Sathya Sai Baba’s death and ‘mahasamadhi’

Posted by robertpriddy on May 6, 2011

In their understandable desperation to believe in the divinity of Sathya Sai Baba, countless hysterical Indian followers – not least the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and other ‘luminaries’ are deathly silent about the fact that Sathya Sai Baba’s death was totally unlike those India has previously required of its holy men and women when they supposedly ‘leave the body by free will’ and allegedly “merge with the infinite”. (i.e. when they die, in sensible parlance). Not only did Sai Baba become more and more haggard and catatonic looking at least from his 85th birthday onwards, but he died because of multiple organ failure after being disconnected from his life support system. Nothing yogic, nothing saintly, nothing remotely holy or divine about that!

Nor did he die when he predicted he would, despite all the diverse attempts to recalculate his age according to lunar (rather than calendar or solar) years. The results the various ‘Vedic experts’ produce differ from one another and also differ from the two different times of death Sai Baba is documented as having stated. Rationalizations of the clownish ‘mental gymnastic’ sort – including affronts to simple arithmetic – are concocted to mislead the despondent believer back into the faith of the fold. The official Sai website reckoned SB was 94.4 lunar years old at death, which is way off the 93 or the 96 years of age he predicted in his various published discourses! The official disinformation is propelled by the matter of big money… the more who doubt or leave Sai Baba, the less that will flow into the huge coffers. This will mean the closure of many of the projects  that devotees have developed in the name of Sai Baba, who loved to take ALL the credit for all of it, which he just sat on his wheelchair and spouted moralizing words repeatedly all his adult life). It reportedly will also affect many schools that hijacked the name so as to siphon off donations from foreign devotees (see Times of India here).

Looking at the physical condition of Sathya Sai Baba on his last birthday (that was, incidentally, blazoned everywhere as his 85th year, no less!) one can see that he is nowhere near matching up to his repeated boasts that he would never show signs of age, that he would always be healthy. If multiple organ failure – heart, lungs, kidneys and liver – amounts to good health in any shape or form or his depressed hangdog face to youthful appearance then I could be a hoary Ayurvedic medicine man… and with brass knobs on too! Queen Elizabeth is an 85-year old picture of health and a massively respected world figure, known to everyone. Not so Sathya Sai Baba, who not only boasted he was in line for the Nobel Peace Prize (which he never got nor ever remotely qualified for it) but made massive unfulfilled claims:-

In the days ahead, the whole world will be obliged to come to Prashanthi Nilayam(p. 320 Sanathana Sarathi December 1991)
The whole world will be transformed into Sathya Sai Organisation and Sathya Sai will be installed in the hearts of one and all.(Sanathana Sarathi, January 1999 – page 16)
“You are going to witness the divine glory of Swami unfolding in the days to come. He will attract the whole world. There won’t be place for people to stand even. You can see it for yourself, what a great change has occurred during the last one month! All are getting attracted to Swami.Discourse 16 March 2003.
“Very soon, the entire world will be united. In fact, after 28 years, the world itself will become “Bharat”. Everyone will call themself a Bharatiya (one imbued with godliness — Bhagavat rathas). No one will refer to themself as belonging to this state or that state, this region or that region.”

“In fact, there is no trace of hatred or enmity in Me at any time. I love all. That is why everyone loves Me.” (Sathya Sai Speaks Vol. 36, p- 86 Discourse 06/05/2003) “… nobody is against me. Everyone loves and none hates me.” (p. 262)
That is not true for a start as there are plenty who express otherwise on the Internet!

THIS AGAIN SHOWS THE FALSE PREDICTION AND INORDINATE BOASTING ABOUT HIMSELF. AND HOW THE MIGHTY HAS FALLEN!

Sathya Sai Baba News – Funeral problems

Posted by robertpriddy on April 26, 2011

The funeral ceremony caused massive disturbances of one kind and another. Due to the Indian authorities’ total disregard of the well-being of the populace, which was demonstrated by their usual ultra-tight security arrangement for VVIPs, those in Puttaparthi were cynically left without food or drink!
Here is the report from The Times of India, Apl 26:-

“…confusion pervades beyond the gates of the Central Trust. While thousands of devotees keep pouring into Puttaparthi to wait in queues stretching up to 2-3 kms for that last glimpse, there appears to be little co-ordination between the Central Trust and the cops on how to handle the surge. “All they are interested are VVIPs and VIPs. We commoners are left to fend for ourselves,” said Kutumba Rao who has come from Rajahmundry. It was the same story for a majority of over one lakh devotees who had reached Puttaparthi by Monday evening.
The consideration for VIP security hasn’t helped matters: Even milk vans have not been allowed to enter the town since Sunday night. Hotels, canteens, eateries, shops and other business establishments have also been shut. “We are helpless. The devotees are thirsty and hungry but we cannot serve them as everything is shut. There is no milk to serve even tea,” said L Rajeev, a hotel manager.
A senior police officer said: “What can we do. VVIP bandobast is mandatory. All top functionaries are coming. So, many roads have been closed.” Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi are expected on Tuesday. Many other chief ministers are also expected.

Cops blame Trust for chaos at Puttaparthi: With VIPs queuing up to pay respects to Sai Baba, thousands of ordinary devotees and locals of the town have been left to fend for themselves with the extremely tight bandobast leaving them without essential commodities like food, water and a roof over their heads for an overnight stay.
The cops were also left clueless on how to manage the surge of devotees at the Sai Kulwant Hall. They blamed the Trust members for the mess. “We along with the district collector had told the Trust members to organise the darshan at the Hill View stadium. But they did not heed to our request. The stadium has a capacity of 50,000 and in his lifetime all big events, including his birthday, were celebrated there. Sai Kulwant Hall has limited capacity and has no proper entry and exit routes. Hence, huge lines spill on to the road. And since the roads are narrow, we had to close the shops.” Trust sources, however, said that it wasn’t practical to keep the body in an open stadium in this heat.”

