V.K. Narasimhan, serious doubts at the heart of the ashram

Posted by robertpriddy on June 17, 2015

Since 2000 I refused to continue to observe Sai Baba’s directions to avoid absolutely all criticism of anyone but oneself. I reject the gag he imposed on followers – which they had also to  impose on themselves and others – and have been concerned only to tell the truth as it presented itself to me, whatever else I have believed and felt. I came to know very many important negative facts about Sathya Sai, his ashrams and organization, and not least from Sai Baba’s closest associate after biographer N. Kasturi, namely,  V.K. Narasimhan. This included information on the gravest kinds of criminal behaviour. Many others have, of course, made these discovery themselves and before I did. I admit to having experienced many instances of connected with Sathya Sai which are generally called ‘paranormal’, but I cannot say in honesty that these have proved fruitful for my life. I may have had some kind of indirect help from him, yet this is a matter of what one chooses to believe and not one of certainty as there is neither proof nor any confirmation from Sai Baba on it. Rather to the contrary, in fact. Gratitude I once felt for events that I then believed to be his doing – things for which I did much in return for about 18 years – has withered in the face of lies, deceits and worse in which he has been caught out.

I have written extensively about these revelations by my valued friend Narasimhan, who was one of India’s most awarded journalists and became editor of Sai Baba’s journal when his wife persuaded him to live at the ashram. These notes recorded his mostly private views, observations and doubts in various articles. To back up all this, I have published scans of my very extensive notebooks made after many of my long conversations with him through a decade. Links to some of these startling reports, all of which I certify were noted correctly to the best of my ability, are as follows:-

VKN trying hard to believe

V.K.N denied SB claims of omnipotence/omniscience, avatarhood etc.

VKN put under pressure to conform by Sai Baba

V.K.N.  on the murders cover-up etc.

V.K.N.’s inability to get Sai Baba to tell him the truth about the murders

V.K.N. on pointing out to Sai Baba his inconsistent teaching

V.K.N on suppression of facts at the ashrams

V.K. N. – faith-shaking revelations (Overview of VKN on murder cover-up)

Insider knowledge of Sai Baba from V.K. Narasimhan

Posted by robertpriddy on June 13, 2015

Transcript of notes made by me in 1990 after talking with close Sai Baba confidante, V.K. Narasimhan, covering Sai Baba’s boyhood visits to famous ‘saints’, Krishnamurti, his driver’s suicide, printing problems and more. Transcript in black, comments in purple:-

26/9/90 Morning darsan
N. took me off again ((note V.K. Narasimhan)) and we had a long talk in his room and more tiffin in the canteen etc. This was the most interesting for me to date. Subjects he covered included Annie Besant, Krishnamurti (i.e. K’s meeting with Baba who told him off for berating the Vedas, shastris and puranans etc. and asked him whether he knew them at all or understood them ‘why attack the faith of others?’ K. was told. Also why should not his (K’s books also be burned? What made them so different?’
(Comment: Only an ignoramus would fail to see what made Jiddu Krishnamurti’s writing VERY different from scriptures. He opposed all manner of religious speculation and superstition, and therefore saw the need to criticise ‘the faith of others’ which was so misleading and overall very deleterious to society and the individual)

N. told of his meeting K. following him for some time – then (when he was with Baba) how negatively K. reacted etc. to it. N. was also told by (?) Sai that he (Sai) had told Aurobindo that, by sleeping in the same room as the Mother, he was setting a bad example!
(Comment: What about the very bad example set by Sai Baba himself having young boys sleeping in his rooms, and even telling about it in discourses. Sheer hypocrisy! It is widely recognised that the flood of testimonies about his sexual use of males, students and visitors, is very well-founded)

Likewise, Ramana Maharshi had been reprimanded by the young Sai for not covering his body properly before all the people, including ladies, who came to see him. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was also told not to make money from spirituality! This was at a meeting in Bombay, most likely (not Puttaparthi). Comment: Talk of hypocrisy! Taking money for spirituality was Sai Baba’ greatest forte. It was ostensibly to serve the poor and suffering, educating them etc. ,but the vast amount went to magnificent building projects promoting Sai Baba himself – such as his huge birthday celebrations. Huge sums were embezzled by his own officials and entrepreneurs etc. while it is know that huge bribes were paid for cover-up operations and his personal security force. He also awarded new Japanese cars to five of his cronies and many other perks – residences etc. to others.

