Accusations against Sai Baba always blasphemy?

Posted by robertpriddy on September 29, 2012

That is what the majority of devotees were instructed to think, and most of those who remain most likely still do. I get e-mails accusing me of being evil and vicious in blaspheming against God when I am mostly only bringing forth reports on Sai Baba made by countless other persons. Though I have never written any lies whatever, I am still accused of lying all the time – and evidently this refers to every statement I post about Sai Baba (for example, repeatedly from the New York fanatics like Michael J. Hollander) One would think these bitter slanderers would realize that no amount of e-mails from them will change my mind one iota, for it is based on massive testimony, evidence and personal experience too. The dangers of speaking out about the sins of Sai Baba while in the ashrams was at least as dreadful as maligning Muhammed in public is today… i.e. murder and mayhemThat is what silenced the countless sexually molested students, and but a relative handful have even dared contact us until now, despite our cast-iron assurances of total confidentiality if required. It is still therefore relevant and important to remind at intervals of the many terrible things that have been done to dissidents, also by Sai Baba’s people who go under the hyper-false banner ‘Help ever, hurt never’. Two salient examples will serve for today:-

Excerpt from the book 'The Godmen of India' by a top Indian CID inspector who was awarded the President's medal for exceptional sleuthing in clearing up most difficult criminal cases.

I remember that incident at Birthday 1985 in Hill View Stadium, of some guy standing up and shouting something, and then the police dragging him away! We weren’t sure what in the world he was shouting, we were too far away (on the ladies side) – but we knew it was negative – I remember thinking it sounded a little like ‘fake’ or ‘imposter’. He was quite close up, in the foreigners section, right behind the small section of VIPs & teachers. I did not think it proper to mention that incident to my parents, so did not mention it in my letters to them.

Barry Pittard has also related the following:-
Between 1979 and 1982 I heard four stories, described below, relating Sathya Sai Baba to homosexuality: from Joseph (U.S.A.) in 1979; Donna (U.S.A.), perhaps in the same year; Connie Raadsma, a close neighbour of mine in Australia, in 1981; and an Australian woman who spoke to me at Puttaparthi in 1982. Like me, Joseph and Donna were of the tiny handful of long-stay Westerners he permitted to live around him, mostly in Whitefield I taught for two years at his college there), about 20 km from Bangalore, India’s fifth largest city. Donna was now one of a few Sathya Sai Baba forbade from entering his ashrams but who, ever faithful, would stand outside the gate straining to glimpse him. She claimed that she had spoken to various older Puttaparthi residents who said that Sai Baba had been homosexual even as a boy. (Note: expert evidence attests that most homosexuals do not practice child molestation). Perhaps Donna was expelled from the ashram for opening her mouth a bit too widely! Let us see in a moment what happened to Joseph when he opened his. And what happened to me, too.

In July 1982, acting only out of care for her (and indeed for all who may hear such stories), the moment I passed on the Australian woman’s concerns – who in great anxiety had sought me out for advice as having lived at the Sathya Sai Baba ashrams extensively – to two of Sathya Sai Baba’s top leaders Howard Murphet (Australia) and Richard Bayer (USA) about allegations of his homosexuality, I was called up to the office day after day by the Puttaparthi ashram manager, Kutumb Rao, a retired High Court Judge, confronted with patently ridiculous accusations, and on the forth day told “Swami has asked that you be sent out, and never return.” (One of the accusations was: You were seen in the ashram talking to a woman.” It can only have been the Australian woman who came up to me in distress).

In 1979, in the crowd awaiting Sai Baba’s public appearance (darshan), sat Joseph. Called a hippy by the village children (who may have been right), he appeared to be in his psychedelic thirties, and was one of three or so Westerners remaining after the hippies and others had departed from Sai Baba in the late sixties. Joseph began to discourse, for all of us to hear – and I sat just behind him. With rising stress levels and moral outrage, he said more than once that some college boys had told him that Sai Baba had asked a number of them (in Joseph’s words) to “line up and masturbate.” On the third or so day of Joseph’s dark rumblings, six hefty Indian male service volunteers (seva dals) came and carried him out, ordering him not to return. The immensely powerful Joseph fought them, roaring out the accusations for all to hear. A very distressed Indian man said to me, “If Sai Baba is God, why do they need to use all this violence against this man?” An hour afterwards, one of the volunteers told me that ejecting Joseph was ‘like wrestling a tiger.’ He told me that his task saddened him, as he had known Joseph for so many years.