Meanwhile, the struggle for predominance over the multi-billion dollar fortune left behind by the self-professed ‘penniless’ Sathya Sai Baba who owned no property (but for a literal township and more) and over for what it will be used in future, is not in the public eye – bad taste while the burial is progressing. The strongest apparent contender namely Satyajit (a Tamil) is keeping a low profile away from the throngs and is under police protection.

ECONOMIC TIMES – IANS, Apr 25, 2011, 02.53pm IST HYDERABAD: “The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust will meet to take some key decisions after Sathya Sai Baba’s last rites Wednesday, with his death leaving a big question mark on the future of his massive spiritual empire estimated to be worth Rs.40,000 crore. With Sathya Sai Baba passing away Sunday, the trust will decide on how to carry forward its activities and who should lead it as Baba has apparently not named a successor.”

The Magic Silver Box: On top of all the excitement, it is hilarious that no less a figure than the Solicitor General of India stands forth to vouchsafe to India his Baba dream… one which proved again that Baba dreams are products of one’s own mind and have not truth in them at all. The Times of India takes up the story…
“Sunday night, Sathya Sai Baba appeared in the dream of solicitor general of India Gopal Subramaniam and told him to search his bedroom in the residential Yajur Mandir complex. “There is a silver box. Open it and you will find detailed instructions on how to run the Sai Central Trust, ” Subramanian claimed the Baba told him in the dream. The first thing that Subramaniam did on Monday morning was to tell the Trust members about the dream. The cops were summoned to open the residential complex which had been sealed since last week after allegations that “valuables” from being stolen from there. A team led by DIG Charu Sinha entered the Baba’s spartan bedroom but found nothing. “There was a bed, a chair and a medicine chest. But there was no silver box or any documents or will of the Baba,” a cop told TOI.”

Swami Nityananda salutes Sathya Sai Baba - two of a kind

SEX ABUSE CHARGED NITYANANDA
, WORSHIPS A ‘ROLE MODEL’!

There were protests from many devotees of Sathya Sai Baba when the news came out that Swami Nityananda of sex abuse fame was said to be coming to the funeral. But to no avail. What does this tell us about India? Nityananda was allowed to walk alone to do his pranams to the coffin contents, the same way as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi did at the same ceremony. What does this tell about India? Nowhere else could this be allowed! Nithyananda told the CBI “I am not a man” and gave preposterous answers to some of the questions, as one might expect by someone caught red-handed on video! Letting him strut his stuff prominently before the TV and massed crowds of VVIPs and some rich devotees who all want to distance themselves from even a stray thought about sexual abuse was an affront to all devotees and must have been uncomfortable for the heads of State! Is this not a telling sign about morality in Indian ‘spiritual circles’.

Anyone in doubt about the massed testimony and compelling circumstantial evidence that Sathya Sai Baba was a major sexual abuser can find all here

Sai Baba allegedly drugged by his boyfriend Satyajit

Posted by robertpriddy on April 26, 2011

The can of worms is opening further and disgusting evidence is crawling out! Read further to learn what could never be hidden for ever! As has been evident to independently minded observers for a long time, as I have repeatedly pointed out for several years in these blogs, Sai Baba has been degenerating since soon after his botched hip-joint replacement in 2003. It became almost impossible not to notice – at least since the 85th birthday – that Sathya Sai Baba appeared almost like a wooden idol, and he looked as if he was sedated then. Never a smile crossed his face – he who claimed he always kept a smiling face and berated those with ‘castor oil’ faces’! That he broke down and cried in public on his birthday (see brief video) – an act he has always called weakness – rather underlined the point that he was in depression rather than anything approaching his former self. Now some of the facts of the matter are already emerging, and it is NOT a pretty story. His close boyfriend and roommate Satyajit allegedly administered an unknown number of sleeping pills and sedatives to him over a long period, some have said six months, and he was reportedly in full control of Sai Baba, his food and anyone who could get near to him. Apparently, the love Sai Baba practised had its own special prison! Here is episode one:

Late Satya Sai Baba’s trusted follower of 15 years, Yatish Salian alias Satyajit has been sidelined by the 8 members Central Trust:
Is Satyajit Salian another sexual abuser, and with police protection?
As Sai Baba’s closest boyfriend and roommate since his early years (he is now 33 years old), it is almost undeniable to non-worshipping observers, that he must himself have been sexually abused since childhood, one may wonder by whom? One should ask, why would Sathya Sai Baba have a young boy attending on him day in and day out? It takes little perspicacity to realize, on the background of the many reports, including signed testimonies and affidavits, that Sathya Sai Baba was a major sexual abuser. It has long been reported by ex-students that the rector of the Sai school in Puttparti, Ms. Munni Kaul (known as ‘Munni Auntie’) was herself a sexual abuser of children and that she selected suitable boys for Sathya Sai Baba’s use from the age of six at least! I was also personally informed of this in 1996 by the friend of parents of a young boy who was abused by her – Mr. V. Ramnath of the IAS (see here). At that time I managed to put it down to ‘vicious rumour’, but that was when I was still convinced Sai Baba was somehow divine and before the dam of allegations broke and I contacted many of those involved, three of whom I knew well already (though they had not then come to terms with the abuse and did not tell me).

Satyajit, already in charge of the funeral and all involved (including the Prime Minister, the President and countless other ‘dignitaries’ who must face the indignity and loss of face which will accrue to them of being the guests of yet another reported sexual abuser!). With his lawyers, Satyajit will present Sathya Sai Baba’s last will and testament, which he claims leaves the entire Sathya Sai Central Trust responsibilities to him! What can it mean that “Satyajit is demanding his full share in the trust“? Does he expects a financial windfall out of the donated money? In any case, embezzlement within the clandestine unaccountable trust is clearly a simple matter, as those once dismissed from the board for that by Sai Baba discovered.  Further, the authorities have reportedly already agreed that he should take over the Sai ashrams – together with Sai Baba’s brothers’ son! Imagine it, who will want to visit then? Answer: there are enough deceived and deluded persons who have invested everything of themselves in Sathya Sai Baba to fill the Poornachandra Hall many times over. Some people never can learn, it is too late and too crushingly disastrous to their ‘well-being’.

