Bala Sai – new Sai Baba imitating actor

The number of gurus in India who are clearly imitating the logos, style, behaviour,  bhajan (women and men apart) and arathi sessions of Sathya Sai Baba (right down to the same hand movements) continues to surprise. Here is a particularly unimpressive young actor who portrays the young Sai Baba. His appearance is not very Indian, so his origins will be interesting (if ever known) At least he lacks the essential ‘Prema Sai’ look. He appears more like a painted doll than the person he would represent

When I posted this I thought he was pretending to be a guru, not knowing he was an actor. Fortunately one of those who follow this blogs set the record straight:- That kid isn’t an impostor, Robert. He’s just a child actor in one of those atrocious biographical movies eulogizing sathya sai. Who could make such a dreadful parody of a guru. Why did they have to “white-up” the actor? The Daily Beast article is yet another sound analysis and it is highly applicable in the case of Sathya Sai Baba, of course. Robert