N. also talked about the possibility of an offset press for P.N. and the problem of management & a competent devoted leader, for whom Sai was waiting before setting up such an enterprise.
(Note: Later he also told me that an US devotee had sent an entire offset machine to SB at Brindavan, but it has stood in the rain for a year and was useless!)
The case of the driver: N. had never spoken of it to anyone but me before. Key points: (Over) Sensitive person may have taken comments by S,B. to heart too literally – he had killed a person by careless driving – tho’ warned three times previously about driving too fast/confidently by S.B.
(Comment: The driver had been excluded by the ashram, was denied to speak to Sai Baba and had no other means of livelihood. He set fire to himself under a statue of Shiva in the Hillview Stadium area).
N. also ‘compared’ with other incidents: Sai’s punishment of Kasturi for a fault warned about 3 times – breaking faith with the Telugu San. Sarathi once published verbatim Sai saying, during a discourse, that a son who went against his father’s wished could just as well be poisoned for it. It had been, said S.B., specifically intended only for a man in the audience who had actually just poisoned his son & who was suffering terrible guilt for it. This passage was left out by Narasimhan in th English version! (Note: The Telugu version had printed it and suffered the wrath of Sai Baba)
N. also related about his visit to U.K. & Parliament in 1953 with Churchill. (Note: He heard Churchill speak, but did not meet him)

Also, yesterday about his editor son’s trip to Moscow to Gorbachev together with India’s President. And the reaction to his articles. So positive that the Russian embassy wants them in book form etc. (Note: Later his son, V.K. Narayanan, who I met a few times, committed a major fault – he was disgraced for plagiarism of Brian Appleyard’s column in the Sunday Times, whereby he lost his entire employment and once very high-flying career in journalism.)

Has Satya Sai Baba been reborn? – Part 2

The newslady gives a recap about the boy named Preetam, declared as Prema Sai. She says some believe and some say there should be an announcement by the Trust if it is really true.
1:00, Newsman Lakshmi Kanth reports from Puttaparthi: he asks a lady selling flowers what she thinks, does she accept the boy as Prema Sai? She said if he comes here than she’ll have faith, not before. She keeps repeating that she won’t believe until she sees him in person.
2:43, A foreigner is asked if she believes. She explains in English that she believes in time that he will really come but for now, she just believes in the Prema Sai in her heart.

Comment: The female Australian visitor at Prashanthi in a prawn-coloured sari carrying a bunch of roses (a passable ‘blind believing foreign devotee phenotype’) declared her certainty that Sai Baba is the triple avatar incarnation and said ‘the energy is here’ but didn’t know if ‘the embodiment’s here, But it will come’. She added ‘Aren’t we all Prema Sai? Aren’t we all god?’ The answer to that is ‘no more than we are all human, all universal energy, all nothing, all everything’ (See discussion here)

An elderly Indian devotee is asked if he believes. He says Prema Sai should be born after the 96th year of Sathya Sai, not before. He thinks what is happening now is all for money. He mentions other scams that happened with some guy near Hindupur and another on the way to Bangalore (indicating Muddenahalli?). Those who believe are stupid, he says.

5:33, Mother Tejamani is brought on again, to ask her (in Kannada) about what Puttaparthi devotees think. She says she is also watching and won’t fully believe until a few years has passed and if the boy does miracles as promised.
The news people agree she is an innocent, honest woman and the whole drama is concocted by the Manipur devotees and Srinivas. The talk about how even her head could be turned by the adoration of the devotees and the special privileges they will get.
8:52, Anil Kumar finally comes on, the newslady asks about his first reaction. He says first he was surprised and all the devotees are eager and expectant about Prema Sai coming and are jumping to conclusions too quickly. He praises the cute little, normal boy and the innocent mother. He says each needs to have their experience and not just believe in what others say. He says based on what the mother says and how the boy acts, he has serious doubts about him being Prema Sai.