For the next days, while people awaited darshan (Sanskrit: viewing of a holy person), Joseph climbed a tree outside the ashram wall, and cried out the allegations for us all to hear. Then, he was gone. I heard from my close friend and local resident, Siva Subramanian, a Tamil who knew some of the Tamil police constables, that the Kadugodi police had badly thrashed Joseph and sent him on his way. So much, then, for the cardinal doctrine of ahimsa or non-violence in Sathya Sai Baba’s ashrams and in the land that still daily venerates Mahatma Gandhi along with the Dalai Lama, the towering apostles of non-violence.

Sai Baba and brother ordered planned murder of four devotees, 1993

Posted by robertpriddy on September 27, 2012

Sathya Sai Baba decided with his younger brother to 'eliminate' the four intruders to the temple - according to CID inspector J. Ram in his book 'The Godmen of India'.Two decades of experience of Sathya Sai Baba, mostly seemingly very positive, led me to believe that he could have had no part whatever in the six murders that were committed in June 1993. So unquestioning was my faith that I accepted what little was said about it by officials in the Sai movement and in a discourse by Sathya Sai Baba himself some weeks afterwards. One answer to part of the enigma I tried to adopt was that Sathya Sai Baba has to allow human affairs to take their own course so as not to usurp their will. But this would not hold water in the long run. Now I have received information which confirms the suspicions I had but did not endorse definitively until now: Sai Baba actually ordered the murder of four persons!

One fact which was reported at the time, but which great efforts were made to conceal, was that the four who were later shot by police, had actually been caught by a mob of villagers and students, were bound up and beaten to death with sticks. They may still have been alive after that, however. The subsequent shootings (which undoubtedly indisputedly occurred) would then have been staged by the police in connivance with Sai Baba and his officials. One independent report posted in August after the murders by a co-student of one of the four murdered devotees emphasises the facts that the ashram most successfully suppressed in the aftermath of the horrendous night of 6 June, including the binding and beating to death by a mob. (see the report here)

Consider the nature of the crisis and dilemmas facing Sathya Sai Baba and his minions when the four attackers who had killed the valet and another servitor had been caught and bound. What should or could they do? They had to decide what the motive could be. The younger brother, Janaki Ramiah, was certain it was an assassination attempt on Sai Baba himself (reports from several persons claimed he had a personal motive for this view).  Later, Sai Baba stated that he knew it was not so. That they had killed the most important servitor, valet Radhakrishna Menon, who controlled access to Sai Baba’s rooms, along with one of his helpers Mahajan (while wounding yet another) pointed to quarrels which were known to exist between him and the intruders.

On the other hand, there was no doubt that the intruders wanted to speak to Sai Baba – if not kill him – and their reason(s) – though not known in detail with any certainty – included questions of Sai Baba’s personal security and the corruption prevalent in the ashram. This was known about for years by the then ashram security chief Vijay Shantaram Prabhu – aged 45 – who had frequently told others of the corruption. Valet Radhakrishnan was surely one of those V. Prabhu and company saw as a main culprit.  Oddly, V. Prabhu reportedly wandered off casually to borrow cigarettes and/or smoke with his accomplice (Bothapatti Ravindra Babu Venkatshwar Rao (aged 33) while the others were entering the temple, just as if no violence was expected. It is thought Prabhu entered the temple shortly thereafter but managed to flee and so escaped the fate of the other four, as did Boyapati Ravi Rao.

Knowing most of the basic facts Sai Baba and Co. then had to face, and presuming the intruders had already been beaten to death (or only nearly so?) by villagers and students who has swarmed over the temple to catch them  they obviously realized that a massive scandal was likely. Even if the intruders survived the tortuous beatings, it was clear that any perception that they had been lynched with the aid of Sai students on the holy temple veranda in the Abode of Supreme Peace (i.e. Prashanthi Nilayam) would make it impossible to live down the disgraceful reputation it would bring on Sai Baba (who was supposedly in charge of the whole place and omnipotent into the bargain). If yet living, the four intruders’ death was to be desired so that their side of the story – which might be more disastrous still – would disappear. They doubtless knew a lot and – after being treated to torture – might well turn prosecutor’s evidence and bring out many hidden facts about corruption, sexual abuses etc. under cross-questioning. Yet how to get rid of them so it might appear an unavoidable upshot?