Devotees may indeed wonder how their omnipotent Lord and God Creator of the Universe could get into such a terrible fix, including drug dependency. They will surely find some extreme rationalization as, once a person is deeply indoctrinated and totally committed to the idea that they are among the blessed chosen ones and are garnering great spiritual benefits and eternal boons (which they will get only after they are themselves dead and in the imagined but unimaginable beyond). Such as the contorted reasoning of a certain very deluded and bitter former President of the Manhattan Centre, New York, one Richard Margolin, has ‘vouchsafed’ to me (in a wordpress comment) to explain that Sathya Sai Baba actually WAS 96 years old and died as he said he would! Tell that to the countless media and others who insist he died aged 84 or 85! (Unfortunately for Margolin, Sai Baba said in 1960 he would live for 59 more years and again in 1961 he would live for 58 more years. Work that one out yourselves!).

The Economic Times reports Threat to life of Sai Baba’s caregiver & personal doctor (26 Apl) HYDERABAD:
“With intelligence reports hinting that there was threat to the life of Sathya Sai Baba’s caregiver Satyajit and personal doctor Dr Aiyar, the state government on Monday advised both of them to make fewer public appearance for some time.  As the report also cautioned that certain elements were trying to eliminate some persons who were close to the Baba, the government beefed up security for all the trust members. Satyajit is a front runner for the top post in the Sathya Sai Central Trust with majority of its members openly expressing their preference for him.  Dr Aiyar was criticised by many devotees for not maintaining any medical records of Sai Baba, some of them, even made threat calls to him while Baba was in hospital. This was revealed by Prasanthi Nilayam sources.”

The Financial Express tells India what ex.devotees – and most present devotees – have always known, that the entire ashram system is most strongly weighted in favour of the well.to.do, the well-known and people who have any kind of qualifications which might enhance Sai Baba’s name (though not one top scientist or Nobel Prize winner ever went there! Not poor, rich devotees get Sathya Sai Baba special treatment

Now the Sai Baba gravy train is soon to ‘grind to a halt’ and the business and property values will come crashing down. Read this:-The economy of Puttaparthi after Baba

Sathya Sai Central Trust – unaccountability to end?

Posted by robertpriddy on April 25, 2011

Newspaper reports are uncovering more and more details of the unaccountable nature of the entire Sathya Sai Baba world – and the heart of it all, the Sathya Sai Central Trust. This comes at a time when the Indian government and business world are under the greatest suspicion and pressures due to their systemic failure to curb corruption or recover illegally deposited millions and billions in offshore accounts. It is to be hoped that investigations will not be the usual cover-up or political horse deal, as has happened so often before. Corruption in India has grown steadily since Independence and the amount of money stored away in Swiss and other offshore accounts has long since exceeded the Indian national budget!

Indeed, now there is a major report from IBN about smuggling of unregistered gold in large quantities out of the ashram. ‘Gold removed on the sly from Sai Baba’s ashram’

Sathya Sai Baba health issue – media reports overview

Posted by robertpriddy on April 10, 2011

Numerous reports about Sathya Sai Baba’s illness, health condition and prospects flood out each day from India papers and medial outlets, mostly repetitive and of no ‘news’ value. Meanwhile, few are reported outside the Indian sub-continent, the god-guru not being newsworthy and largely or wholly unknown to the great majority of the population in developed countries. Those who believe all or some of his claims and are followers of one degree or another outside India are hungry for reliable, documented news about Sai Baba, his condition and what is going on around him. Here I make available scans of the more interesting and reliable reports and comments to illumine the matter in its various aspects.

NEWS AS OF 13TH APRIL: I posted a later blog (here) in which my main contention was about the inability of the doctors to recognise the import of Sai Baba’s 16 days in hospital with multiple organ failures continuing due to their being devotees who believe in the invulnerability of Sai Baba before his various predicted years of death in his 90s. My doubts about their judgement were again confirmed by the latest announcement ‘Docs fret over Baba’s sluggish recovery’ (see Deccan Herald:-  http://www.deccanherald.com/content/153058/docs-fret-over-babas-sluggish.html). The patient’s condition remains critical – he cannot eat and is on heavy medication to maintain his vital parameters, so now the negligible pace of improvement is admitted as worrying the doctors, including Dr. Safaya as  being “not satisfactory”. Despite this, the rose-tinted assurances by the devotee doctor Safaya have begun again (April 14th).

Sai Baba devotees condone Kashmir violence?

Posted by robertpriddy on December 18, 2010

WikiLeaks: India ‘systematically torturing civilians in Kashmir’ writes The Daily Telegraph’:-

US diplomats were given evidence suggesting India was systematically torturing civilians in Kashmir, according to leaked cables. By Nick Allen, Los Angeles 12:17AM GMT 17 Dec 2010

Reportedly, in 2005 the International Committee of the Red Cross briefed US officials in Delhi that electrocution, physical beatings, sexual interference and other methods were being employed against hundreds of detainees by Indian security forces. The report to US authorities was detailed (691 of 1296 ICRC interviewed claimed they were tortured) and the ICRC asserted that that India “condones torture” and “routine killing” of civilians simply “connected to or believed to have information about the insurgency.”

The methods included being suspended from the ceiling (381 cases) and 304 cases were described as “sexual.” All of 294 victims described having their legs crushed by guards putting a bar across their thighs and sitting on it, and 181 said their legs had been pulled apart into the splits. US officials reported that “terrorism investigations and court cases tend to rely upon confessions, many of which are obtained under duress if not beatings, threats, or in some cases torture.”