14:44, They try to get Anil Kumar to ask Srinivas questions but apparently the audio isn’t working, Anil Kumar cannot hear what the studio peopleare saying. Instead, discussion amongst the guests in the studio ensues. The commentator lady suggests they consider that this might really be true; we have heard of a ‘child progeny’, is it possible that he is one? One consultant guy says it may be possible to consider if he takes after one of his parents, say if the parents are good looking, the child may get those traits too. But, it is a mistake to think he can just get special qualities saying it is from some past life.
15:30, Another guy says even the boy’s own parents accept that there’s nothing special in him. What’s happening is all because of the pressure of others coming in and declaring that he’s god. They want benefits after declaring him as special. If he is special, he can declare himself later on. The lady agrees, why is everyone pushing the announcement now instead of waiting?

17:38, TV Rao is introduced and asked for his opinion. He says in the Hindu religion there is no mention of man being god. Sathya Sai is all about tricking the public. The Central Trust is behind all these attempts to fool the public. The lady says the Trust hasn’t announced anything about Preetam being Prema Sai. Rao says that is just a secret, after some time they will agree and promote this Prema Sai.
>19:50, Anil Kumar asserts that the Trust has no opinion about this so far, as far as he knows. The lady asks if he believes that when Prema Sai really comes, will an official announcement come through? He says NO. He said the Trust is all about maintaining the org and ashram as it is now, but they have no spiritual authority to announce when Prema Sai comes.
21:50, Anil continues that there’s nothing happening now that could help people make the decision about the boy Preetam. After he is 9 years old and people have a chance to come into personal touch with him, then we can see. (Audio problems continues, it seems like someone is conveying the questions to Anil Kumar after the newslady speaks them.)
Anil says that people come and form their own opinions after seeing and even worshipping the boy in person. Other than that, belief doesn’t just come from hearing from afar.
23:20, The lady asks if Anil Kumar believes that Sathya Sai said he would be reborn at a certain time, in a certain place. Anil says Sathya Sai never said such a thing and as long as he was alive, this question did not come up. About 20-30 years back, he said Prema Sai will be born. After a few years, he also said that Prema Sai MAY be born in Karnataka. He also said Shirdi was the embodiment of Shiva, Sathya Sai was Shiva-Shakti, and Prema Sai will be the embodiment of Shakti. Now 30 or 300 people may come to worship because others declared he was an avatar. I could even declare my own grandson as one, then the same thing might happen!
25:09, The lady asks how the name of the village Doddamallur came to be known? Sathya Sai never said anything like, “I will born there, I will be in a village, these will be his parents, I will show the boy when he comes”. Anil Kumar says, I am speaking what I feel only. Right now, according to Sathya Sai’s teachings, this life is enough, there’s no need for Prema Sai. What is known and making the life blessed is the goal of life, that is what I feel.

(Comment: Anil Kumar once again displays his complete ignorance of the Sai Baba literature, Kasturi’s and Sai Baba’s own statements. See here)

26:28, Narendra says he does not believe in rebirth. However, there is another research being done and he’s interested in that but as of now, he doesn’t believe. If there is rebirth then how to decide whether one is born again as a human or as a dog? The commentator lady says according to one’s actions it is said one has rebirth. Narendra says what about a dog that just lives its life, it doesn’t sin. Then how to say it is born again according to its actions?
28:53, Asks that if the human birth is the highest, then what comes after a human birth? Ramesh answers there is no past or future births. When a baby is born, it is only related to the mother and seed of the father.
30:26, Takes a phone call from USA from Chaitanya, he is asked how he feels about the news of Sathya Sai being born again. He says it makes him laugh a lot. He says people can say anything but how can we believe. He says there is nothing after death, what is left over after the body dies? Nothing is left. He says Sathya Sai told many lies and deceived the public in many ways. Several people were killed in his bedroom, due to political clout nothing came of it and no one was punished. Sathya Sai is dead and it is impossible for him to come again. It is nonsense, not only with Sai Baba, but no one is born again. If they would have arrested Sathya Sai then the truth would have come out.
33:03, The lady asks him a final question, saying people are worshipping and believing in the boy, others from Andhra might go and worship there, what is his advice? He says, there is no support for the claims and no honesty, don’t have faith. This is not based on scripture. There’s no scientific method. It is a mistake, don’t do it.

