Sathya Sai Baba Deceptions Exposed

Exposing major deceits by guru Sathya Sai Baba in India, incl. murders cover-up & widely alleged sexual abuse

More denial of fact and science by Sathya Sai Baba

Sathya Sai Baba tried to delude the world about the nature of Indian life:-

“The Indian way of life lays emphasise on this Triple Purity of thought, word and deed, at all times and in all places.” Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol 15

This is a ripe travesty of the Indian way of life, in which corruption, nepotism and fraudulent dealing are rife from top to bottom. (see here) If caught out in crimes, then graft and bribery can save the criminal. Sai Baba knew this very well and used bribery to cover up murders he endorsed. See detailed testimony on this here
As the most gifted polymath among all Indian authors, Nirad C. Chauduri, wrote in his frank and honest autobiography: “An Indian’s faith in bribes is infinite and unshakable. Not only is bribing believed to be an infallible remedy for all workday inconveniences, a belief justified by experiment, it is also regarded as an equally effective means of managing high affairs of state …”

Sathya Sai Baba also held most out-dated and archaic ideas about illness, disease, mental illness and heath, preaching an obscurantist kind of delusion,  long since discredited through the amazing and effective discoveries and cures of modern scientific medicine:-

“Man suffers from two types of ills, physical and mental; the one caused by the disequilibrium of the three tempters of vatha, pitha and sleshma and the other caused by the disequilibrium of the three gunas, satwa, rajas and tamas. One peculiar fact about these two types of illnesses is the cultivation of virtue cures both. Physical health is a prerequisite for mental health and mental health ensures physical health! An attitude of generosity, of fortitude in the presence of sorrow and loss, a spirit of enthusiasm to do good, to be of service to the best of one’s capacity; these build up the mind as well as the body. The very joy derived from service reacts on the body and makes you free from disease. the body and the mind are closely interrelated.” Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol 15

Note: see comment on the above posted by Chris Dokter: “Right you are, Robert, to expose this outdated, crazed opinion that Sai Baba had about mental and physical health. In spite of it being long since disproven by modern science, this reasoning reeked havoc on countless sufferers from mental or physical disease who went to see Sai Baba and put their hopes on him. His philosphy meant that a. people who were ill were to blame for it, and b. if they did not get well, it meant they were doubly culpable, because it proved they lacked faith and virtue. A double bind if ever I witnessed one. This in turn led to much disillusionment and justified anger, which oftentimes ‘needed’ to be covered up, turning into shame, selfdoubt and a pernicious inner critic.”

Sai Baba believed he was above and beyond all that – or wanted his followers to believe it.
“Sai above & beyond the gunas” p. 185 Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. 10 and “Sai needs no exercise, yet is very strong”  Hislop’s ‘Conversations with BSSSB’ “ p.125

He constantly lied about having fantastic prowess. Yet he was still young when he promised that he would later have to lift a mountain range to save his devotees (who carefully avoid mention of this or any other of his countless unfulfilled boasts). Once he was stuck in his wheelchair from around 2002 he got no exercise and his physical health went downhill, followed by his ‘closely related mind’ in full mental deterioration. See details of his degeneration here

“Sai name not publicised by Sai”  p. 95f – Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. 8

Not half, he doesn’t… no half measure there, full blare of trumpets blown by ‘Himself’ about his own Divinity, power, knowledge, love, service and every positive quality imaginable, repeated constantly in discourse after discourse through 60 years!

“Sai’s Name & Form soon established everywhere” p. 112 Sathyam, Sivam Sundaram Volume 3 “Sai alone total adheres totally to truth”  p. 187 Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. 17

These two statements defeat each other and are demolished by the facts.
