Sathya Sai Service & Comical Cosmic Hypocrisy
Posted by robertpriddy on May 9, 2014
Sathya Sai Baba railed against pomp and circumstance, tinsel and show – as well as against those who promote themselves – yet he did this himself to a very great degree. In examples shown here he said one thing while doing the exact opposite! This is called hypocrisy.
“Sathya Sai Organization abhors campaigns and advertisements. It does not function for the sake of advertisement. It is only Love that should bind us as one. It is our service activity that will broadcast our ideals, not advertisements.” (from Sathya Sai Baba’s 1999 Yugadi Discourse).
From around the 1980s, the Sathya Sai Organization, while pretending to heed Sai Baba’s stated policy of no publicity other than through one’s own service and love, began to promote publicity campaigns, which grew and grew in ambition and outreach. Directives were sent to members on circulating books, photo exhibitions, films and other media to promote Sai Baba and his organisation’s work and public information meetings and visits to schools, companies/firms, public institutions & the like” number, size and expense. Many venues were hired for the purpose of promotional exhibitions with talks and refreshments, and some very costly and famous places. These included the Sydney Olympic Super-dome stadium,
In a discourse (Sanathana Sarathi October 2003), Sai Baba also found the opportunity to slip in a disclaimer about boys sharing his bedroom, as he had previously stated they did and was common knowledge to ashram residents and many others with contacts to insiders. “These boys from the hospital sleep on the ground floor while I stay on the first floor. They discuss hospital related matters. I keep telling them, ‘Do not speak about them anywhere outside”.
Yet he had just sat uncomplainingly through one of these boy’s extensive accounts of the achievements of the hospital! This is sheer duplicity which also illustrates Sai Baba’s strong desire to have publicity trumpeted loud and far and repeatedly about the hospitals.
He also said: “One patient from Nepal had his heart on his right side! Our doctors have shifted it back to the correct location. I told the doctors that no one needed to be informed about this. People may accuse us of praising ourselves.” But it is he who praised himself and informed about it as publicly as he could!” Can hypocrisy be any more transparent?
He also said, “Thousands of students have received education in our university totally free of cost. But we have never publicized the fact.” Thereby he brazenly publicized the fact! And it is NOT true that he has not publicized this before.
For example, in 1993 he said in public: “Nowhere in the world can you see the kind of work that is being carried on here. Is Free Education offered elsewhere outside India on the lines offered here?” (Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. 26, p 267)
The answer happens to be a resounding ‘yes’, in many nations!

Asaram Bapu fails to evade justice
Posted by robertpriddy on May 2, 2014
Despite all the cunning tricks of the degenerate guru Asaram Bapu and his lawyers to get charges dropped against him, including a massive proven bribery attempt involving his imprisoned son, Narayan Sai, he has so far failed. Having managed to get permission to leave jail for hospital due to alleged body pain, he sought to avoid justice as long as possible, probably in the hope that the election result in India would bring in people who might quash the charges against him. To this end, the jail and the hospital administration appear to have colluded with Asaram to keep him in hospital so the trial could not proceed… and knowing what wealth he commands, bribery is the most likely method used (still universally believed in as the solution to all problems by most Indians). However, the Public Prosecutor R.L. Meena in Jodpur did not allow the trial to be delayed further, even if Asaram and Co. remain absent. Asaram’s defence have five times challenged the invocation of charge under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POSCO) Act against Asaram, claiming the girl accuser of Asaram was not a minor at the time of the alleged offence. This plea had already been rejected by the High Court! See the accounts published by Zee News here and here (as also shown here below)