The Deccan Chronicle, Hyderabad 26-6-1993 reported, “Meanwhile, Janakiramaiah and Col. Joga Rao, who is also one of the trustees, came rushing and conferred with Satya Sai Baba for 10 minutes. Coming out of the Baba’s ground floor chamber, the eyewitness said, Janakiramaiah reportedly told the students to ‘lynch them’. (“Vallani kattesinaru, champeyundira…” They are tied. Now kill them)” While Joga Rao may only have conferred with Sai Baba for 10 minutes before his declaration, the police arrived (reportedly most inebriated, as on most evenings) only at 11.30, that is one hour after the intrusion and alarm. The hail of bullets they later released was heard by most of the ashram at 1 a.m. (according to numerous witnesses). (Despite these widely reported facts, the police report falsified the time entirely). So there was at least a 1 1/2 hours while Sai Baba, the authorities and the police were at ‘panic stations’ seeking some kind of plan for damage limitation, thinking out the details of the scenario  in which they would be shot by police in self-defence and then ‘negotiating’ through blackmail and probably further bribery with the police to force them to do it.

The police would not have gone along with that easily, but the Sai people had them in their power because they had rigged the escape of two villagers who slashed a Swiss lady devotee to death months earlier so as to get the Rs. 80,000.- they has taken and hidden. (This I was told by V.K. Narasimhan after I had asked to know what happened. As he was a close friend for years, I could not possibly doubt his veracity, nor his being deeply shocked and confused by it all. He knew that much (maybe more, though he was kept mostly in the dark by the mundane powers that administered the ashram). Probably the Sai minions added some more sweeteners… money was no object to them, of course.

Information from diverse and reliable sources show that the attackers of Radhakrishnan were not intending harm to Sathya Sai Baba. This was borne out by the chief planners of the incident, Vijay Prabhu and Bothapatti Ravindra Rao when they had surrendered to a different police district and were interrogated. (Apropos, they were never charged and were soon at liberty).

Here are some of the diverse reports asserting that no harm to Sai Baba was intended (which Sai Baba also confirmed in the first discourse he gave after the event!):-

From a mail from Eileen Weed (‘Divya’) who was living with Sai Baba’s sister Venkamma at the time and were told the above that evening by her grandsons, who were allowed into the temple during the incident.

Hari Sampath, who was a top security agent at Prashanthi Nilayam at the time, later explained: “The four persons told a strange story: They said they had received reliable information that there would be an attempt to kidnap Sai Baba and they were trying to warn and protect Sai Baba and WERE NOT INTENDING TO HARM HIM (http://www.exbaba.com/articles/murders.html)

The Hindustan Times 9-6-1993 reported that the widow of one of the killed assailants, Suresh Shantaram Prabhu, said it was Baba who arranged her marriage with Suresh, a marine engineer. Her husband was a very good man, a great disciple of Baba. ‘He would never harm Baba’. ‘We never do anything without Baba’s permission’.

‘He was so timid and kind that it is unbelievable that he tried to kill Sai Baba,’ says a shocked Saroja Krishnamurthy, mother of K. Sairam, one of the four assailants shot dead by the police. Indian Express 9-6-1993

Times of India 27-10-1993 Prabhu reportedly told the police that he and those shot dead by the police were all staunch devotees of Sai Baba
Times of India 9-6-1993 If the police version of the assailants pouncing on them and brandishing daggers necessitating the opening of fire as the only option is to be accepted as true, the ashram inmates, speaking on condition of anonymity, asked why none of the policemen suffered any serious injuries.

DECCAN HERALD 10-6-1993 reported that Mrs. Ratnamma (62), Jagannathan’s mother, said it was unbelievable that her son – a pre-university student at Whitefield who gave up his business to devote himself to the Baba – could ever attack Sai Baba as he was an ardent devotee. Mrs. Ratnamma said he had almost become an ascetic…”

“A local bank employee, who was also an eyewitness to the entire drama, told Chronicle on condition of anonymity that he heard the four saying from inside the locked room that they were only trying to save the Baba. The four were held captive for nearly an hour and thirty minutes.” (Deccan Chronicle, Hyderabad 26-6-1993)

Indian Express Vijawada, 4-7-1993 Parents of Boyapati Ravindra, who is at large following the June 6 incidents at Prashanti Nilayam at Puttaparthy, have appealed to him to surrender immediately: ‘Surrender and tell the world what has been happening at Prashanthi Nilayam. Baba knows you are innocent,’ they said. Aged parents Venkateshwara Rao and Ramanamma, who have been asked to leave Puttaparthy by Baba’s personal secretary Narayana, returned to their home in the remote village Ghantasalavaripalem in Krishna District. ‘If I or my son say anything, it is only at the divine inspiration of Baba,’ Venkateswara Rao claimed.

