I am 85 as of September 2020 and am healthy and untroubled by beliefs I once held and investigated until they collapsed, so that wider and deeper understanding took their place. Knowing how all officials and devotees in Prashanthi Nilayam are in total denial about Sathya Sai Baba’s widely known crimes and sexual activities, this sounds like a typical solution of the tried and trusted ‘ damage-limitation’ type. Maybe the doctor was protesting on the basis of all he knows about Sathya Sai Baba… who knows?