334:36, Asks Vishnu Vardhan what he thinks of that. He gives a message to all the believers and nonbelievers. He says Sathya Sai has devotees in every country, took millions of dollars and even now so much service to society is being done. He mentions the water projects. He says think about the Hindu Dharma, some of you have doubt about Sathya Sai but so much service as been done. You speak a lot but why haven’t you done service to society like that? (He goes on passionately about them speaking against Hinduism when so many bad people exist in all religions.)

38:10, Ramesh mentions several unrelated subjects in quick succession: holy man doing this or that in various villages, then says we aren’t talking about them. We’re on one subject here. Shirdi Sai Baba didn’t want anyone to worship him. Science says there’s no reincarnation. You mentioned about all the service done by Sathya Sai, why didn’t you mention about the murders that happened and why no one was punished for what happened? There’s a child in the village that they are presenting as Prema Sai, the reincarnation of Sathya Sai. Talk about that and not other things. Do you believe in him or not? Just concentrate on one thing here. There are so many so-called holy men who have deceived the public, but you defend the whole thing like a dog trying to bite everyone. There’s definitely no past lives. So many people try to make excuses, saying that people are in bad situations because of what they did in past lives, saying past lives, saying karma. Is that boy Prema Sai or not?

42:24, The Newslady says, I am making it very clear, the question here is not whether or not there are past lives or whether Sathya Sai was god or not. You are seeing this small boy, do you believe he is Prema Sai or not? Vishnu Vardhan explains just because someone says that a person is someone, it cannot be believed. (He goes on at length saying if someone calls themselves Bin Laden or Stalin it doesn’t make it true.)

44:12, The newslady asks if it is true that the public can be influenced in their beliefs if a boy is worshipped and treated special? He goes on about people doing service to society like Vivekananda, etc. (He does not answer the question whether he believes or not directly, so the newslady cuts him off and goes back to Anil Kumar, asking his final thoughts.)

45:36, Anil Kumar answers directly that he can’t accept that the boy is Prema Sai. He says present is built on the past and the present is the basis for the future. The great works done, the teachings of Sathya Sai, you have to pay attention to that. He helped numerous people. Think of that Sathya Sai, the water project, the great works… (Anil Kumar talks on and on, the lady cuts him off and thanks him for being on with them live.)

47:50, She asks Ramesh what he feels will happen in the future. He says based on the boy and the mother talking with him, they are innocent and have nothing to do with it. The Manipur devotees and Srinivas are pushing the worship of the boy and promosing to build a temple. I have seen many of such cases, of them changing the lives of small innocent kids. I can also teach the boy how to do magic tricks if you leave him with me for a couple of months. I am afraid what they will teach him ashe grows. There is selfishness behind what they are doing. What is the need of taking that boy to Manipur and promising to build a temple? People will always believe and follow if someone declares something.

51:36, Asks TV Rao for his final thoughts. God being born, God dying, God being reborn, these subjects aren’t even present in Hinduism. Only people who do bad things have to come back, good people go to heaven. The subject of God being born again, we need to blame the people who declare that, not naive innocent people. Shirdi Sai was a Muslim, they made him a Hindu Baba, then Sathya Sai comes putting the symbols of all religions like Christian and Muslim, students aren’t studying in his schools for free, they are paying fees. If we want to protect the Hindu religion then first of all, we need to stop supporting such cheaters who amass millions of dollars.

53:45, Asks Srinivas for his final thoughts, whether he still believes the boy is Prema Sai. He starts by quoting Sankarcharya, that there are births and deaths again and again. It’s an authentic statement. Sathya Sai told many devotees he’d be born again and he declared he would be born in that village. Even foreigners believe in Prema Sai and come to India looking for him.

55:17, Narendra is asked what he finally thinks. He says the boy should be taken to a safe quiet place then he’ll be OK, otherwise left like this to be influenced by people who come to worship him and coached by the Manipur devotees, can’t tell what will happen.