The Hitavada 8-7-1993 Sources say that the arrested duo, talking to the cops here claimed that they were innocent and had been framed. They hinted at a larger conspiracy and said that their names had been given to the police as they had vital information about the ‘misdeeds’ of those in power at the ashram. They claimed that certain people had gained control over the activities of the Ashram and were apparently misappropriating funds. These people control the purse strings and deal in considerable amounts of money on a day-to-day basis as huge donations come to the Ashram every day, they said.

Mr. Shankar Shantaram Prabhu, a retired flight lieutenant and father of the Prabhu brothers, told Chronicle that he was informed by his elder son, Vijaya Shantaram Prabhu – who is reportedly absconding – on that fateful morning that a homan was being performed by Radhakrishna ‘with an intention to harm the Baba, at some secret place’. Vijaya also expressed that he should do something to prevent any harm befalling the Baba, but was advised to mind his own business.  Mr. Shankar Prabhu…  opined that ‘there are some vested interests in the ashram trying to undermine the Baba. My two sons have become victims of the vicious circle in the ashram.’

Sathya Sai Baba massive bribery of residents

Posted by robertpriddy on September 21, 2012

All truth-seekers must thank Divya (Eileen Weed) for her letting the world know about events during the murders episode that no one else has revealed. By leaving Sai Baba she inevitably sacrificed most of her friends and contacts, having known mostly Sai devotees since a young age in 1984. The following letter may alienate some of the remaining contacts she has, but I hope they will realize that a person who has always shown such high standards of following dharma naturally feels that her telling unpleasant facts can help those many who are vulnerable to Sai propaganda and waverers who have been suffering from doubts and unfulfilled hopes. This is what she wrote me after we discussed these issues:-
Scan of e-mail from Eileen Weed on Sai baba having bribed with Rs. 50,000.- each of 30 resident families at Prashanthi Nilayam just after the murders.... i.e. hush moneyNote: Jerry Sandusky is a proven major serial child molester – see here

From the book "The Godmen of India" (p. 41) by Indian CID detective inspector Janaki Ram

Indeed, the police were blackmailed because the Sai authorities has until then let them get away with their taking Rs. 80,000.- from the Puttaparthi village brothers who has slashed a Swiss lady to death and stolen the money. The police had, after several weeks, let the boys ‘escape’ in return for the location of the cash! V.K. Narasimhan knew that the Sai authorities had used this to force the police to go along with their plan, to execute the four intruders on the principle “Dead men tell no tales” (as the younger brother, Janakiramiah,  had put it so nicely to the Indian Home Minister S.B. Chavan in Narasimhan’s presence, who told me he was so shocked by their laughing over it!

These were not at all the only reported cases of Sai Baba using bribery, though it is a very damaging instance. Sai Baba tried to ‘shut the mouth’ of Alaya Rahm by giving him money, watches etc. But Alaya spoke out bravely about the vile sex abuses he suffered from Sai Baba  because he had been brought up to believe fully that he was God Incarnate (he exposed the sex abuses in the BBC film ‘The Secret Swami’ and in the Danish film ‘Seduced’). Further, and yet more significant is th following account from the CID investigator J. Ram who published his book (The Godmen of India) exposing Sai Baba and others (see scan on right).

That Sathya Sai Baba often handed out cash, both in rupees, dollars and so on – especially to his favourite students or ‘form boys’ who were widely spoken of as his chosen sexual partners – has been reported by numerous persons. Not only does this show that he liked having money for his own purposes (something he denied flatly time and again) but that he kept stores of currency in his rooms. The  ‘final proof’ of this, if one may call it so, was the discovery of vast amounts of cash in various currencies, as well as gold, silver and diamonds plus, plus in his ever-locked secret Yajur Mandir rooms, which could only be opened by one person after his death (Sathyajit).

