Dr. Michael Goldstein of the Sai Org. an irresponsible cover-up agent

Dr. Michael Goldstein bullies BBC reporter CLICK ON IMAGE TO READ MORE

Dr. Michael Goldstein, International Chairman of the Sathya Sai Organization for about 2 decades, demonstrated his total failure as a medical doctor in refusing point blank to apply duty of care and mandatory reporting of widespread sexual abuse claims against Sathya Sai Baba. This denial surfaced in an aggressive and very nasty attack on the BBC presenter Tanya Datta in the film ‘The Secret Swami’, while being filmed without him knowing. This was found necessary by the BBC producers – and was approved at the highest level in these matters – because it was evident that Goldstein was refusing to answer perfectly reasonable and correct questions on this very important issue. He showed his true face,  See Goldstein’s threatening rant here  Michael Goldstein in total and aggressive denial about the sex allegations(1.50 MB)

Just as his predecessor as Chairman of the SSO, Dr. John Hislop, is on record that he KNEW all too well about the regular sex abuses by Sathya Sai Baba, so did Dr. M. Goldstein!  That this fact is beyond discussion can be seen from testimonies of several prominent ex-followers (CLICK HERE)

Glen Meloy, who had previously served the Sathya Sai Baba Organisation with heart and soul for decades, became a dissident when persons he knew told him of being sexually abused by SB. He eventually wrote to D. Goldstein after various attempts to speak to him which Goldstein denied! Here is the main body of what he wrote, which we can endorse fully and which the videos from the BBC film bear out remarkably well!

Dear Dr. Goldstein,

As long as I can remember, you have been noted for your rather non-loving and unkind disposition with your so called brothers and sisters.

Your caustic and sometimes arrogant put down attitude was well known to most devotees and your Regional Officers and Coordinators, but the Devotees still tried to respect you because sai baba had somehow decreed that you were in charge. Elsie Cowan and Jack Hislop and many others could not explain your unfriendly disposition and you were often compared to the other jackals and hyenas of baba’s ashram staff in India that are well known for their barking and angry non-loving attitudes, especially to Westerners.

Oh you put on a posture that everything was just sweet smelling roses, but the foul odor of your rotten personal conduct in the presence of your fellow officers and devotees often smelled of impatience and a complete lack of love. You and Indulal Shah were both intensely disliked by Elsie Cowan and there was many a morning in the book center when both of you were the topic of discussion as to how to create peace and harmony especially in the Southern California Region. At Elsie’s request, I tried to discuss it with you but you brushed me aside and told me to stay out of it.

Oh yes, I witnessed the same bad behavior with your brother Indulal Shah when he mercilessly bad-mouthed and lectured an Indian Devotee from Canada who was requesting his help to
release medical supplies from the customs port at Madras that his center had donated for the Super Specialty Hospital. I barely restrained myself from crying out and asking Indulal…”Where is the Love?”

And more recently, you refused to acknowledge or open a letter that had been written to you by the founder of the Eugene, Oregon Center and signed by over a hundred former devotees from all over the world concerning the serious criminal molestation allegations that you and the other so-called leaders have been covering up for many years. When all of us heard about your pious pronouncements to one of your former Regional Officers and a Father, whose son had been molested over 25 times, it just boggles the mind how you, a medical doctor, could be so callous and cruel to suggest to the Father that maybe his son was delusional.

You told him that ssb had told you baba was “pure” and that you were sticking with baba – all that after baba had for the first time publicly in front of thousands in the 1999 Christmas Discourse shot you with his “Golden Ego Arrows” stating what a good man you were and what a great devotee you were. (Do you remember your previous “Golden Arrow” comments at the Regional meeting in Southern California with Bob Bozzani??) And then you flew back to the US and hurled those insults to that devastated family.

Dr. Goldstein, you know very well if those molestations would have occurred here in the USA, you and your fellow conspirator officers would be in jail for failure to report. How you can sleep at nights and defend what most of us now believe to be the worst and most dangerous pedophile molester in the entire world is beyond belief. You once referred to the grief that the entire world felt at the death of Mother Teresa and Princess Diana and said Swami teaches us that there is darkness so that we may appreciate the light and love that they brought into the world.