The newslady ends by expressing fear what will happen as he grows older. All needs to wait until he is 9 years old, right now there are no answers to the questions and no foundation for belief of Prema Sai being born again as the boy Preetam.

Prema Sai’s place and time of birth controversy

Posted by robertpriddy on June 8, 2015

The alleged reincarnation of Sathya Sai Baba has been reported conflictingly as taking place immediately after his death, one year later, or eight years later!” In the Richard Bock film, ‘Aura of Divinity’, made in the 1970s, the commentator asserts that Sathya Sai Baba has said that he will be reborn as Prema Sai eight years after his leaving the Sathya Sai body. The former Central Coordinator of UK, Sai Baba hagiographer Lucas Ralli, wrote that Sathya would rebirth one year after his death.

According to several pro-Sai sources, Sathya Sai Baba clearly stated that he would be reborn in Doddamalur, 20 kms. due North Mandya District of Karnataka, as reported in most pro-Sai sources. Yet several writers had already long since reported Sai Baba repeatedly having said that  the future birthplace of Prema Sai would be Gunapalli (or Gunaparthi) on the banks of the River Cauvery in Mandya District, such as Shakuntula Balu in her book ‘Living Divinity’ (Sai Towers Publishing, 1981).

India Today on the net wrote on December 4, 2000, the following:- “…Sai Baba’s future plans. He has predicted that he will die in 2022 and, eight years later, be reborn in Gunaparthi village of Karnataka’s Mandya district to a woman called Kasturi. His next avatar will be called Prema Sai Baba and will have nothing to do with Puttaparthi.” (

Yet more conflicting testimony exists. In a lecture for foreigners in January 1985 at Prashanthi Nilayam which I attended,  Sai Baba’s biographer, Professor  N. Kasturi , told us that, while driving in his car with him past a small village called Chandrapatna in Karnataka State (some 38 kms South West of Bangalore), Sai Baba said to him that he would ”take rebirth” there and that Kasturi would be his mother! This was also published by Kasturi who disarmingly suggested it may have just been said in fun. (One can add that Kasturi was careful not to promote his own ego too much as he had suffered greatly from Sai Baba’s anger before) , and was also stated on April 28, 2011, by The Times of India (Bangalore) i.e. days after the funeral. According to Ramadas, who runs a Krishna charitable trust, Prema Sai will be born in this village after 2023, as predicted by Sathya Sai Baba. “Ramadas said Baba had predicted that his personal assistant, Narayan Kasturi, who died long ago, will reincarnate himself as a woman in a village near Bhadravathi, marry a person from this village and give birth to Prema Sai. “Today you are my assistant, in the next life you will be my mother,” Sai Baba is supposed to have said.” (

Prema Sai child – overview of Telugu news video

Posted by robertpriddy on June 5, 2015

The announcement on Telugu TV9 that Prema Sai has been located in Doddamalur – despite the assurance that Sathya Sai baba gave that he would be unknown until teenage, can surely only increase the acrimonious rivalry between the various factions fighting for the Sai Baba brand and all that it brings with it to those who succeed. Our Telugu translator writes:- The poor boy, his life will be changed forever, his personality will be shaped and probably not for the better. The mother seems very naive, innocent and honest. We can expect coaching will be added to their education, especially if those will ulterior motives join the fray. (The father was not in the video, at least not in the 50 of the 75 min)

Here are the highlights:

1. A spiritual guru named Vijaya Devi from the state of Manipur in India, sent several of her devotees to Doddamallur village in Karnataka, where sb said he would be born as Prema Sai. She told them how to test the children in the village to see who was the avatar.

(Comment: It is typical of gurus who are always seeking to enhance their fame and following, not least finance and power, to use crafty ploys. What better idea than to announce the advent of Prema Sai, for whom so many desperate devotees of Sathya are waiting to appear?

2. The men rented space in the home of Dr Srinivas (the elderly guy in white in the video). Dr Srinivas told them about a devotee named ‘Swami’ who came to the village and revealed that he had a dream about Prema Sai being born, including the signs. The devotee ‘Swami’ met the declared Prema Sai and said he matched the signs in his dream (it is unclear whether this devotee came before or after the Manipur devotees picked the boy).