PM Manmohan Singh is a worshipper of Sathya Sai Baba, who speaks of peace and non-violence. Yet neither the self-proclaimed omnipotent ‘avatar’ nor his devotees can or will say or do anything for the people of Kashmir. This is how actions look in the face of weasel words. Sarhya Sai Baba has had as followers most former Indian Prime Ministers, all the Presidents and countless Government and State Ministers, all of whom have been aware that Sai Baba has constantly claimed that he will regenerate Indian values and its people, and this only as a prelude to saving humanity! The results so far totally belie the claims and false predictions of this supposedly reborn Vishnu, Rama and Krishna… It is obvious that Sai Baba can never have any such influence since he is retrograde and atavistic and even wants a return to a mythical India of ancient times… Bharat social structure as it once was under Rama. We must all be very relieved that Sai Baba is an impostor as regards all that! Yet India’s leading figures STILL worship the feet of this stone-faced invalid as God Almighty. What future hope there is for a corrupt and tortured nation led by such people one cannot imagine.

At the recent 85'th birthday of Sai Baba, who sat stone-faced throughout - see video clip, but also cried his eyes out see video clip

Murders in Sathya Sai Baba’s ‘Abode of Supreme Peace’ – 3

Posted by robertpriddy on October 21, 2010

Graphic scenes of the murders in Sathya Sai baba's bedroom-1So that people involved with Sathya Sai Baba issues might not forget the horrendous murders in his bedroom in 1993 and their cover-up by the Government of India, the graphic evidence is circulated once again. These unsolved and covered-up murders – where Sathya Sai Baba was present but was never even questioned by police – will haunt Indian authorities for decades to come, and very rightly so. No form of redress – let alone anything approaching justice – was ever allowed for any of the bereaved – or for those affected by Sathya Sai Baba’s staff purges of ashramites whose lives had been dedicated to service under the figurehead of Sathya Sai Baba. Factual analysis of these photos by Basava Premanand:-

Pic. 12 to 15 are the photographs of Suresh Shatharam Prabhu, one of the four alleged assailants.
What the FIR states about the shooting dead the four assailants is that at about 11:30pm four assailants armed with daggers suddenly opened doors (of Baba’s bed room) pounced on police, attacked and caused injuries to three with a view to kill. As police could not over power them, in self defense, 5 police opened fire killing all the four assailants in the mandir. According to post mortem report all the four assailants were shot dead point blank at less than 6 inches distance. If the assailants had rushed out of the room, they ought to have been shot outside and not inside. The position of their bodies prove that all were shot inside the rooms and not from outside.

Pic. 12 shows Suresh Shantharam Prabhu with his head on the door step. In the 13th photograph taken from his back, his legs are in the middle of the room and there is a pink coloured bath towel on his right side. At his back on the left is a fallen teapoy. In the 12th and 13th photographs the position of the legs of the teapoy is different. Moreover if the teapoy was really mere it would not have been possible to open the door. If the assailant had come out of the door to stab the police, he would not have been shot inside the center of the room, from the back. There is not a drop of blood on the floor when he had been shot at less than 6″ distance at the back of the right chest.

The position of the body in Pic. 12 and 13 shows that he was shot from behind from the room. When the four alleged assailants were shot dead at less than 6″ distance, what was the necessity of 5 police shooting them is not known. Moreover the bullets which have pierced them have not been checked as to from which rifles they were shot. In the photographs 12,13 and 14, the body is lying in face down position, while in photograph 15 the body is on tl1e back with face up. It is also not possible to identify the room and as per the CB-CID remand report it is the bed room of Radhakrishna. On the far end of the room a bed sheet has fallen down half on the ground. The wound on the back of right chest is visible but it is dry. As the bullet did not come out of the body, there cannot be blood in the front side of the chest. But photograph 15 shows blood on the right and left of the shirt in the front and also on the sleeves. In photograph 12,13 and 14 the eyes are shut while in photograph 15 eyes are open. Some one has raised the shirt and so his chest and part of the stomach is seen. His right hand is in a different position in photograph 15 from that in photographs 12,13 and 14. There is a drop of blood on the floor near the doorsteps and two knives. If Suresh Shantharam Prabhu after being shot in the middle of the room fell down dead the knives cannot fall outside. The position of the two knives looks as if some one had placed them there. The two hands under his body proves that he had not thrown the knives away. More over, no gloves is seen in the room or outside. So the fingerprints on the knives ought to have been checked by the police. There is some blood on his pants near the right leg.

Murders in Sai Baba's bedroom- corpses and shambles afterwards
Pic.l6,17,18,l9 are of Sai Ram a student of Baba’s University. The warden has not explained how he came out of the hostel at night when it is claimed that the hostel rules are very strict. The snake bed points out that he is in Sai Baba’s bedroom. His legs are inside the door and so he was shot inside the bedroom. He has been shot at the left side of the neck from a distance less than 6″. If he was running out of the room and stab the police it would not have been possible to shoot him at the left side of the neck. His leg and body position proves that he was inside the room facing the bed.

When his palms are under his body it would not have been possible for him to remove the gloves from his hand and throw it behind his head. There is no blood on the gloves also. The blood on the planks of the door proves that he was shot from inside with the door closed. Splashes of blood are there around him up to the hips and a pool of blood in front of his face. A neat white folded cloth is also splashed with blood which would not have come from the neck injury. There is a box and a small knife near his knee joint, also a blue bag, under his left foot there is a white cloth.
In Photograph 17 there is a rope above his head in the corner of the room. The eyes are closed in photograph l6,17, 1 8, while in photograph 19 it is wide open. Someone has raised his shirt and his stomach part is seen with his left hand on it. His mouth is open and everything looks unnatural.

In all the photographs the jeans and shirt are clean without blood stains. In usual course the blood would have sprouted out immediately he was shot on the neck and drenched his dress. It is also not possible to identify the room in photograph 19.

Victims of police execution on orders of Sathya Sai Baba's menPic.20,21,22 and 23 are of Jagannatham. His body is lying on his right side with legs towards the door and head towards the cot and the face towards the wall. There is a watch on his left hand and his left palm is near his face. He has been shot on his right palm, on the left side of the axilla piercing the left side of the chest and another shot on the right side of the 2nd sutor costal area lacerated up to the right mammary area. Here also he has been shot from inside the room and not from outside the door. There is an object near his right palm. The floor is clean and though blood is seen on the sleeves of the right hand in pic.20, the blood is not visible in pic.2l and 22. Pic.23 is with face up. There are blotches of blood on the right side of the chest but his hand position differs from the other photographs. While in photographs 20 and 21 his left hand touches his nose, photograph 22 shows his left hand away from the nose.
Pic.24 is of Suresh Kumar with Baba. He was very near to Baba and had collected lots of mementos from him. So also other assailants. Pic.25,26,27,28 are the murder scene of Suresh Kumar in Sai Baba’s bed room.