Court petition: ‘Why did Sai die?’ & irregularities in Sai Trust

Posted by robertpriddy on September 19, 2012

The Sathya Sai Central Trust has been exposed constantly in the Indian press for its corruption, yet it has so far escaped all the legal charges made against it. One supposes that the old Sai Baba technique has been used, bribery (new on how Sai Baba bribed people with large sums to keep the murderous events of June 6, 1993 secret will be posted here soon). Perhaps this petitioner will get some kind of hearing, but with a Sai Baba devotee in power in India (Prime Minister Singh) and many supreme and high court judges still being devotees, this may not be so easy.

A Division Bench, comprising acting Chief Justice P.C. Ghose and Justice Vilas Afzulpu-rkar, on Monday directed K. Ramesh, a petitioner seeking a CBI probe into the affairs of the Sathya Sai Seva Trust, to inform the court whether the trust had ever been under the jurisdiction of any government department. Ramesh, a devotee of Sathya Sai Baba, sought a direction to have the CBI investigate the alleged irregularities committed by members of the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Central Trust and also into the cause of the demise of the godman at Puttaparthi in April 2011.
The Bench asked the petitioner to explain whether the trust was registered and within the jurisdiction of the endowments department and whether the government had ever examined these affairs earlier. The Bench granted a week to respond its queries.

See also http://www.newswala.com/Hyderabad-News/High-Court-admits-petition-seeking-probe-into-Satya-Sai-Trust-Board-affairs-16821.html where “The court named State’s Chief Secretary, Secretary to Endowments, DGP, CBI and Satya Sai Central Trust as respondents in the case and asked them to file their counter petition in this regard by next Monday.”

Sathya Sai Baba reported to have ordered executions!

Posted by robertpriddy on September 18, 2012

The terrible events on the night of June 6, 1993, were described by Eileen Weed, known as ‘Divya’ who was then living in the apartment of Sai Baba’s sister Venkamma (also called ‘Amma’).

The Deccan Chronicle, Hyderabad 26-6-1993, briefly reported eyewitness accounts as follows:“Meanwhile, Janakiramaiah and Col. Joga Rao, who is also one of the trustees, came rushing and conferred with Satya Sai Baba for 10 minutes. Coming out of the Baba’s ground floor chamber, the eyewitness said, Janakiramaiah reportedly told the students to ‘lynch them’. (Vallani kattesinaru, champeyundira…” They are tied. Now kill them).” (Ed. note: I have checked with a Telugu speaker who gives as a more precise translation  “They have been tied up, kill them”)

Since Divya also stated that Sai Baba had ordered the executions, I asked her for a check on the translation (she is conversant in Telugu) and she wrote:- “… the Telugu is correct (“Vallani kattesinaru, champeyundira…”), as is the translation, with a small adjustment: “They have been tied up, kill them!”  It absolutely sounds like something Janakiramaiah, or any blinded-by-rage Indian villagers would say, and do! Just look at all the Indians, even women, murdered outright, for ruining the reputation of a family! Reputation is like the Indians very life-breath: try to ruin it and they get really merciless, really fast.
Note that Divya/Eileen Weed is available for questions and comments on her web pages here

Here we see how Divya and all around her during the infamous 1993 executions of four devotees accepted it without question as the necessary work of the Avatar (Sai Baba).

Eileen Weed (aka 'Divya') mail about June 6th 1993 murders

Eileen Weed (aka ‘Divya’) mail about June 6th 1993 murders

The following scan is an excerpt of the main recorded facts sent in a letter to her parents by Divya her being a true devotee – as all can see – who at that time therefore had not a sliver of criticism due to her complete faith in Sai Baba):-

Murdered Sai student Sai Ram with piece of rope visible in top right corner!

In the above photograph of Sai ‘university’ student Sai Ram, taken in a series by Padmanabhan on direction of the Sai Baba authorities, there is a rope above his head in the corner of the room. The eyes are closed in three photos of him, while in another (photograph 19) they are wide open. Someone has raised his shirt and his stomach part is seen with his left hand on it. His mouth is open and everything looks unnatural.  The warden never explained how he came out of the hostel at night when it is claimed that the hostel rules are very strict. The side of the ‘Vishnu snake bed’ on the right shows his body is located here in Sai Baba’s bedroom.

