Sathya Sai Baba Deceptions Exposed

Exposing major deceits by guru Sathya Sai Baba in India, incl. murders cover-up & widely alleged sexual abuse

Falsifications to ‘adjust’ Sathya Sai Baba’s own words

The remaining followers of the self-proclaimed God Incarnate, Creator of the Universe etc. bla bla were very disturbed in 2011 at his ignominious termination when all of his varied predictions of his age at death failed to come true. These ranged from 92 years to 96 years. Many books through the decades about Sai Baba repeated his having stated that he would remain in the body for 96 years, and this was held forth as something everyone who was still alive then could confirm that he was prescient and indeed God. When died in 2011 aged 84 (in his 85th year), the search immediately started for a way to rationalize away this glaring failure.

For those whose interests were at stake, it was second nature to bend the truth, claim facts that were only speculations or beliefs. Sathya Sai Baba had led the way for them in truth-twisting after the fact, promoting half-truths (more effective than outright lies) – but also in outright lies such as that his accusers that he sexually abused them were fabricating it all for money (no evidence of any kind given!). His editorial staff, also including the once-famous journalist V.K. Narasimhan (then a close friend of mine) ‘corrected’ the numerous mistakes he made in discourses, and – as he declined into senility with slurred speech etc. – changed many of the incorrect and remarkably ignorant things he had said to fit known facts

This culture of faithful mendacity to protect their Lord and master was widespread (with few exceptions) among those who Sai Baba had given high office, privileges and power. When some shastri surfaced to state that Sai Baba was not counting in calendar years, but lunar years, the followers felt vindicated in their delusions and spread the word. None more so than the former interpreter for Sai Baba, Professor Anil Kumar, who would invent statements on the spot to put into the mouth of his God whose speech was often becoming too slurred to be understood. He is a firm promoter of untruths of all kinds, and none less so than the lunatic but convenient ‘lunar theory’.

I have shown how the lunar age speculations do not hold water, however one twists them around. It is worth nothing that an unknown person with the user name GLC wrote very well-informed (though rather inflamed) comments on various sites after the death of Sai Baba. NOTE! Further upsetting the entire apple cart of the ‘lunar year’ calculations is the quite widely publicised wishes of Sathya Sai baba to leave his body “early”, that is, not at any of the times he had predicted previously:-