In pic.25 and 27 you can see his feet in the space of a wooden almirah. This very clearly proves that he had not dashed out of Baba’s bed room to stab the police and really he was shot while hiding behind the almirah. He was shot in the left eye and the brain was lacerated, the 2nd shot was on the right thigh and the 3rd shot in the lateral side of the left wrist. All shots were from less than 6″ distance. There is a blood pool around him down the waist and not beyond the thigh. Though the 2nd shot was on the right thigh there is no blood on the right side of the pants. Both the hands are with blood but the blood had not splashed around after the fall. The two knifes are clean at the handle and the one near to him, the blade has blood stains. There are two gloves near him one as if dipped in blood and the other spotless. When he would have died immediately he was shot in the eye there would not have been any time to remove the gloves after having been shot on the left wrist. There is also a part of white cloth touching the red ‘gloves without any blood on it. His shirt and pants are almost spotless. In photographs 25,26,27 he has fallen on his left side. The photograph 28 shows him fallen on his back and the hands are not in the same position as in other 3 photographs 25,26,27.

These murder photographs seem to have been taken alter the bodies are moved from the place of murder and suit the built up story in the FIR by the Circle Inspector of police Gangadhar Reddy, at the direction of H.J.Dora who had rushed to Puttaparthi on the 6th night itself from Hyderabad.

Murders in ‘The Abode of Supreme Peace’ [Prashanthi Nilayam] -2

Posted by robertpriddy on October 19, 2010

The aftermath of executions: Sai Baba's sofa, knives of the murdered followers, potassium cyanide bottle etc.

The aftermath of executions: Sai Baba's sofa, knives of the murdered followers, potassium cyanide bottle etc.

Should the utterly despicable cold-blooded executions of the four devotees in Sathya Sai Baba’s apartment be forgotten because of the despicable cover-up by the Government of India, the graphic description needs is being circulated once again.- After having intruded into the Prashanthi Nilayam temple and survived a knife battle in which two of the Baba´s servitors were killed – four devotees were trapped in the apartment and, hours later, were mowed down in a rain of bullets by police. If there is any justice or concern for what is right in this world, this unsolved major murder case will continue increasingly to haunt Indian authorities and the probity of its rulers in the last two decades for many long years to come.

No form of justice or redress of any kind was allowed for any of the bereaved or those affected by Sathya Sai Baba’s staff purges of ashramites whose lives had been dedicated to service under the figurehead of Sathya Sai Baba. Due to Sathya Sai Baba’s power over his top Indian government followers, it is unsafe for anyone within India to speak out or make a public record of what they know about this. Therefore, some foreign ex-followers are filling that gap assiduously! Here is the continuing account of what the damning photo evidence indicates, as made by former world-famous India Sceptic, Basava Premanand:-

The top left picture is the interview room of Sai Baba next to his bed room where Sai Baba meets the members of his trust and other functionaries [[Note: as of 1993]]: There are two wooden poles, one stained with blood, a pillow with blood stain, a wall clock, a table lamp and other articles on the sofa. But no blood on the sofa. The very fact that these materials are on the sofa set proves some one had placed them on the sofa. This proves that there were others in Sai Baba residence. On the left side of the sofa near the teapoy there is rope and a stick. In front of the sofa on the left side is a hose and a T-shaped metal instrument. On the right side in front of the sofa, part of a red and blue box or book is seen. The teapoy on the left side of the sofa is full with materials – flask, idol of Ramakrishna. etc.,

Pic.6 shows seven knives one as long as 4 feet. lt is not known how these could be hidden in their body by the four alleged assailants when blood stains are seen especially on the 4 foot  sword and the metal instrument. They were not found near the bodies of the four assailants.
As per the interview given by Retired Jus. Balakrishna Erady, Supreme Court, the 4 alleged assailants being the watchmen of the residence for the night had carried their bedding and the knives etc. might have been hidden in the bedding. But their bedding is not found inside the residence as per the observations of the mandal executive magistrate:

Pic.8 is of the 2 bottles containing potassium cyanide and ether and the rest are the defused bomb parts with wire etc. The police have not explained how alter a thorough search of the premises on 7th, they discovered the bombs on 8.6.1993. Also because of the visit of president’s family and home minister the whole complex would have been searched by the intelligence department as per the protocol. When the bombs were not found then, it proves beyond doubt that the bombs were planted after the murders to make the murder case strong.

Beatings, torture and killings by Police in India

Posted by robertpriddy on September 25, 2010

Some graphic proofs of the bestiality of Indian police - a widespread state of affairsPolice bestiality, legal and official corruption in India today

India’s government has spent billions of dollars (some – incl. the BBC – report  it may eventually amount to 50 billion) on the Commonwealth Games – wealth that should instead have been for the common people instead in this land of the greatest human calamities. The Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh and his minions (himself a devout follower – no less – of the self-proclaimed omnipotent God Incarnate Sathya Sai Baba), have constantly ignored calls to clean up the filth prevailing in the competitors’ quarters, and now are trying to save the games. Britain has decided to send its sportspeople there – despite the lawlessness, unsafe infrastructure, prevalent contagions and the constant mindless beating up in public by police of innocents (not excluding foreigners), not least because they do not want to lost valuable business contracts and alienate the Indian ‘brown sahibs’ further. Commonwealth countries should rather tell India to clean up their disastrously brutal police force, their corrupt and elitist judiciary and the sheer deceit practised by some Indian gurus they actually protect to the full (i.e. Sai Baba). (Funnily, however, gullible devotees of Sai Baba have actually enthused over him having privately prophesied the Olympics in 2020 will be held in India and also around his ashram in Andhra Pradesh!)