CLOICK ON IMAGE FOR VIDEO CLIP (4.5 Mbs) IN WiNDOWS (wmv)

Why don’t you apply that same thinking to the innocent boys and young men who brought their love to the one person they had been taught to believe from the time they were born was the very highest, only to discover that he is a fraud god who sexually rapes and molests them while claiming to be the God of Gods and Lord of the Universe. Oh Dr. Goldstein, how many lambs have been led to the slaughter because you and your fellow officers have NEVER WARNED THE MEMBERSHIP so that Mothers and Fathers could decide for themselves whether or not they wanted to put their children in harm’s way by going to India and praying for those coveted interviews behind the curtain and door of shame with sai baba. There will be a day of reckoning, Dr. Goldstein…….. and you and your swami will have to account to every devotee and their families and friends who have been physically, mentally, financially and spiritually raped. You once wrote that Love and Goodness Rule the Day…………I would like to add the word Truth to that.

When this fraud god calls all of us former devotees, Judases, in his unloving Christmas Message, your message above states……..As always, in His Divine Caring and Compassion for all of us, He knows what we need and when we need it. Then, when the time is right, with Love of the Divine Mother and Father of mankind, He gives us what we need. The time is right! I trust that all of us will study well this Divine Discourse and reaffirm our commitment to the spiritual path.

Dr. Michael Goldstein’ bought off’ with a Golden Shiva Lingam 2008.
During the 21 July 2008 – Sri Sathya Sai World Education Conference,  Sathya Sai Baba “materialised” (i.e. prestigitated)  a golden Shiva ‘linga. He announced it would be presented to Prashanthi Council member Dr. Michael Goldstein (Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation). Sai Baba said the lingam would grow in size and the water from it (abhisheka) could be given to sick people. The next day, Sathya Sai Baba”materialized”  vibuthi (supposedly “holy ash”) and poured it over the lingam. This kind of attention is taken by followers as a massive endorsement by God Himself and it is a sure way of flattering the devotee, and so keeping him in line. Sai Baba did this repeatedly with his two most prominent Westerners, Dr. John Hislop and Dr. Goldstein, because both of them had been virtually forced by the many reports of SB’s sex abuse at least to ask him about it. He denied everything, as all sex abusers do! But to make sure they stayed in line he gave them special privileges and public praise.

Sathya Sai Baba’s bent judge, P.N. Bhagwati is shamed

Posted by robertpriddy on November 27, 2011

Sathya Sai Baba’s extremist supreme court judge, whose level of integrity leaves everything to be desired, has once again shown himself to be a selfish conniving manipulator in the least honourable of India’s more broken democracy. His intelligence and probity came under scrutiny when he manipulated the Supreme Court judges to throw out in peremptory and typically unjust fashion the petition presented by Kamini Jaiswal on behalf og Hari Sampath, a former security official at the Sathya Sai Baba ashram. He has since admitted to his lacking judgement in rather replying on his sworn God-guru, Sathya Sai Baba, for his every action and decision for decades! See Sai Baba’s Bhagwati shows total disrespect for justice.

With the government of the time (under Narasimha Rao and Home Minister S.B. Chavan), he was a key player in the cover up of the ghastly executions under Sathya Sai Baba’s aegis in his own apartment and not least the affidavit-backed petition to the Supreme Court, which also exposed the long-term sexual abuses of young men by Sathya Sai Baba. Now we see that he has – in his semi-senility – let the cat out of the bag, as if hoping to be forgiven for such dastardly actions of repression of democracy! Not a gentleman by any means… deeply involved in dark doings by the Sai Central Trust involving the covered-up facts about the death of his guru, Sathya Sai Baba who they evidently disconnected from life support on Easter Sunday (having planned it all in advance). Bhagwati also was co-responsible for the directly illegal appropriation (regardless of the family) of the hoards of wealth kept privately by Sai Baba – all in direct contravention to the rules of the Central Trust.