3. The Manipur devotees went house to house in the village, meeting all the young boys of the right age (born after sb died) and testing them. One of the tests is for the devotees to repeat a mantra, if the boy mouthed the words along with him. The chosen boy, named ‘Preetam’ passed all the tests. He was born in June 2012.

Comment:- This is a predictable game: the least likely are eliminated until there is one left, so he must be the one. What a parody of spirituality!

4. The boy Preetam’s mother is named Tejamani and works in a garment factory. The father is named Mahesh and he is a salesman. They are a poor family.

5. Manipur devotees financed a trip to take the parents and the boy to guru Vijaya Devi in Manipur, where the boy laid the foundation stone of a temple and received the ardent worship of devotees. There are plans to build a temple in Doddamallur village also. Scenes of the plane trip, a hysterically crying guru Vijaya Devi (of happiness, I assume), bhajans, worship of the feet and a sullen and mystified-looking boy Preetam.

6. Dr Srinivas seems incapable of answering simple questions, instead he rambles on about other things. He finally admits that the reason he has 100% faith in the boy, is because the Manipur devotees seem honest and he trusts them.

Comment: This is risible! That is how 100% faith is delivered. But any such belief is a prison, one which will entrap many who get indoctrinated and, above all, steal all hope of a normal life from this chil.

7. Life interview with the mother of the boy, who says there have been no signs or miracles. It is stressed this is the “starting” and at the age of 8, the boy will ‘manifest’ as Prema Sai, show miracles and start his mission. It was not mentioned how they got this info. Preetam also came on live, he was squirming a lot and looked bored.

Comment: The test will be whether this bored and squirming boy will reproduce the kind of impossible Krishna child miracles as it was claimed by zealous and deeply superstitious villagers in Puttaparti claimed the child Sathya Narayana did. There will, of course, be no independent investigators or scientists allowed near him, as the mythology must be developed by the cadres around him so that their financial futures are secured.

The video includes conversations with two psychiatrists, one an ardent devotee (who does past-life regression) and the other who does not believe in the boy nor in reincarnation, telling of the dangers inherent of worshipping a small boy as god.

Past-life regression is a total scam. It does not even merit the title of pseudo-science since there is not even any attempts at a single figment of scientific testing involved by its practitioners. They are all doubtless either confused and deluded, however unwitting they may be, or else they are outright charlatans.

Prema Sai is found?

Posted by robertpriddy on June 3, 2015

What Sathya Sai Baba told about the coming of Prema Sai, as his next and final third incarnation as avatar was somewhat conflicting. Nonetheless, he was adamant that Prema Sai would not be known to the world in his childhood and would emerge later when mature enough. Since Prema Sai should be born anything from 1 to 8 years after the demise of Sathya was the time frame he gave. Since he died in 2011, this indicated that Prema Sai could not emerge until at least 14 years later, that is not before about 2025 at the earliest. He would look like the image based on that on a ring given by Sathya Sai Baba to John Hislop:-

There were several supposed  ‘official stories” accepted during the lifetime of Sathya. In the official Sai literature, Baba was reported as having given on different occasions two different places for the birth. In a lecture for foreigners in January 1985 at Prashanthi Nilayam which I attended Sai Baba’s biographer N. Kasturi told us that, while driving with him past a small village called Chandrapatna in Karnataka State (some 38 kms South West of Bangalore), Sai Baba said to him that he would ”take rebirth” there and that Kasturi would be his mother! (Kasturi also published this in one of his many writings).  Another account was that he would incarnate in Doddamalur (see Times of India scan: Further, in his book ‘Srl Sathya Sai Saba and the Future of Mankind‘, SP Ruhela, asserted that Prema Sai will live from 2030 to 2116 and gave various new details about the coming incarnation. Another prediction widely believed in was:-

The official ‘stories’ all called for considerable adjusting because of the premature death of Sathya Sai Baba in 2011! None of the various conflicting predictions Sathya Sai Baba made as to his lifespan (i.e. from 92 to 96 years of age) held up. This failure threw into disarray all the predictions Baba made of the time frames to his return in the incarnation as Prema Sai Baba. Not surprising to those who know the manipulations of fact and faulty propaganda spread by Sai Baba and all his various institutions through the decades. At his unexpected death, disappointed officials and zealots made the specious claim that Sai Baba DID live to be 96 if one reckons in terms of lunar years. However, none of the calculations based on lunar months (as opposed to calendar months) agreed with any of the various dates he had predicted. Nor does the lunar theory fit with what he clearly stated in 1960 “I will be in this mortal form for 59 years” and in 1961 “I shall be in this body for 58 years more“. (Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. I –  p 198 & Vol 2 – p. 92).

