Bala Sai – new Sai Baba imitating impostor

The number of gurus in India who are clearly imitating the logos, style, behaviour, bhajan (women and men apart) and arathi sessions of Sathya Sai Baba (right down to the same hand movements) continues to surprise. Here is a particularly unimpressive young “guru”, so far with straw huts but no doubt an aspirant to name, fame, wealth and all the rest that comes with it. His appearance is not very Indian, so his origins will be interesting (if ever known) At least he lacks the essential ‘Prema Sai’ look. He appears more like a painted doll than a natural person.

You’re welcome, Robert. You really didn’t have to include my comment on your main page, but thank you for being generous. Regarding the “white-up”, I remember reading somewhere that sathya sai had wanted someone who looked fair/handsome/beautiful/(caucasian?) to portray him in the movie. That must make him an insecure little man eh?
Anyway, as an Indian and an Atheist, I’m only doing what little I can to help you keep up this good fight against a holy criminal that most certainly deserves every bit of ridicule from the sane and rational among us. Keep up the great work, Robert. You are an inspiration to the rest of us.

Thanks for the information. I stand corrected, but in the mad world of Indian gurus one can be excused for believing him to be another claimant. Who could make such a dreadful parody of a guru. Why did they have to “white-up” the actor?
