Gerald Joe Moreno constantly attacks me for lying. He has written this:-
I stand by my definition. Moreno conveniently overlooks the universal legal norm that, when an accusation of lying is made the burden of proof is on the accuser, not the accused! He is unable to prove any wilful intent on my behalf. His accusations against my lying are wilful, as all can see, and none of my errors or any other statements are proved to be wilful lies on my part. I am only guilty of some trivial inaccuracies, typos and other bagatelles. This is all being documented through my present series of blogs.
Moreno’s wholly untrue slurs. Funny that blather about ‘penultimate’ too!
I do correct an incorrect statement – or an ambiguous one – when it actually does come to my attention. In this respect, Moreno clearly always makes a false assumption that I read his e-mails – I never do since his very first two or three, nor do I open his web pages or blogs unless essential – as recently in refuting him at long last. So has previously not got much response from me. I see how he craves my attention to his trivialities and false accusation from his constant pleas to me to respond. So now he should be satisfied! Nothing I now see that he has pointed out is a lie or an untruth on my part.
As to my assertions that Joe Moreno was illegally molested in a sexual context, they are not slurs because they are entirely true: it is an objective fact that the events he described when he was “oiled” were against the law of most countries, including India [This has been pointed out by Basava Premanand, who is extremely well acquainted with Indian law]. It is not a matter of subjective feeling and/or belief, as Moreno wants it to be, and his private sense of pleasure afterwards and is entirely irrelevant. He can rail about it as much as he wants, it will not change that it was illegal. I consider that proved and closed. As to libels, Moreno has libeled me with untruths and mud-slinging constantly all over the Internet for over 4 years and now I am responding with rebuttals, to which he has responded with more immoderate libels and inflamed language. That itself proclaims the complete lack of substance in his contrived accusations.
Moreno is unable to reply to 90% of what is shown about him and Sathya Sai Baba, so – in his emotional turmoil and lack of integrity – he avoids it and concentrates on slurs. This will be demonstrated at length in future. Patience! Patience! Moreno doesn’t write from the heart, nor evidently much from the head either, but his spleen is evident throughout towards critics. For example, he cannot distinguish between what is “stated” and what “promotes a statement” (i.e. the case of Lisa de Witt who promoted Rebello’s statement that I was dying of AIDS… already years ago on Yahoo groups and Wikipedia talk pages). Moreno himself promotes some of Rebello’s degenerate lies and most vulgar accusations against me too, which shows what also kind of agenda Moreno stands up for! All that is spleen, and poor ‘head work’. Explain those who can how he could have collected his web pages under the title “fair-is-fair”.
Sometimes I think Joe Moreno actually believes that I and Barry Pittard – and all the others he attacks for this – have really been lying. If so, he must suffer from have serious mental blockages and deep-seated psychic denial. It is explainable in that he has made countless claims that I and many other Sai critics are lying on innumerable points… so his entire prestige (not to mention his patently hate-aggravated mental condition) is dependent on maintaining his impossible position… and that is no doubt also why he steps up the volume of lying accusations and the extravagance of his adjectives and slurs.