Sai Baba 1993 murders: eyewitness reveals amazing facts

Posted by robertpriddy on September 15, 2012

An American lady known in the ashram as ‘Divya’ (Eileen Weed) knew Sai Baba’s sister Venkamma for many years between 1987 onwards – living with her from 1989-1993 (and she finally left Prashanthi Nilayam and Sai Baba in 2005) Divya is posting a very extensive set of her letters home over two decades. The content of these establish her complete authenticity as an honest and truthful person respected by Sai Baba’s core family and the ashram officials and devotees who knew her, besides which she sacrificed herself continually to look after the difficult and very demanding sister, Venkamma, and was chosen to be the only person with her 24 hrs daily during her last week on her death-bed! Divya was a totally devoted Sai bhakta (then – and until around 2005 when she left the ashram).

Letters with her eye-witness account of the murders episode of June 6th 1993 clear up many details about the incident, showing that it was systematically covered-up by all involved, including by a criminally concocted and discredited police report. See scan excerpts below:-

Note: Disinformation and wilful rumours were put out as diversionary tactics by the ashram, the Central Trust authorities, Sathya Sai Baba himself (in a discourse later).  The Indian Home Minister S.B. Chavan and Prime Minister Narasimhan Rao both conferred at length and often with Sai Baba (whom they had long worshipped as God) and worked ceaselessly to divert the course of justice, which they finally managed, quashing the Central Bureau of Investigation work before it could conclude! Reconstruction of what actually happened has therefore required a huge amount of investigations, elimination of rumours, lies, set-ups and piecing together of the most likely account relying on the facts that are most unassailable. I shall eventually put forward such an account, after presenting the new evidence in a series of blogs, with comments based upon other known facts and assertions that are probable red herrings or outright lies.

Before reading the letter in which Divya described the murders to her parents shortly after the event, a recent exchange between myself and Divya serves to introduce the matter:-

Sathya Sai Baba murder victims

Three of the victims placed in Sai Baba’s rooms for photographing and one sees how knives were put beside each of them in a ham-fisted attempt to show they were shot in self-defense!

In the above photographs of three of Sai Baba’s murder victims were taken in a series by Padmanabhan on direction of the Sai Baba authorities. The bodies have clearly been arranged to make it look as though they were attacking police with knives and had to be shot down (with about 30 rounds!). The ‘Vishnu snake bed’ remains show two of the bodies were placed in Sai Baba’s bedroom.

Note: The intruders did NOT go up the kitchen stairs to Sai baba’s room, but entered from the interview room, where they had killed Radhakrishnan and Mahadevan first. Besides, one of the photographs does show a piece of rope on the floor. It is also evident now that Sai Baba left his room by a door onto the second floor of the temple, and went to a room at its other end.

Divya’a first letter to her parents described the terrible night of the murders and is to be found at http://www.wattpad.com/7113665-letters-from-india-part-2-57-the-event-june-7-1993 (See the main content as presented below in the next blog)

Divya welcomes comments, questions on her site with wattpad. This is a chance to ask a knowledgeable ex-devotee and fluent Telugu speaker many thing you wanted to know (but had no one you dared ask?)

Sathya Sai school, Leicester harassment case

Posted by robertpriddy on September 11, 2012

Click here for very latest report POSTED AUGUST 18, 2014 Sathya Sai School, Leicester, fights to survive  The Sathya Sai school has lodged a legal case against the Sri Sathya Sai Trust UK, who own the school premises and demand the headmistress be removed

See also 25th October, 2013: Sathya Sai School Leicester rejected by Sri Sathya Sai World Foundation

Report: April 26th, 2013. Leicester Sathya Sai School sackings – click to go to latest news

September 11, 2012: I am informed that the parents who could not afford to pay full fees to the Leicester Sathya Sai school (bursary??) were asked to do cleaning jobs in the school and also to clean the toilets (which is insulting).  Some time back children were asked to clean the toilets to which the parents opposed. Is this Educare and Sai service (seva)? You can have it!
Harassment update:The husband of the head teacher, Mr. Cheng Hoe Lim, who is under investigation for sexual harassment, and his accuser (a much younger female member of staff) have been suspended by the director, Dr. Madhavi Majmudar (and her puppets), but only after it was pointed out to her  that legally Lim should not be allowed in the campus and neither the lady who was harassed until the investigation is over. Otherwise she would have allowed him to continue as usual because the Lims regard the school virtually as their property or fiefdom, as is a common attitude with all the highly autocratic and unaccountable Sathya Sai leaders and institutions worldwide. But it is in Britain, not India or some banana republic for dictatorial VIPs! However, Dr. Madhavi Majumudar evidently still endorses the reported bullying by the head teacher of pupils under her care, which has enraged parents and brought the school under a dark cloud. Moreover, the ‘holy ash’ which has reportedly ‘materialised’ here and there in the school in an attempt to convince devotees that Sai Baba backs the accused (from the back of beyond?) ought to be investigated, possibly by health and safety authorities (to ascertain the nature and origin of the substance, which is regularly eaten by adults and children alike in Sai Baba circles, should be subjected to analysis and forensic investigation of origin). Who other than cult members will believe it is anything unusual? No one!

