Sathya Sai Organisation defended by proxy

Joe Moreno makes numerous false claims about ex-follower critics of Sathya Sai Baba under the wordpress.com title ‘Sathya Sai Baba – Love, Light and Spirituality’, which ‘spiritual’ blog he runs primarily so as to continue his libels and harassments of most critical former followers of Sathya Sai Baba. At last, after 4 years or so, I am currently replying to some of his constant attacks and baseless accusations. Here comes one out of a long series of similar examples of false, contrived pseudo-reasoning on the blog “By Proxy Defenders of Alleged….” etc.)

Plenty of parents have come forward against Sathya Sai Baba, and Moreno knows it so well! To name but a few: Sharon Purcell, Diana Scott, the parents of Alaya Rahm, Britt-Marie Anden (head of now disbanded Gothenberg Sai School, her two sons molested)…
Moreno goes to enormous lengths to “protect” and “defend” the Sathya Sai Organization in countless web postings while – in defending it himself in the above, he denies this!   The Sathya Sai Organization is an authoritarian cult – I know, because I eventually left it in relief after ensuring that I had investigated thoroughly and learned many true and wholly indefensible facts about its cover up Sai Baba’s sexual molestation (as even admitted by leaders who remain faithful to him!)  and the cold-blooded murders in which he was inextricable involved. All documentary link information is given at bottom of this page.

As to grievances, Moreno denies that there have been any legal grievances filed in India. Even that is false (see points 1) 2) and 3) below. By specifying India – where grievances of this kind could not get a hearing – he would distract all attention from the countless documented grievances, including  in letters sent to leaders of the Sathya Sai Organization (see links at foot of page). He can never throw journalists or researchers off the scent in this simplistic way. It is the same tactic many Sai organization leaders have used!

1) He knows that Hari Sampath  petitioned the Supreme Court of India, and that it was thrown out on a trumped-up legal technicality by judges who are Sathya Sai followers (see below).

2) Moreno also knows full well that there have been many grievances with a legal basis against Sathya Sai Baba, as is fully documented in the Indian Skeptic through the years, not least court petitions by Basava Premanand (i.e. the case where the judges claimed Sai Baba materialises gold from thin air and hence is not subject to the law under the Gold Control Act)

3) It is convenient for Moreno to ignore that the ex-follower from Germany, Jens Sethi, filed an affidavit against Sai Baba with the Hamburg police, as he knows too. Or that Alaya Rahm did in the USA, and his lawyer asked if the court would sue Sai Baba but the judge rejected that because this had to be done in India.

4) Moreno always deviously overlooks everything which is documented but is against his agenda of denial of everything against Sathya Sai Baba. He definitely knows that the CBI investigated the murders of 1993 due to complaints about the Puttaparthi police cover-up and sabotage to cover up for Sathya Sai Baba. He is also informed that this was quashed by the Home Minister S.B. Chavan’s intervention with the backing of the PM Narasimha Rao. Moreno tries to cover this severe corruption up and never in any way mentions the known  protection by the Indian government, judiciary and Prime Ministers and Presidents. He performs mental double backward somersaults to settle on most of his standpoints.

Intimidation and bribery by Sai officials have so far worked to quash almost every grievance concerning sexual abuses, financial scams, and to terrorise the parents of murdered sons (in Sai Baba’s bedroom at Prashanthi Nilayam ashram in 1993). Such was done against Dr. Naresh Bhatia, as reported by the Daily Telegraph, and also tried against Basava Premanand and Hari Sampath, who have both survived assassination attempts.   Officials even  removed some court registers  from the records (as in the case of the document removed by the Supreme Court of India, though a copy was kept by the petitioner, Hari Sampath – see scan of affidavit below on this blog)