Police in India are guilty of widespread human rights violations, including beatings, torture and killings, a new report alleges Human Rights Watch spent a year investigating claims of human rights violations to compile the 118-page report, entitled “Broken System: Dysfunction, Abuse and Impunity in the Indian Police”.

However, the gradually awakening wider Indian public rose in anger and have made this a landmark case in bringing some accountability to police chiefs in India. This cover-up is but one of hundreds of similar reported cases of unpunished police killings and massive brutality in the past decade. The most serious police executions and cover-up, which Indian governments continue to cover-up. was the police executions in cold blood of four devotees in Sathya Sai Baba’s bedroom apartment. The cover-up for this constantly self-proclaimed God Incarnate and world saviour is to protect the reputation of India’s five Prime Ministers, four Presidents, the judiciary and many top people in India others who had already worshipped this widely accused pedophile, sex abuser and proven ignoramus plus murder accomplice for decades before he was exposed.

India bashing?

As Barry Pittard has written: “
“When critics point out the mass of contradictions and the vast corruptions in India, conscienceless attackers such as the Sathya Sai Baba man, Gerald Moreno of New Mexico, USA, allied with some of Sai Baba’s notable followers, who stay in the background, they are said to be “India bashing”. What the former devotee and other critics point out has long been stated by many courageous and truthful Indian citizens down many decades. It may be hoped that these forces of decency and efficiency in India will be aided by the glaring world spotlight which has all too suddenly swung on the many corrupt and befuddled Indian leaders because she is hosting the Commonwealth Games”.

Gerald Moreno, allied with some of his low-minded followers who all try to stay in the background, tries to portray myself and Pittard  as India bashers and haters, he does so because he wants to generate hate against us among Indians. However, we are on the side of the great mass of Indians and against corrupt leadership, uncaring politicians, extortionate moguls, law-breaking and brutal police forces who ignore the vast sufferings of so many.

Moreno’ speaks of IndiFour victims of police executions in Sathya Sai Baba's bedroom, 1993a on his original vishvarupa.com website in 2003 of India as follows:  “For the past 14 years I have travelled many times to India. I’m captivated by India. (Much to the bewilderment of friends and family)” and he has never made a single critical observation about the vast poverty, the general unconcern with the poor and suffering, the host of embezzling and self-serving politicians and mafias and the depths of depravity whereby children are sold into prostitution in the millions and tiny babies are maimed in horrendous ways to turn them into beggars. His only concern is to bash and harass in every possible way every dissident of his admired gurus, Sathya Sai Baba, convicted murderer and rapist Swami Premananda, Ammachi the heavy-duty hugging matron, the long-expired Ramana Maharshi and such others.

Vishal Arora Indian journalist exposes Sathya Sai Baba

Posted by robertpriddy on September 20, 2010

‘The Caravan’ Magazine on Sathya Sai Baba by independent investigative journalist Vishal Arora states:-

Sathya Sai Baba bedroom murders summarized by Vishal Arora, independent Indian journalist

As Arora found out, there is a most powerful and widely extended cadre of Sathya Sai Baba worshippers in power in India, most of whom having been outspoken as worshipping devotees for many years. Prestige, favours, money and, above all, the fear or ridicule for having been so thoroughly taken in by a widely accused pedophile and accomplice to murder of his own devotees is a powerful factor in their continued fear (and blocking) of investigations of any kind into Sathya Sai Baba. Vishal Arora writes:-
There is no lack of powerful, high-profile people cutting across political parties and spheres, professing their faith in Sai Baba.
Justice PN Bhagwati, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India in 1985 and 1986, calls him “divinity incarnate” in Baba is God in Human Form: Experiences of Divinity of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. In the same book, Shivraj Vishwanath Patil, currently Governor of Punjab and former Union Home Minister, says, “He is the knowledge; He is the wisdom personified.” Shankarrao Bhavrao Chavan, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra for two terms and former Union Home and Finance Minister, says he has “no hesitation in saying, whatever position and status I have is purely because of Bhagwan’s blessings.”
And further:-
Famous Indian laywer Kamini Jaiswal spoke to Vishal Arora about the blank refusal of the Supreme Court Petition against Sathya Sai Baba.

Sathya Sai Baba’s influence on the Indian Judiciary

Posted by robertpriddy on September 6, 2010

Basava Premanand probed deeply into various claims by devotees that Sathya Sai Baba had ‘fixed’ the judiciary to protect them. His voluminous correspondence with court authorities at all levels show how he was given a pathetic run-around and that his questions were never answered by anyone, but referred to others. In no remotely democratic judiciary would this be tolerated. But then, everyone knows that the Indian courts are among the worst in the world for doing justice – or even allowing petitions to be heard. T.N. Seshan himself complained of the undemocratic state of affairs in India when he was Chief Election Commissioner Failings in Indian Justice – by ex-Chief Election Commissioner T.N. Seshan, though he admitted it had improved somewhat later on. Meanwhile, many other level-headed observers and academics in India deplore the judiciary, the red tape, the corruption (paying to jump the endless queue of cases and much more). It is widely proven that corruption flourishes at most levels in the Indian administration, and not least at the very top!

DID SATYA SAI BABA INFLUENCE THE JUDICIARY? (by Basava Premanand)

In 1981 I came across the 48th divine dawn Birthday Number of the News Chronicle dated 23.11.1973 so also the souvenir published by Sri Satya Sai Seva Samithi, Bombay titled “AT THE LOTUS FEET 1968”.

The article “Those early years” authored by Y.R. Ghorpade, EX Maharaja of Sandur attracted my attention as it contained a defamatory sentence defaming our Judiciary.

“BEFORE I COULD MENTION THIS PROBLEM TO BABA HE SAID THAT I NEED NOT WORRY ABOUT THE SUPREME COURT CASE AS HE WOULD SEE THAT THE CASE IS DECIDED IN MY FAVOUR. AND, SURE ENOUGH IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS I HEARD THAT WE HAD WON IN THE SUPREME COURT.”