Further, it is reported that after some days, donors who have supported the school will meet with members of the secretive and highly suspect Sathya Sai Central Trust to consider whether to continue funding Leicester Sathya Sai school. If this is a genuine concern to be raised, then it is entirely unprecedented in the history of Sathya Sai institutions, which have never previously permitted the slightest questioning of their decisions and dispositions. At such a meeting the donors would be well-advised to review the academic and pedagogical isolation of a cult-driven educational philosophy (that Majmudar unapologetically represents), one which labours under the guru-God Sathya Sai Baba’s old-style puritanical and obscurantist attitudes and so programatically ignores the values of justice, social equality and liberty, human rights, women’s rights and modern sexual education.

Sathya Sai Organization: how to cow its leader

Posted by robertpriddy on September 8, 2012

The International Chairman, Dr. Michael Goldstein, was totally under the masterful thumb of Sai Baba – duped and indoctrinated and tested to destruction to see if he would do just anything for swami – that is seen from the following account by a very devoted lady known as Divya who lived for years with Sai Baba’s sister, Venkamma:-

Dr. Goldstein now presumably praying to the Great Empty Formless, Invisible,  Non-Existent Sai?

That was the strange idea about Swami’s love that devotees held- that he was teaching how to reduce the ego – when he was simply bullying Goldstein and humiliating him in public as if to say ‘See I can do this to anyone’! But Sai Baba had to make some small show of affection, he knew that! All most typical psychopathic behaviour! It seems Goldstein almost revelled in his own debasement, probably because it seemed to show all how much close attention he got and thus how good and important a devotee he was. In short, an ego boost all in all! Goldstein strutted around the world with his self-importance, despite having made himself a prime fool on the BBC’s Secret Swami.

Satyajit’s Sai Baba ‘testament document’ causes stir up

Posted by robertpriddy on September 4, 2012

Sathya Sai Baba has faded out of public memory…not that he was news even when alive, except for 2 days a year whenever any political leader visited him…or of course when the exposé made him news all over the world. Now, his closest devotee in his last years –  his young ‘boyfriend’ Satyajit has “released” a document making a declaration which Sathya Sai Baba had made and registered in the year 1967 in Mumbai. (see text in inset on right).

One of my well-placed informants in India poses some most interesting questions about this document:-

This is bizarre and raises several issues . Here are a few questions that come to my mind.

1. If Sai Baba had indeed registered a declaration in 1967, to be treated as a “will” and if Satyajit had it from 1998, and if indeed Indulal Shah had been a witness and known about it for 44 years from 1967, why did Indulal Shah, Satyajit and the Sathya Sai Central Trust completely deny it after Sai Baba’s death and hide all facts about it?

2. When controversy broke out between Sai Baba’s family and the Trust, and when the Government was planning to take over the Sai Central Trust, why didn’t the Sai Trust lawyers make it public?

3. If Sai Baba had indeed filed such a declaration legally, how come SB himself didn’t make it public or part of the SB trust charter all these years till his death?

4. According to Sai Baba’s own legally sworn statement, he was 44 years old in March 1967…this would mean he claims to be born in 1922/1923. If so, he would have been duping his followers by saying he was born in 1926. (Editorial note: This adds new fuel to the subject as explored and documented by exposé writers such as Brian Steel However, the documentary evidence from the school record makes Sai Baba about three years younger than he claimed, not older! This seems highly unlikely since his among contemporaries there were reports and a writer too (Vijayamma) whose accounts would not fit with this. So there is good reason to believe this testament is a fake, a red herring designed to confuse the issue for ends we do not fully understand)

5. If he was 44 in 1967, and claims he left his family when he was 12, does it mean he left his family in 1935? That would mean that he claims to have left  then… but this does not fit with known facts.