Sai Baba 86th birthday anniversary a virtual washout

Posted by robertpriddy on November 26, 2011

Indian news media are remarkably silent about the 86th birthday anniversary celebrations of Sathya Sai Baba on 23rd November. None of the major newspapers have coverage of the event, though the Hindu has a brief article. Even the official International Sathya Sai Organization website (http://www.sathyasai.org/) was not updated after 21 November this year, and has no mention whatever of the event! That is surely a very telling sign of the state of affairs, if ever there was one. Search as one may, the Indian news outlets on-line have nothing substantial whatever to offer. That the 86th celebrations were very far from being anything remotely like the best days of the past is evidenced by the content of the main Sai Baba propaganda websites – such as saibabaofindia.com, where there are videos but where one sees no sign of real crowds other than all those involved in Sai Baba schools, colleges and other institutions dependent on the Central Trust. The videos show a mostly po-faced or scowling Sai Baba endlessly swinging on his joola from the distant past… interspersed with the empty joola swinging this time, accompanied by the musical group at the celebrations. Saibabaofindia.com carelessly labeled its page absurdly (as is their style) as “Sri Sathya Sai Baba Birthday celebrations in prashanthi Nilayam puttaparthi India and all over the universe”

The propaganda machine now apparently under the overseership of Ratnakara, the nephew of SB who won the battle to be the main holder of the Sai Trust purse strings, is continuing its disinformation. As ‘The Hindu’ remarks (see below) “scores of devotees” thronged the 86th celebrations, while Ratnakara mendaciously expands this to 75 thousand! One can see (image here) the main celebration was held in the Kulwant mandir, which holds less than 10,000 when jam-packed! The Hindu also wrote:  “The Tamil Nadu Governor, Konijeti Rosiah, who was the guest of honour on the occasion, said that Puttaparthi was a holy place as it was proved beyond doubt with the very presence of millions of devotees across the globe.”  One can but laugh at that kind of imaginary proof, especially today when Sai Baba lost credibility even with so many Indians when he died prematurely of such causes and was found to have been a private miser and hoarder!  “The Hindu remarks that he “sought to allay fears of decline in patronage” – exactly, this is the main agenda now, a vain agenda! His vanity depends on the position he now has whereby he is largely responsible for how well the ship sails… which also explains his great reticence in publishing details of the donations received – the obvious great drop in these from abroad – at the very least – would be damaging to him too. His policy is typical of the way the Sathya Sai authorities and Organization have always operated… faked multiplication of numbers of visitors, devotees, groups, centers in every instance. No independent head count has ever been made to check a single one of these claims. For a Sai group to become an official ‘centre’ it only has to have nine members! Some centres only have 9 members spread out over a large geographical area, even a whole nation! This indicates adequately what lies behind the boast that the organization has centres galore in hundreds of countries!

The great deceiver's deluded puppet, Dr. Michael Goldstein

The Sathya Sai Organization (which is quite separate from the Central Trust with its money bags) is truly negligible compared to other such international bodies in terms of the volume of its charitable, voluntary works, except possible in parts of India. Once the number 60 million followers was established in some media, the lie has persisted – even though some media have reduced it to 30 million (with not a figment of proof one way or the other). Only because of the laxity of modern, ever-more-impoverished newspaper journalism and their reliance on press releases did the misinformation machine have such success in deceiving world media about the true numbers involved. The Organization used to report such vastly exaggerated figures as “three million visitors” to the 70th birthday (actually not more than 500,000). Now it is down to 75,000… which is itself wholly unbelievable. Not a single remotely famous or more consequential person was present this time either.

One of our most incisive and well-informed commentators writes:-

Yes, on TV9, the Kannada State broadcasting station, you see more police than devotees in the streets of Puttaparthi. Nonetheless, the 86th birthday celebrations of His Late Greatness are channeled larger than life by His only active voice, Radiosai, and portrayed in all their lavishness and money spending splendour through accompanying videos. In the afternoon of November 20, infamous husher-up-of secrets and head of the international SSB Organisation, Dr. Michael Goldstein, resurfaced, as he held a speech in the Sai Kulwant Hall. One of his topics? The TRUTH, no less…

Sathya Sai Central Trust gets away with it again.