To get the details of the case I wrote to the Ex Maharaja of Sandur and though he kept mum on the case advised me to write to Sri Sathya Sai Books & Publications, Prasanthinilayam.

From his silence on my questions, I knew that there was something interesting in the case and I started searching for the case in the Supreme Court Law Journals and I succeeded in my search in 1984. The said judgement was given on 6.5.1966 by Justices K.N.Wanchoo, J.C,Shah and S.M.Sikri in civil appeal Nos. 1l33 & 1134. Hon.J.C.Shah gave a dissenting judgment dismissing the petitions of Y.R. Ghorpade while other two Hon.Justices allowed the appeals with costs at Supreme Court and the High Court.

When I went through the magazines published by Satya Sai Baba, it was found that YR. Ghorpade and his wife did visit Puttaparthi in October 1965.

As a person interested in the welfare of the Judiciary,I wrote to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India to give me the names of the Hon.Justices of the Supreme Court and the High Courts and the addresses of the High Courts in India, so that I could write to them to know their reactions in this matter individually and collectively. The Asst. Registrar of the Hon. Supreme Court rejected my request.

After collecting the names of the Hon’ble Justices from the Law Journals, a petition was sent to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India and the Companion Justices of the Hon. Supreme Court on 2.2.1985 for answers to the following questions and the reply was that “no action can be taken on the papers sent by me as such the same have been lodged”!

Can a person like Satya Sai Baba who proclaims himself to be the reborn Shirdi Sai Baba and Sarva Daivatva Swaroopa -the god of all the gods by showing some tricks as miracles without ‘permitting investigations to the truthfulness of his miracles influence the Hon.Justices in Supreme Court to favour the persons whom they want?

2. what is the part played by Satya Sai Baba and through whom, in seeing that this case is decided in favour of YR. Ghorpade?

3. Have the Hon. Justices, gone against Law and Justice while the case was decided in favour of YR. Ghorpade?

4. If what is narrated in the article is false what action the Hon. Supreme Court would take against Y.R. Ghorpade and News Chronicle, Ludhiana for publishing this article?

It is now for the Lawyers, Jurists, Judiciary etc., to find if Sathya Sai Baba had influenced the Hon.Supreme Court to get the case decided in favour of Y.R.Ghorpade, and if not to take contempt of court action against YR.Ghorpade. Or if the Hon. Justices have been influenced then to pass necessary orders in this respect so that people of ‘India have confidence in the Judiciary.

It was surprising that one of the Hon.Justices met Sai Baba ‘when this case was pending and later Sikri &Co., appointed as Lawyers of Y.R. Ghorpade and his business empire. (p. 74-5)

VIP visitors to Sai Baba ashrams

Posted by robertpriddy on August 31, 2010

V.J. Ram (aka Janakiram) was a senior Indian CID officer who received the President’s Police Medal for having solved many difficult cases. His book on ‘The Godmen of India’ is extremely revealing, especially as regards the long history of criminal incidents connected to Sathya Sai Baba and his coterie. His sensational book is about several ‘godmen’ in India into whom he has investigated and found to be bogus and surrounded by criminal allegations with much circumstantial evidence to uphold them.

Supreme Court of India cover-up: petition ad Sathya Sai Baba rejected

Posted by robertpriddy on August 13, 2010

Evidence and documentary proof of failed petition to the Supreme Court of India. The attempt to prosecute Sathya Sai Baba a decade ago was rejected in a most corrupt manner by a Sai Baba worshipping judiciary:-

Reply-To: harisampath@visto.com
Dear All,

In what has been described by all observers as a “shocking” decision, the Supreme court refused to even hear the petition yesterday.
The Judge who heard it last week in the preliminary , Justice Agarwal (who said “these things have been going on for decades” ) was scheduled to be hearing the petition. In the last minute, he was suddenly transferred to another case by the Chief justice Anand, a Sai Baba folower, who appointed his right hand man, a corrupt judge called Lahoti to hear the case.

As soon as Kamini Jaiswal and Prashant Kumar started opening the case, this judge started posing all sorts of absolutely stupid questions, with NO LEGAL BASIS.

Here is what happened as recounted to me by Prashant Kumar.

************************************************

Kamini Jaiswal : May I proceed with the case introduction ?

Judge Lahoti : Wait….there is a problem with the affidavit of the petitioner, I want it clarified.

Kamini : There is absolutely nothing wrong, the affidavit is perfectly fine.

Judge Lahoti : Why is the affidavit dated April 5th 2001 and you are coming up only now with the petition , in May ?

Kamini : The affidavit was signed by the petitioner and had to be mailed, along with his petition. The petition had to be mailed to him first so that he could sign it.

Judge Lahoti : How can that take more than a month ? This is an old affidavit , then.

Kamini : If you notice the address of the petitioner, he is in the United States, and mail takes a few days to reach there and then back here to India. We filed the petition more than 10 days back, citing reasons for urgent mention, and according to the court order, the case was posted for today. That is why we are here now.

Judge Lahoti : Well…it seems that the petitioner is in USA,it is my mistake. Anyway there are other reasons I want to clarify this petition. Why are you approaching the Supreme court ? We don’t want to hear this petition, please go to the High court in Andhra Pradesh.

Kamini : The reasons are clearly mentioned in the petition, and we are filing the petition under Article 32 of the constitution, which gives us the right to come to the Supreme court.

Judge Patnaik (second judge) : Why was the petition not filed in the Andhra High court under Article 226 ? Go to the High court.

Kamini : That is what I am coming to, Article 32 and Article 226, both grant the same rights in the Supreme court and High court respectively…..either option can be pursued. If I may proceed with my argument, I will explain why…

Judge Lahoti : No… go to the High court…

Kamini : Can I at least have a hearing ?

Judge Patnaik : ok.. go on…

(Kamini begins her arguments, and starts detailing all the media reports about Sai Baba, the statements of sexual molestation, etc….. when she reaches the point about UNESCO…. she is interrupted)

Judge Patnaik : This court doesn’t want to hear this petition, go to the Andhra High court.

