or nearing full moon. I have often seen the moon in daytime myself.