Posted by robertpriddy on November 24, 2011

The Sathya Sai Central Trust has begun to publish some of its affairs, but only after massive pressure from the press, public and, though they do not mention the fact, from devotees, who have written many press comments about their secrecy, non-transparency, non-accountability. From the interview (below) one can clearly deduce that the flow of donations is not what it was since the spokesperson claims “it is coming up” but its “main stay is really the income from investment”.

Though S.S. Naganand claims (below) that “the adverse things that came out in the media have all died down because they realised that they were all false”, this is most obviously not true (see the chronicle of events and press reports in which the Trust was constantly implicated) . ALL ADVERSE facts were definitely not false… especially the total irregularity of the Trust’s behaviour over the massive hoarded wealth which it appropriated after Sai Baba’s death without even minimal regard to the claims of Sai Baba’s family members. The proof of this is seen in the fact that the new  financial report does not even mention the fact of illegal appropriation of huge sums of cash, gold and precious stones by the Trust despite the fact it was forbidden by its Charter. It was a financial crime which was taken for granted. Even if we put aside the question of origination of that wealth, SSB had no right to accumulate those valuables as the chairman of the Trust. He could do it only privately but then his relatives have right to inherit all that wealth. In short, the Trust continues its underhand methods and denials of fact. Further, that it refuses even now to account properly for the income of the Trust because it would reveal what Naganand refers obliquely to as “it has a number of implications from a number of avenues”.

Puttaparthi loses grandeur? Yes indeed!

Posted by robertpriddy on November 22, 2011

Despite the pronouncements about the activities in connection with the upcoming “birthday celebrations” (see Radio Sai Harmony website and saibabaofindia.com) the only remotely significant person they could drag up to attend the birthday function this year is the governor of Tamil Nadu. Gone are the days when PMs and Presidents, starts of screen and stage could be trumpeted as visitors. Why have they all lost interest? It is no mystery to those who read these blogs, at least! The waste of public money and donations continues nonetheless… 800 police personnel paid for by the public, with the Sai authorities using funds to spruce up the village, funds  surely donated by well-meaning but misguided followers for relieving suffering, aiding the poor, improving health care and education.

Visitors to Puttaparthi always had to queue endlessly to get to darsan (obeying bossy servitors’ every command), then sit on the ground and wait endlessly for Sathya Sai Baba to deign to appear. Then he would repeatedly say to the crowd wanting interviews or whatever “Wait, Wait, Wait”. Now there is nothing whatever to wait for, even less than before!

Sai Baba’s failed predictions, doubtful birth date, doubtful age, doubtful death

Posted by robertpriddy on November 21, 2011

In the run-up to what is claimed by all pro-Sai websites to be Sathya Sai Baba’s 86th birthday (though all official Sai sources also claim that he really lived until age 96 – measuring it out in “lunar years”) one must remark that there is no proof whatever that he was born on 23rd November 1926 (in retrospect a date most conveniently chosen by his image-makers because it virtually coincided with Sri Aurobindo’s proclamation that Krishna would be born then). The only official document that refers to his age is one of his school records, which indicates that the correct date was nearer 4-10-1929 (3 years later in a different month and day)!

As to the absurd claim about 96 lunar years – none of the calculations made of how many lunar months he lives fit with the age of 96 years – not be any way of reckoning the lunar month. Besides, a “lunar year” is a false contrivance, firstly because a year means the solar year (365 days for the earth to circle the sun) and secondly because to add up the number of months (i.e. number of days for the moon to encircle the earth fully) in a life time, it makes no sense whatever to divide this by 12 (as the shastris do) to prove a different number of  ‘years’ to the actual years of the  solar or calendar. The whole faked claim was made to keep devotees from defecting and to hope that donations would still keep coming in!