6. Sai Baba claimed that he “left his family”…but dont we all know he family didn’t leave him …his parents, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, all of them stayed with him at the expense of the Trust, were allotted houses, cars and given positions in the Trust, ashram etc. Jankiramiah, his younger brother who Sai Baba made a member of his Central Trust (editor: after he organized the blackmail of police and killings of the found intruders was also running several businesses due to Sai Baba’s patronage. He made “riches beyond his wildest imaginings” according to former famous journalist V.K. Narasimhan, who knew about his goings-on and crimes.)

AND THIS WAS ONLY THE FIRST BATCH FOUND!

There must be some reason why Sathyajit has released this document to the media at this point, but – as with all matters concerning his close servitors and Trust members – the snake pit is unseen by any outsiders until, sometimes, the facts emerge unexpectedly. Perhaps there are legal issues pending, say between the Trust and some family members, or a move in the factions’ struggles to deny the Trust expropriating the hoarded wealth seized. Meanwhile, even if Sai baba had formally registered the document (as Indulal Shah – a man infamous for economy with the truth –  says he did) we can’t rely on Sai Baba’s word as he said whatever suited him at any time, contradicting himself many a time most blatantly!

Despite all that, the discovery after his death of Sai Baba’s vast hoard of gold, silver, diamonds, currencies, silver thrones, valuables, foodstuffs, designer clothes, shoes – you name it, all stuffed throughout his private quarters (even under his 3 by 3 meter bed) says everything about his actual relation to worldly goods and property! Among the huge literature about him it is repeatedly shown that he always had money to hand in quantity to give away or use as bribery, and always had rooms from which he would produce all manner of luxurious items for plays, for his students and who knows what else.  He always hid his private wealth and ‘treasure trove‘ and lied continuously.

BREAKING NEWS:  Fairly soon, I shall be posting new and most compelling evidence from an impeccable source that Sathya Sai Baba was indeed the ruling the godfather who personally and most audibly ordered the murder of four of his trapped devotees in the infamous June 6, 1993 incident.  Increasingly we see that Sai Baba must rank among the very most consummate liars and deceivers India has known, at least since Independence, and as informed observers and historians will know, that is really saying something!

The amazingly successful cover-up of countless crimes which was developed through the decades by the decisive majority of the Indian cadre of Sathya Sai Baba- including the top politicians who protected him – is slowly falling apart at the seams, as will be seen. This culture of despicable deceit, financial corruption, use of bribery and enforcement of silence (‘muerta’) was endemic, working on all around them though a tortuous mixture of fear and misguided faith, cannot have changed overnight… and there is plenty to show that Ratnakara, Bhagwati, Indulal Shah and Co. are still very deeply compromised. The rat’s nest remains unperceived to any degree by countless ‘true devotees’ of Sai Baba who remain – mostly wilfully – in ignorance of it all. The Sai Trust and cronies are making every effort to keep them so, not least with bogus vibuti materialization stories and other invented miracles… the same old tale of cleverly organized appearances.

Sathya Sai Students today?

Posted by robertpriddy on September 3, 2012

ALL NOW KNOWN TO BE FALSE PREDICTIONS

It is interesting indeed that a former Sathya Sai service worker has followed up on the question of what became of the hundred thousand plus students who attended Sathya Sai Baba colleges. His conclusion is: “None of his students are leaders in any sphere of society. Where are all of these students who were “Educared”? They are not to be seen or heard of. Nor is there any impact of their work felt any where in any part of the world. Certainly not the fault of the students. Why is that so?”

He provides answers to this conundrum at:-

Sathya Sai students – where are they and how are they doing?

If any former Sai students who have not written about this before should wish to comment, it may be of interest to the public!

Sathya Sai Baba was strongly against computers and www

Posted by robertpriddy on September 1, 2012

Not exactly prescient, Sathya Sai Baba? Unless his much-promised ‘Golden Age’ takes over and we go back to the quill and the abacus used in ancient Bharath?

But Sai Baba was confused about computers: he began by disparaging them, and also the Internet, then he opened a Sai computer center at Prashanthi, and then took full advantage of the Internet with his massive centrally-funded propaganda machine! See

Sai Baba rubbished, then embraced computers