Kamini : But I have not even come to the point explaining why we choose to file under Article 32 in Supreme court…

Judge Lahoti : You can do the same under Article 226 in Andhra Court…

Kamini : But that exactly is what I was going to say, about why I cannot do that there, can I please continue ?

Judge Patnaik : Why are you here, why don’t you go to Andhra ?

Kamini : It is clearly stated in the petition, and I am coming to that…

Judge Lahoti : what grounds ?

Kamini : The respondent Sai Baba has a 60,000 million rupee empire in Andhra Pradesh, with total control over the entire state government… how can we go there ? There are also lot of other political influences …

Judge Patnaik : No, we are not going to allow this petition here, go to the Andhra High court..

Kamini : But if this was the issue, we could have been informed 10 days back, we were asked to come today…

Judge Patnaik : We are going to dismiss the petition.

Kamini : On what grounds ?

Judge Lahoti : We do not have to cite any reason for dismissing it..

Kamini : Can you at least give a ruling “with liberty to go to Andhra High court” ?

Judge Patnaik : No I am not going to do that.

Kamini : But that is what you were saying all along , if you want us to go to the Andhra High court, and if that is the reason you are not hearing this petition, can you please put it in writing ? We can then take it to the Andhra High court .

Judge Patnaik : No , I just asked you why you are here, and said that you should be in the Andhra High court. I am not going to include that in the ruling.

Kamini : Can we at least withdraw the petition from this court, and approach the Andhra High court ?

Judge Lahoti : you could approach the Andhra High court if you want to, but we are going to call this petition “dismissed”, and not allow you to withdraw it.

Judge Patnaik : Petition dismissed, no reasons are given by this court. That is the ruling .

*************************************

As we can clearly see, this “hearing” was rigged and blatantly violating all legal norms.

The whole proceeding took less than 10 min… with the judges constantly interrupting Kamini Jaiswal…. and repeatedly raising irrelevant questions, without giving her a chance to explain the legal reasons why she was representing in the supreme court.

That judge Lahoti is notorious as a “Chief justice Anand’s hit man”, who had been cleverly appointed at the last minute, replacing Justice Barucha and Justice Agarwal, who heard it last week.

It is very very obvious why they were so eager to “dismiss” the petition, without a complete hearing, and also not give a ruling that we could approach Andhra High court, although they stated it orally.

They want us to go to Andhra High court, and everybody knows what will happen there. There will not even be a formality of a hearing in Andhra.

The scan that proves definitively that Sathya Sai Baba was protected by the Supreme Court of India and could not be tried, let alone convicted.

Comment:
Worse yet, shortly after their rejection of the Petition lodged by Hari Sampath, the Supreme Court of India deleted all public documentation of it having been made. The British Ambassador to India attempted to get confirmation of the rejection by the Supreme Court but there was no record of it! Nonetheless, a copy of the formal rejection paper was preserved and a scan of that attested document is here:-

At that time, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh had once been none less than the private driver for Sathya Sai Baba ! One can imagine the chances of a petition to the AP High Court. In a mail from Basava Premanand to the Danish film director Øjvind Kyrø, who produced the Danish National TV Documentary ‘Seduced’ (by Sai Baba), he stated:

“Regarding murders in 6.6.1993 I went up to the Supreme Court and though the apex court ordered the police to take action against the accused as per the investigation by CB-CID the case was closed by the Andhra Government. Now that the government is changed and the present Chief Minister and Governor of Andhra Pradesh are fans of mine. We have put in a petition to get it opened and the Governor has agreed to meet me.”

However, despite sustained efforts to re-open the case, Premanand’s petition was totally disregarded right up until his death last year. This shows the pull that Sathya Sai Baba and his minions had in the corridors of power in India, especially the top of the Indian Government (which they still have).

“Be happy. Your happiness is my happiness” Sai Baba

Posted by robertpriddy on July 23, 2010

[The quotation in the title is from Sathya Sai Speaks Volume 27, p. 10.]

Sathya Sai Baba shows his true face - 2010

Sathya Sai Baba has constantly repeated the simplistic and usual irrelevant or inappropriate advice “Be Happy” to all and sundry. In a discourse in October 2008, according to one published transcript, Sathya Sai Baba said:-

“The students… …wonder how Swami is able to put up such a smiling countenance in the midst of great criticism and how Swami could put up such great patience!”

One the official on-line discourse website, however, the translation is somewhat different:-

“I do not at all get angry against anybody, even though some talk ill of Me. I will always be smiling. Even the apparent anger that I display sometimes is just to correct an individual. The students vouchsafe for this attitude of Mine. They wonder how Swami is able to put up such a smiling countenance in the midst of great criticism and how could Swami muster such great patience!” (
Sathya Sai Speaks Volume 41, p. 204)

Does Sai Baba appear as a person of ‘great patience’ in the above photos? Further, for several years now there has been

800 pages of evidencealmost no evidence of a smile in most cases before cameras, not even in saying cheese. Apparently his state of mind is such that he cannot even keep up the required outward Pollyanna smile. As to his never getting angry, that is deception… he let his anger out in full in his infamous and unforgiving accusatory Christmas Discourse, 2000, against those who allege sex abuse by him. His anger did not “correct” as single one of the many… no allegations were ever dropped!  It was clearly intended to scare devotees into not talking, as they already were… and he threatened banishment if they did too. Effective when people have based their lives and fortunes on his prestige!  He has brought all the criticism upon himself from the hundreds of abused persons – sexually or otherwise. He has simply to watch as his own words are fed back at him and his broken promises and conflicting actions recounted. He cannot respond without getting further into his self-created mire… so he has to appear to be patient! He who rides a tiger cannot just descend…

Despite his constant self-promotions as the ultimate God and the propaganda about his “love is all you need” palliative, he is widely and most credibly accused of physical love for too many boys and young men. Also of involvement in a very sinister murder and execution episode in his own bedroom in 1993, about which he has never been questioned and the whole investigation was quashed at the highest level of the Indian Government.

Never cuts his hair, he has said… but compare photos!n