One can do no worse than read the following blog:- Puttaparthi Sai Baba Birthday 2011 – Where Have All The Golden Pomp and Circumstance Gone? As to his doubtful death – no one knows the true circumstances of it. No proper legal death certificate, no statement of the cause of death (most likely AIDS! – obviously taboo to mention) therefore no post mortem, no explanation about the removal of the life support system which had been running for weeks before he must have been disconnected and no one owned up to anything, and the false denial that they were behind the documented order of the casket (in which he was finally put on show) weeks before the date that gave as his death date.  .. in fact, the silence of the grave, the mafian muerta was the policy of the Central Trust’s Srinivasan, Ratnakara, Bhagavati and others (which seriously discussed burying him alive at one point, as reported in Indian newspapers). Instead they boasted that he had left the body on Easter Sunday (to concur with the Christ symbolism). In view of all this smoke and mirrors, lies and deception, who can trust anything at all that now issues forth from this cynical propagandising money-grabbing cult?

Not to forget the brave counter-claim to the behaviour of Trust members by a former Minister (Nagireddy) that Sai Baba had been badly maltreated, drugged, starved and had cried for help from devotees when he was being ‘taken away’ to his own hospital by his murky ‘minders’ and ‘servitors’. See:  A reminder of what was reported about the minders of Sai Baba while he was in “intensive care”, before they secretly took him off life support on Easter Sunday!

New book denounces Sathya Sai as bogus Shirdi Sai claimant

Posted by robertpriddy on November 20, 2011

An Australian lady, Lorraine Walsh-Ryan, who was born in India became a Shirdi Sai Baba devotee and was later drawn into the Sathya Sai Baba organization. She writes of her experiences at the ashrams and in the organisation groups, describing many untoward aspects which have been experienced by so many who have left the entire Sathya set-up and virtually all it stands for. Her book “My Truth” (My life lived with my master Sai Baba of Shirdi) is available in Hardcopy or e-book at reasonable prices. See also previously posted details from Lorraine Ryan’s experiences in Puttaparthi etc. here

The Birthday Celebrations – degeneration, disease and demise of Sathya Sai Baba

Posted by robertpriddy on November 18, 2011

On various web pages, devotees of Sathya Sai Baba are urged to gather to celebrate the 86th birthday of Sathya Sai Baba on November 23rd, 2011. Since he died last April, it is rather more fitting to look back at his last appearances in the living body, though he was clearly near death’s door at his previous birthday, where he say like a zombie, almost unmoving and unresponding, but breaking into tears twice during a talk that was given in which he was referred to as ‘Sri, Sri, Sri Sathya Sai Baba’!

Lest one forget the nature of Sathya Sai Baba’s behaviour with male youth

Posted by robertpriddy on November 16, 2011

After 11 years , the  daily postings here now add up to over 1000 (with already well over 1 million visits). This  makes it hard for many visitors to this site to know what is here and what is generally more important. to choose. Some of the sex abuse testimonies – which are most credible to those who know the details of Sai Baba’s behaviour, interviews and from insiders at his ashrams – are among the most damning reports, not only because they are many and from around the world, but because they have led to a collection of sworn testimonies and affidavits… which it was never possible to present in any Indian court since Sai Baba was constantly protected from indictment from his devotees at the very highest level in India. Here are links to some of those testimonies:-

Testimony about Sai Baba and his Hostels for Boys  and more testimony from this ex-’form boy’ The former student who was abused constantly at Sathya Sai Baba’s college in Puttaparthi, who also describes his sex abuse by Sathya Sai Baba himself, continues to report details and reflections about his time at that college. He is now a professional living in India and remains anonymous for obvious reasons of harassment by Sai devotees, of which he had had his fill, though his full identity is known and confirmed by Conny Larsson and myself.

Sathya Sai College: ex-student tells of awful culture there  A valuable account to inform those who were at the colleges what others experienced. Much was unsaid about Sathya Sai Baba because of the extreme censorship, the very strong punishments that were meted out to students who talked, up to and including their death.

