Joe Moreno sees “Proxy Defenders” and “Proxy Defamers” In a show of twisted pseudo-logic, false assumptions and untrue claims, this full-time character assassinator tries to show that Barry Pittard can have no support from those we help defend concerning the sexual abuses by Sathya Sai Baba they have reported, and therefore we are “self-appointed proxy defenders” etc. That we have no support is Moreno’s baseless assumption. We have been defending the weak and defenseless subjects of the sexual abuses they have informed us about against vicious attacks on them in web pages and by a massive e-mail campaign to many of their contacts, friends and families by Moreno himself.

We actually have been asked and strongly supported in exposing these matters by a number of them and some of their families – apart for many other e-mails and comment writers on ExBaba.com, not least the Rahm family, Conny Larsson, Ullrich Zimmermann, to name but a few.  We do not release the countless e-mails and letters, or phone calls because we have most often been asked for and have guaranteed confidentiality. This is partly because many can put themselves at risk of serious consequences (i.e. those who live in or have to visit `India). Not only have Sai students been murdered in cold blood in Sai Baba’s bedroom while he stood by, but Moreno himself has exerted himself stupendously to libel, spread gossip and contradict without any evidence more than 30 alleging victims in web pages, blogs and postings on boards, portals and defamatory comments galore to articles all over the Internet… a despicable attempt to harm people we know to be genuine and truthful after years of contact with many of them. So much for “Sathya Sai Baba Life, Love & Spirituality” and Sai Baba’s “Help ever, harm never”, “Love all, Serve all”

See how Joe Moreno makes a great fuss about Pittard and I not having seen abuse by Sathya Sai Baba, and not having been present to any abuse. So what? Acts of which people are guilty are convicted by persons who were not witnesses, often only on forensic or circumstantial evidence. Sathya Sai Baba has been charged in the Supreme Court, but he is protected by the Government and judiciary and cannot be brought to book within India. Moreno seems to promote the almost pathological ‘solipsistic’ idea that not witnessing an event personally disqualifies one from evaluating it through the evidence and testimony, following this up through contacts and questioning and reporting about the results. Patently absurd!

Moreno slips up in saying we have NEVER (ever) been abused! We HAVE been abused – though not sexually – but by a despicable and far-reaching break of trust by Sathya Sai Baba. Many others have experienced this as abuse!  I have been wrongfully deceived on many counts – both by Sathya Sai Baba himself and his minions.  As to “psychologically unstable conspiracy theorists” Moreno supposes us to be (with no evidence because there is none, of course!)… well, that claim is surely what Moreno himself immaturely likes to characterise as “blathering” and “frothing at the mouth”.  Moreno charges Pittard and me as being “cult leaders” which is an acrobatic reversal of the truth, typical of virtually all Moreno’s more preposterous claims. It is the Sathya Sai Baba personality and religious cult that is the problem, not us! We were both once devoted workers for the Sathya Sai project, but we learned the truth about him. Joe Moreno claims he is not a follower and does not believe Sathya Sai Baba is an omniscient avatar etc. He long believed that SB is a sexual abuser… and I have indicated partly why. He is in deep psychological denial, as his thousands of web pages/blogs/comments and constant disruptive stalking activities of most Sai critics by him prove to the hilt.

Why this perpetual backward pseudo reasoning from Moreno? It is a case of total denial of a compulsive kind. Moreno has himself described how his pants were lowered by Sathya Sai Baba lowered  and he was ‘oiled’ on his “lower stomach”. Since this was not done by a doctor under consent, it was sexual interference without explanation (‘grooming’ or testing for an erection) which objectively amounts to himself having been molested sexually (according to Indian law). Moreno did not perceive it as such, but few who go into the private room behind closed doors believing Sathya Sai Baba to be a divinity seldom do. The attention he felt this amounted to gave him a great lift, and he has stated that no one before Sai Baba had taken any notice of him! Few tell openly what happened, and Sai Baba warns most not to tell. This prominent fact in Moreno’s story is one which we may be allowed to question further, as has Basava Premanand in confronting Moreno’s defamations.  One obviously asks “how low”? Embarrassment in telling the facts accurately can fairly be assumed. Why? A well-known British author – and Oxford graduate – wrote in a popular work on Indian spirituality etc. that Sathya Sai Baba rubbed oil on his chest – but he later actually admitted to me in an e-mail that it was actually on the perineum – that is, the spot between the gonads and the anus! I have so far spared him further embarrassment by not publishing his name and providing documentation (which I do have).
