Sathya Sai Baba Deceptions Exposed

Exposing major deceits by guru Sathya Sai Baba in India, incl. murders cover-up & widely alleged sexual abuse

Lookback at some overlooked Sai Baba achievements

Here are some reminders of the very speckled career of the self-proclaimed Creator of the Universe, take your pick.
(The sexual abuses, murder involvement and bribery are not specified as such in this list)

Death of Sathya Sai Baba April 24th, 2011 Sai Baba stated many times that he would never age or suffer ill-health due to his “purity, patience and perseverance”. But for a decade before his very drawn-out organ failures and death pangs in 2011, he had been a wheel-chair invalid and he showed gradual loss of clear speech, visible signs of ageing, weight loss and other physical degeneration. The true cause of his death was covered up with a legally invalid death certificate stating he died of ‘heart failure’, despite massive weight loss and dysfunction of every major organ, while the stated day of his death was strongly contested (not least due to the ordering of his casket weeks before he was said to be dying).

Sathya Sai Baba made it up as he went along
The Russian Sathya Sai Forum reported in 2005 on how VIP devotees Rita and Robert Bruce spread an absurd story given them by Sai Baba in interview about major changes immediately after Sai Baba’s 80th birthday, which – of course – never took place. Same old story!

Miracle: Sai Baba spews out 3 tons of gold – he says! In front of th BBC cameras, Sai Baba collapsed after failing to do his lingam-vomiting trick, returning later to tell the crowds that it was because the small golden egg-lingam weighed three tons!

Fake “diamonds” & cheap baubles from Sathya Sai Baba Sathya Sai Baba claims to ‘materialize’ genuine diamonds, which he gives to some (mostly rich) followers. Indian ministers and various VIPs are seen wearing Sai Baba “diamond rings” in public! and important people flaunt these Sai Baba rings in public. But not one such ‘diamond’ has ever been attested to be genuine, but only found to be a cheap synthetic gemstone.

Magnetic farce – Sai Baba stuck to the ground? To cover-up his ill-health and need for hip replacement, Sai Baba claimed the cause of his walking problems was ‘divine magnetism’. Mother Earth was so attracted to him that his feet stuck to the ground. Even his whole body became ‘magnetic’ and everything stuck to it. Hilarious stuff.

Sai Baba caught in cheating about the Christian Bible At Christmas 2002, Sai Baba pretended to materialize a tiny Bible which he claimed to be unique, a text from 1530 AD designed to show the common features of all religions. But this was a Bible printed recently which is on sale on the Internet, and it a standard set of texts taken from the Bible, nothing more.

Sathya Sai Baba and the Turin shroud photos It has been claimed by many Sai followers that he took a black-and-white photo of the Turin shroud image, passed his hand over it and it became a colour image. No independent witnesses to this event or verifiable documentation is found. Belief in it is automatic to Organization members, who must believe that Sai Baba always sticks rigidly to truth and truthfulness!

Sai Baba (Baa-Baa Black Sheep) a misunderstood ‘Second Coming’ Sai Baba declared he is the one Jesus said would ‘come again’- that Jesus actually said ‘Baa-baa’, and that the Lamb of God and suchlike was a misunderstanding! Sai Baba has been widely acclaimed as the Cosmic Christ.

Sathya Sai Baba compared to the historical Jesus Though Sai Baba quotes Jesus and preaches some (but not all) of the same things, the recorded life and acts of Sai Baba bear NO comparison to those reported of Jesus of Nazareth. He needs armed guards, he lives in luxury, he hob-nobs with the rich and famous and mostly avoids the poor, especially the VERY poor. He eats in secret, not in public.

Sathya Sai Baba’s claims about Jesus Christ Sai Baba is held to be Jesus by many followers, and he has told that he is the Cosmic Christ to two UK devotees who published a book on it which he blessed. His claims to Divinity exceed those of any other known person, living or dead, but he has at the same time to plagiarise stating sayings by Gandhi, Vivekananda, Shivananda, Ramana Maharshi, and Ramakrishna as being his own!

Is India a Moral Engine and Social Ideal to Emulate? Sathya Sai Baba traces the problems of India and the world as essentially depending on ‘holy’ sacrificial rituals [‘yagnas’ and ‘yagas’] and holds that his reintroduction and promotion of these sacred acts make India the engine which will pull all the countries of the entire globe into a golden moral age. Seeing India’s problems and general moral condition today, this is unbelievable, nothing less.

The earth’s cool liquid soft-centre – Sai Baba’s “wisdom” At the ‘Deemed’ University – Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning’ oddly categorised as a “Deemed University” ( a real one?) ridiculous false information by Sai Baba about the earth is taught. He assures that the same [Divine Nonsense] is inculcated in every subject there!

Sai Baba Big Bluff – said that beings live in the sun! Sai Baba proclaimed: “In all the universe there is no other planet that has human life, or a similar life form”. Then proclaimed later “Elsewhere in the Universe, life feels it is Divinity”. Sai Baba often contradicts himself flatly on many major issues – followers choose which version they want to believe!

Global Warming or Global Wobbling  Geophysics will have to go through another paradigm shift, because Sathya Sai Baba, who has come to right the world and save humanity, reveals that piling of material on one side of the earth causes imbalance and hence earthquakes. After all, he is (self-proclaimed) God Incarnate and is omniscient, omnipotent and even more omnipresent than ever was Santa Claus.

The ‘wisdom’ of Sathya Sai Baba He held that students and others who “think too much” end up dying (“ultimately”) of indigestion. This is cutting-edge science from an omniscient being? However, he magnanimously attributes this medical breakthrough to none other than Aristotle, whose death he seems to think proves his point… indigestion. [Aristotle apprently thought too much (about indigestion) and so actually died of thinking.] Admittedly, Aristotle was a great and original thinker… but Sai Baba then?

Sai on World Catastrophe? Sai Baba has been reported numerous times as making predictions of a world catastrophe, especially in the privacy of interviews and the classroom from which he must know it would leak out. A ploy to bind people in fear to Sai Baba and his ashram, which was rumoured would be unaffected. Early on Sai Baba prophesied that he would have to lift a mountain range! He also made predictions of a pole shift and nuclear pollution in New Zealand – neither held water!

Apologist for Sai Baba The only top Sai official who has ever publicly mentioned the many allegations against Sai Baba – and then only after a period of six years had gone by – is Dr. G. Venkataraman. He has written a document full of cover-up and false statements aiming to refute the countless allegations against Sai Baba, which has been refuted in its entirety point by point with full documentation.

Dr. G. Venkataraman – the most gullible physicist? Claiming the Creator of the Universe “is in human form in Parthi”. Dr. G. Venkataraman breaks the rules of scholarly propriety by not quoting any sources from which he draws and even by plagiarizing text.

Religious Fraud and Whitewash in India
Taking donations from gullible and innocent people and ‘blood money’ from liquor barons etc., while using some of the funds to do social service was deplored by one of India’s leading website editors, A.R. Kanangi.