Testimony from another ex-Sai Baba student – one of  a series of  revealing e-mails from a former Sai student who contacted me  so I might know more about the situation as it was at the Sai colleges. The identity of this person is also protected for reasons that are now well-known (and become more evident when you read the following account)  In the following t.t. tells how the murders were perceived by one who was studying there at the time.

Four Sai Baba defectors give striking testimony
Testimony from a Sai Baba sexually-abused male and more from Huffington Post
Many young men claiming sexual contact with Sathya Sai Baba
Hans de Kraker: telling comments on Sai Baba on The Telegraph obituary
Sathya Sai Baba on record

A summary of most of the testimonies is found at  Many young men claiming sexual contact with Sathya Sai Baba– However, there have been more than are mentioned there (eg. Christopher St. John, W. Glad), some of which have been stated by signers of the so-called Sai Petition (search page for Dilip Narain, Alvaro Filippo Michelon, David Juliano, Michael Smith, Veronica Isdacsson, Meenakshi Srikanth, Rosalia Malagelada de Never, Paul Throne…)

Sri Sathya Sai University or Institute of Higher learning

Posted by robertpriddy on November 15, 2011

Sri Sathya Sai University, established in 1981, was formally called the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Deemed university).  Despite intensive attempts to publicise it as a top centre of learning, with devotees posting misinfomational halleluja statements about it, including on a Wikipedia page, it is not on the list of the QS World University Rankings® currently considers over 2,000 and evaluates over 700 universities in the world, ranking the top 400. Academic Ranking of World Universities 2011 ranks only two Indian Institutes within the first 500 best universities – between 300 and 500. No other ranking list contains any Sai Baba institutions of any kind.

Since its establishment in 1981, the Satya Sai Institute of Higher Learning had been declared a ‘deemed’ University by Madhuri Shah, devotee and Chairperson of the University Grants Commission, on a par with the rest of India’s Centres of Higher Learning! A couple of decades later the Indian authorities elevated that Institute into a fully-accredited university, due to Sai Baba’s increased political and financial influence, rather than any hint of excellence of the Sathya Sai educational standards. It is a faith university, and is completely inconsequential as regards science and humanities. After the demise of Sathya Sai Baba in 2011, the University was relegated back to the status of mere ‘deemed university’.  This was not least because it is a faith university, and is completely inconsequential as regards most of the sciences and all modern humanities. Being of such a low educational level, many of its graduates could not think outside their mental learn-by-rote boxes – nor were they allowed to expose the many fallacious and ignorant ‘teachings’ of Sai Baba that were part of their daily fare.

The famous former editor of Sai Baba’s journal, V.K. Narasimhan, told me in the mid 1990s how appalling was the method and standards of education there, because most students who obtained Ph. D. degrees there were incapable of any informed discussion of questions, having no independence of thought but mostly only being able to repeat what they had learned. I found this to be true when I discussed subjects with certain students of his university. Moreover, as a further symptom of the situation, in 2011, the college teachers at Prashanthi Nilayam revolted against the Central Trust for failing to pay them properly.

Add to the reputation the Sai Baba colleges have regarding the repeatedly testified widespread sexual abuse of male students and its popularity is declining, the more so now that the figurehead is dead. This is seen in many ways… for example, on the official page for Sai Educational Institutions, the links to Sri Sathya Sai University are either dead or extremely slow to download (see http://sssihl.edu.in/). Furthermore, the link on the main page to “Ashram Information” leads nowhere but back to the same page! Many such signs of decline in the entire Sai movement and organizations are to be found throughout the Internet. Websites formerly visited a lot are now up for sale.

Ex.student of Sai University describes life within its confines

The penetrating article Life at Sathya Sai University is an impressively articulate account of almost exclusively negative experiences of the studies, out-dated pedagogical methods and the attitudes, quality and behaviour of teachers there. The author shows how the professed aim to provide both secular and spiritual education is marred by the total adherence to Sai Baba’s moralistic near-fundamentalist directives, which stifle all intellectual and autonomous or individual personal growth and creates an atmosphere of hypocrisy and a toxic environment. He judges it as a metaphorical and a literal prison where curiosity and initiative are killed (unless it accords 100% with Sai Baba’s ideals). The teachers enforce strict censorship, internal spying, rote learning with unquestioning passivity, no freedom to investigate (i.e. no own use of Internet) nor to get knowledge from other sources than those adopted.  The writer gives telling examples of these practices.

