Glen Meloy, David Bailey and Sai Baba VIPs

Glen Meloy, a long-term faithful US follower of Sai Baba, who died in 2005, became a dissident when he learned through US Sai devotees who had told him of being sexually abused by Sathya Sai Baba. He was made the object of sexual libels, but not to the same extent as was David Bailey. This is because the concert pianist Bailey with private connection to the Royal family of Britain had been a favourite of Sathya Sai Baba, who chose him for around 100 interviews! Bailey was married by Sai Baba and was sent off around the world to promote his teachings (i.e. his cult), and he was honoured and praised by countless devotees, though the parents of a number of young men told him about their son’s being abused sexually by Sai Baba. Later he was able to confirm this when a number of students he was teaching music at Sai Baba’s college in Prashanthi Nilayam and who evidently deeply trusted his integrity approached him and asked him if he could influence Sai Baba to stop abusing them sexually. This led to his further investigations and a great turnaround in his view of SSB… something which happened to a great number of those who had taken him far too much on trust (he insisted of unwavering faith in his every word!). David Bailey was hounded by bitter and hateful devotees, calling him a pedophile, a jailbird and whatever not. This showed how many of them are in reality, when almost all talk about having been ‘transformed’ spiritually. Bailey knew the veranda VIPs well, including Maynard Ferguson and Phyllis Krystal, and when he questioned her about the sexual molestations, she admitted that they took place but said to him that the real issue was whether Glen really believed that Sai Baba is God or not. Virtually the same was reported by David Bailey in a documented phone conversation (see transcript here or listen to recording). Among other things Bailey testified: “people like Phyllis Krystal, people like Mike Hollander, who have been there for many years, they just turn round and they say ‘If you consider he is God, he can do anything. He can have fraud, sex, drugs… anything.” This would, for most reasonable non-indoctrinated people or colluders who knew they had a lot to lose by speaking out, be sufficient to reject all Sai Baba’s vast claims about himself and his nature as God the avatar of the age come to save humanity from disaster.