Despite that, since shortly after Sathya’s funeral, various people already began announcing the discovery of Prema Sais here and there. Prominent among these is the Muddenahalli ‘oracle boy’ Madhusudana (aka Sukshma Baba) who began to cough up sivalingams on Shivarathri and has stated that he is himself Prema Sai! All pretence that Sukshma Baba (former Sai student Madhusudan) is merely an instrument or ‘oracle boy’ is finally dropped. He had reinvented himself as Sathya Sai Baba, no less, who read the text proclaiming this  and approved it! At the same time he is pretending he is Prema Sai Baba. Two for the price of one! In Issue Seventy One – April 16, 2017 of the  Muddenahalli propaganda magazine, one can read the following:-
See Prema Sai at Muddenahalli, former Sai student is half-enthroned there

Read more on Prema Sai Prema Sai predicted as third Sai Baba incarnation

One fanciful example of the Prema Sai scams was presented as follows:-

They are doing pujas…they are doing bhajans…they are giving arathi..They are doing ground-breaking ceremonies for a new temple, they are filled with emotion. On one side is a statue of Sathya Sai Baba, on the other side they are falling on the ground full-body, doing namaskar (shastanga namaskar) to a boy. It’s been a long 4-year wait, but finally, the first ‘REAL’ Prema Sai, a boy who is 3 years old! This is from a 75-minute Telugu Video Has Satya Sai Baba reborn? – Part 1 – Tv9

The playing field is already filling up with this new challenge to the two factions which are warring for the Sai Baba brand. (Prashanthi Nilayam vs. Muddenahalli). Give it a few more years and there certainly will be yet more Prema Sais, more ambitious rival factions fighting to get on the gravy train. The poor boy, his life will be changed forever, his personality will be shaped and probably not for the better. Out translator says: “The mother seems very naive, innocent and honest. I expect coaching will be added to their education, especially if those will ulterior motives join the fray. This is Hinduism’s ugly side, the grotesque, ugly and deluded religious guru-fanaticism.”

1:05: It’s been four years since Sathya Sai Baba took his last breath; this boy was born over a year after he left the body. People are worshipping the feet of this boy. What is really happening here? What is this devotion and happenings? Where is this happening? Was Sathya Sai born again, is Prema Sai born again?
2:14, Lady commentator comes on and says basically what is written above.
(Scenes of the village) This is a village in Karnataka. Beautiful village, peaceful minds (etc).
3:02, A villager talks about how five people came from Manipur to their village and went house to house searching. (Commentator:) They searched for about two and a half months. They carefully looked at each small child. Villagers had doubt and even wondered if they wanted to kidnap a child. They finally asked the group what they were doing.
3:47, They group from Manipur said their guru told them to come to this village and search, because Sathya Sai was born again.
4:11, The boy was born in June last week in 2012 (4:33, scenes of the five guys from Manipur). The group from Manipur declared that without a doubt, this boy was Prema Sai Baba. (Commentator describes the history of devotees believing in the 3rd Sai avatar, including him declaring he’d be born in Doddamallur village in Karnataka.)
5:59, One of the Manipur guys speaks in Hindi about searching for Prema Sai. Commentator: The boy fulfilled all the tests that the Manipur guru asked them to perform on young boys in the village.

6:28, Lady Commentator asks questions about who exactly is the boy, who was he born to, etc. Some history and info on Sathya Sai follows, complete with all the heresy about his miracles etc. (Video withdrawn from YouTube)

Yet another claimant to the Prema Sai brand name went to town with his own absurd promotional campaign:-

Sai Baba did no real work, all was provided free to him

Posted by robertpriddy on June 1, 2015

“People may think that Swami is having a number of servants to do his work. I do not need anybody to serve Me; I do not expect any service from others.”