Bala Sai – new Sai Baba imitating actor

Posted by robertpriddy on November 13, 2011

The number of gurus in India who are clearly imitating the logos, style, behaviour,  bhajan (women and men apart) and arathi sessions of Sathya Sai Baba (right down to the same hand movements) continues to surprise. Here is a particularly unimpressive young actor who portrays the young Sai Baba. His appearance is not very Indian, so his origins will be interesting (if ever known) At least he lacks the essential ‘Prema Sai’ look. He appears more like a painted doll than the person he would represent

NB! See comment reproduced below the images:-

When I posted this I thought he was pretending to be a guru, not knowing he was an actor. Fortunately one of those who follow this blogs set the record straight:-

That kid isn’t an impostor, Robert. He’s just a child actor in one of those atrocious biographical movies eulogizing sathya sai.

Anyway, here is a really informative article regarding pedophiles on the Daily Beast: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/11/12/penn-state-scandal-reminds-us-it-s-hard-to-id-sex-offenders.html

The part about ‘icon intimidation’ and ‘victim selection’ are spot on. (fom godz.buzy.how.can.i.help.you@gmail.com)
——–
Thanks for the information. I stand corrected, but in the mad world of Indian gurus one can be excused for believing him to be another claimant. Who could make such a dreadful parody of a guru. Why did they have to “white-up” the actor?

The Daily Beast article is yet another sound analysis and it is highly applicable in the case of Sathya Sai Baba, of course.

Few incidents are more telling against Sathya Sai Baba and his devotees than the “darshan on the moon” incident, which received enormous coverage, both in the naive Indian press and the yet more naive websites which promote Sathya Sai Baba at all costs, always without a single breath of questioning or critical thinking and never a link to any dissident articles, websites or blogs. At the funeral the moon was visible and this was considered a miracle, not only by devotees but by some Indian media, because it was still daytime! This shows a depth of ignorance of simple facts that beggars belief (literally!). The fact is that the moon is often visible in the daylight hours, especially noticeable when it is at or nearing full moon. I have often seen the moon in daytime myself. Sai Baba & Tigrett at the Mystic Inn of the 7th Ray! USA

The bizarre antics of Isaac Tigrett (outright defender of underage sex abuse) reached a new height after the death of his Lord and Master, Sathya Sai Baba. The 170 secrets he was vouchsafed so as to express the living will of Sathya Sai Baba were much-trumpeted (and much ignored by all Sathya Sai officialdom and devotee members of the Organization) are now beginning to emerge. In a chronically promotional-type video in pompous-voiced American style with a heartbeat in the background (how uncool can it get), he shows previews of drawings supposedly made by Sathya Sai Baba himself which illustrate the future town he planned (which apparently will, by coincidence) rise at Coorg where Tigrett has bought land and founded an ashram in the name of the Seventh Ray (which logo is used for Sai Baba’s plans too!). One cannot yet be sure that Tigrett did not draw these himself (it will probably be the same problem that arose with Sathya Sai Baba’s missing will and testament… Ratnakara claimed to be the rightful heir, and now Tigrett claims to be the bearer of the “living will” of the deceased eternal saviour.

As of June 2014, nothing more has been heard of the fabulous ‘Mystic Inn of the 7th Ray’ ashram project to be located in Coorg, South India. Shortage of cash. But venal Tigrett has excelled himself with self-publicity of an even more weirdly doubtful kind in an attempt to regain prominence (and probably also donations) See  Tigrett’s ludicrous fantasies about Sai Baba’s ‘return in subtle body’

Very little has been announced by Tigrett or associates about the development of the ‘Mystic Inn’, nothing at all after December 2012, He recently lecturd to students oin the US on himself and his overblown spiritual projects. Perhaps he has no longer anything more impressive to do but to bask in the college limelight. Or maybe he is waiting for the reappearance of Sai Baba in his former body, as the Sai fanatics are hoping and believing nowadays. If so he may be waiting it out, rather than take the chance of displeasing his ruler. What a laugh!

“The teachers gift to mankind will be revealed on the world-wide web” – “from its home high in the rainforests of India). This, says Tigrett, is what “the teacher calls the mystic inn of the Seventh Ray”. It is worth noting that in his video talk he mostly refers to “the teacher” (not using the name Sathya Sai Baba). This looks remarkably like another attempt to usurp the Sai Baba heritage because Tigrett is the promoter of the Seventh Ray at his ashram in Coorg (a rainforest in or near the Western ghats). His offers to the Sai Central Trust and Organization having got the cold shoulder and more, he looks as if he is getting back at them all for saying it is all a private matter between him and Sai Baba not worth considering. There are lots of disoriented lost souls out there looking for a replacement and palliative to be saved now that Sai Baba has departed… We wonder if they may be allowed – and will – donate to realise Tigrett’s dreams – a Mystic Inn (whatever that means)?

Sai Baba, Tigrett tells us, planned for four years – with his students – “a sacred city” to be “a living laboratory and library of tools” – in “blessed detail” for “mankind on his future journey” Tigrett’s grammar is as shaky as his irrelevant adjectives, like “living laboratory” (i.e. not a dead one?). Tigrett also calls it “a vault of knowledge for the teaching and study of ancient and contemporary sacred healing sciences, both physical and metaphysical to aid in the holistic path to peace of mind”. Tigrett famously donated $39,million for a modern hospital on Western lines which, even though it is private and unaccountable to anyone, has reputedly carried out many cost-free operations for poor Indians (but also for rich devotees from around the world).  Well, this “sacred city” apparently can’t involve another hospital, surely? More likely it will be a centre for every kind of moralising lectures on correct (spiritual) lifestyle, because prayer, doing selfless service and worshipping the guru etc. was Sai Baba’s primary suggested therapy for all ills! For example, eye problems were the result of “not seeing the good everywhere”, and many more such absurdities. He derided technology as mere ‘tricknology’ and this included science and its new inventions. (But he had to rely on a dialysis machine and other life-support technology for a long period before he was disconnected to coincide with Easter Sunday!) So we can guess what’s coming; yet more of the Sai Baba delusion about the Vedic knowledge (which did not stop India becoming the most disease and poverty-ridden example of superstitious ignorance for a millennia.

Sathya Sai Baba became heavily reliant on what he pooh-poohed as ‘tricknology’ when he had to have a state-of-the-art-wheelchair, a pacemaker, ventilation machine, dialysis machine, and much mor to keep him alive until his minders decided to cut him off from life support on Easter Sunday to make another bogus point about Jesus and Sai Baba

In his ashram he allowed and many kinds of “alternative” medicine, from homeopathy to traditional Indian and other bogus cures like ingesting gold, urine and some of the most bitter and sickening ‘Good for You’ concoctions). Such Veda-based “medicines” also include 108-oil massages – (possibly including genital massage for which he was famed).

The “sacred city” does not look as though it will be ground-breaking, since water turbines, solar panels and the like (i.e. “tricknology” again) – drawn as if by a 7 year-old (but not the omnipotent draughtsman who allegedly designed and created the universe). The “blessed detail” is wholly absent from  what are shown so far. A long chalk so far from the “amazing metaphysical machines” Tigrett has promised Sai Baba was donating to the future of mankind.  The use of the word “metaphysical” indicates a bogus project, something “out of this world” or “incorporeal” and hence not realizable in human life and reality. Metaphysics (in philosophy) have long been regarded as nothing more than speculative reason based on untested assumptions, invariably also usually false hypotheses and a heavy dose of religious concepts, and this characterises Sathya Sai Baba’s supposed wisdom (from the scriptures and ancient Indian sciences) which hoodwinked so many (as did Plato, Descartes, Hegel and countless others in their day).