(Sathya Sai Baba: Sanathana Sarathi Sept. 2003, p 267)

What a shameless statement! Lies, exaggerations and rough generalizations by Sai Baba, the usual disrespect of facts to present himself as what he was not. This is just one example of an obvious lie! Every devotee has seen with his/her own eyes and also read about how Sai Baba constantly gets and demands personal service from his devotees! Even his humble devotee Smt Vijaya Kumari writes that the slightest oversight with regard to arrangements for his meals would provoke Sai Baba into a fit of anger.) Surely no one believes that Sai Baba makes his own meals, does his own laundry, shops for anything, services his own cars or dozens of other tasks anyone else must carry out? Any of the majority of Indians in poverty would be in a seventh heaven to have a had a small fraction of what he received, without having to lift a finger other than to pretend to confer ‘divine’ blessings and the like.servants

“Since my childhood I have been respecting everybody. Today the whole world is respecting Me.”
(Sanathana Sarathi Sept. 2003, ibid)

Certainly all those sexually abused boys don´t feel that Sai Baba has given them their respect. and neither do the families and friends of the four young men executed in his apartment in 1993 with his approval. The whole world certainly doesn’t respect him! But the majority of the people in the world have not even heard about him….

A person is judged by both his words and his actions. In countless discourses he set up himself as the only perfect example for all to follow, but he could not refrain from angry lies and scandal-mongering on Christmas Day 2000, he who always pretended that he was so even-minded and beyond praise and blame that he never reacted! There was the continual ‘Me, Me, Me’ in all his discourses. Just look in any volume… yet he told us he was selfless, needed no praise and at the same time warned others that speaking of one’s good deeds makes them as if valueless. he who always pretended that he was so even-minded and beyond praise and blame that he never reacted…

“Those who have true love in their heart will not indulge in tall talk.”

Yet he railed about how critics did not realise that no one anywhere is doing even one thousandth of the work he does (in his infamous Xmas Discourse in 2000). That was the apex of self-praising talk tall?
He certainly provided a mountain of self-praise and talk about “My” work, achievements etc.! That anyone cannot see this deceit would be incredible, but for the tremendous, subtle brain-washing that people underwent and engaged in themselves, without realising it. He basked in praise of himself in every shape and form, and spoke of himself as if he were yet more self-sacrificing than any propertyless sannysin, yet lived the life of Riley lacking absolutely nothing he desired without doing any actual work other than walking about to be admired, holding endless self-praising interviews, discourses and performing formal rituals etc. And he had the insolence to proclaim ‘My Life is My Message’ as if he was a perfect example. (Even those words were stolen from Gandhi, on whose tomb they are inscribed!)

Gratitude a cardinal requirement

“Ever be grateful even for a small help. Do not be ungrateful. Ingratitude is utter cruelty.”
(Sai Baba – in a discourse published in Sanathana Sarathi June 2002, p. 166-7)

He talked a lot about gratitude, how important it is to be grateful to God… that even dogs show more gratitude than men and so on. He clearly expected, therefore, that one should be everlastingly grateful to him for anything he might do or seem to do for us… and even for our personal existence! Yet he never expressed anything seeming like gratitude, other than his acceptance or supposed blessings to followers. Sai Baba was a master at presenting himself as being beyond all human understanding for thousands of years, infinitely perfect, loving, compassionate, pure, chaste, and utterly harmless. That has turned out to be a massive sham very far from the truth. He was no doubt thinking not least of ingratitude to himself for all the vast service he pretended he did. What did it cost him to do whatever he claimed he did? What kind of a personal sacrifice did it really involve? If he had the entire universe in his hand, as he boasted, and was unaffected by anything that happened, why did he also crave gratitude and willingly accept worship and praise galore? His being in a body was not worse that it is for anyone (unless at the end!), much better in fact, for he lived in a thoroughly protected environment basking in worship all day long with every mortal need fulfilled by his followers (from food to clothing, luxurious shelter and transport, and not forgetting daily satisfaction of his sex drive).
