Sathya Sai School, Leicester, fights to survive

The Sathya Sai school has lodged a legal case against the Sri Sathya Sai Trust UK out of fear that the Trust might kick them out of their school premises.

The Sathya Sai Trust owns the school building at Leicester and have warned the school that if they do not pay the previous years rent and if their headteacher Mrs. Lim is not removed then they want the school to vacate the premises. On the contrary the schools states that the trust owns them money.

It is to be recalled that Mrs Usha Lim was reported to the social services by the parents for her bullying behaviour and Mr Cheng Hoe Lim for his sexual harassment of a female colleague. Most of the affected parents have removed their children out of this school and it remains to be seen how this doomed school will survive after summer. All this in the name of their God Sai Baba and the so called values of “love all serve all”. (from a proxy informant in UK who remains anonymous here so as to protect against harassment by the Sathya Sai school headmistress and co.)

The Ofsted Commission’s report on this school has become more and more negative as can be seen in the 2014 report (click on image on the right here). However the Ofsted inspectors remained ignorant of the bullying case and sexual harassment cases, which were suppressed through legal threats against the parents of the bullied child etc. by the very rich people who are devotees of Sai Baba, including Dr. Michael Goldstein.

Leicester Sathya Sai School vibuthi fraud

Sathya Sai so-called 'holy vibuthi' alleged to have been manifested at the Leicetser Sathya Sai School as if to exonerate the accused headmistress and her husband of serious abuses.

The Leicester Sathya Sai School lost its accreditation as a Sai Baba institution after a major scandal of child abuse and sexual harassment of a female teacher was investigated, firstly by Leicester social services, subsequently by various ‘officials’ of the Sathya Sai Organisation in Uk and also by the overarching International Sai Baba authorities in India.

During the investigation, after legal threats were made against the accusers by very rich Sathya Sai followers, the photos on the right here were sent to me. These were taken by some staff member of the Sathya Sai School, the alleged ‘miraculous manifestation’ of vibuthi (supposed ‘hold Sai Baba ash, sent from him beyond the grave!) were, of course, known about by all involved in the school and no doubt were sent to various ‘official’ bodies in the Sathya Sai Organisation, intending to prove that Sai Baba gave his (posthumous) blessing to the school as led by Headmistress Mrs. Usha Lim (accused of child abusive harassment) and her husband, Mr. Cheng Ho Lim, who was accused of sexual harassment of a female staff member. Evidently, these accusations were accepted as true by those officials in the Sathya Sai Organisation who banned the school from using the name of Sathya Sai Baba. The school’s funding from the UK SS Organisation was cut off, but a private source – a very rich Indian businessman who still believes that Sai Baba was a holy person with miraculous powers etc.,- took over the financial support, and the school blatantly continues to use the name ‘Sathya Sai’ in its title.

The miracle of ‘spontaneous manifestation’ of ash (vibuthi) on images as a sign of blessing by Sai Baba (self-proclaimed Creator of the Universe and much else besides) is fully believed in by all his remaining followers, despite all the evidence, both considerable evidence, testimony and filmed sleight-of-hand. So, in a cynical attempt to ‘prove innocence’ (and so avoid exposure) to parents and staff, and not least to all the Sai ‘officials’ who also believe fanatically in the miraculous nature of vibuthi manifestations and to cover-up the abuses, the headmistress and accomplices evidently faked these ‘holy manifestations’. Such vibuthi fraud has been very common among Sai followers and many another who would muscle in on the super-lucrative miracle cult, and Sai Baba frequently used to denounce all manner of imitators of his miracles, of which there were (and still are) many (see example also here). Devotees of Sai Baba always east the ash supposedly ‘sent’ by Sai Baba, trusting in its genuineness and never considering it could contain impurities or other than entirely beneficial substances. Whether the ash at the Leicester school was distributed to children to eat is not known, but was most likely. The entire matter involving miracles and the cult around them being promoted in a U.K. school requires proper investigation by the Ofsted Commission or its eventual replacement schools’ inspection authorities, and not least by health and safety authorities.

However the Ofsted inspectors remained ignorant of the bullying case and sexual harassment cases, which were suppressed through legal threats against the parents of the bullied child etc. by the very rich people who are devotees of Sai Baba, including Dr. Michael Goldstein.

LATEST Sathya Sai School, Leicester, fights to survive The Sathya Sai school has lodged a legal case against the Sri Sathya Sai Trust UK, who own the school premises and demand the headmistress be removed

As of August 18, the Sathya Sai School in Leicester has been disowned by the Sathya Sai Organisation. This was clearly a (very belated) damage-limitation exercise by the Sathya Sai Organisation which – despite great efforts and much international back and forth – did not succeed in getting the main culprits – i.e. the headmistress (Mrs. Usha Lim) and her husband (Mr. Cheng Ho Lim) dismissed. However, all Sathya Sai Organisation official funding has been withdrawn and this private school is in serious arrears with the rent it owes to the Sathya Sai Organisation, which obeys the orders of its superior authority in Prashanthi Nilayam. It is clear enough that, under the circumstances of a total rejection of the Sathya Sai School, that the Sai Organisation will have no means of enforcing payment – certainly not without an ugly legal fight, which means another loss to the donors who finance the organization. Mr. Pal Dhall (click here) wrote the letter rejecting the Leicester school from the fold of the blessed.

Subject: The present status of UK “Sathya Sai School” ” Following the visit of the Delegation to the UK Sathya Sai School in April, a full discussion was held in Prasanthi Nilayam between the members of the Delegation and the Board of Directors of SSSW Foundation.
The Delegation came to the conclusion that the UK Sathya Sai School does not comply in a number of ways with the Guidelines of SSSWF for Sathya Sai Schools and ISSEs. Under the circumstances it was decided by the SSSWF and Education Committee to withdraw recognition of this School and not to include the UK Sathya Sai School in the International Register of Sathya Sai Schools. It is inappropriate therefore to continue to hold your School as “Sathya Sai School” on the International Register of Sathya Sai Schools given the history and the circumstances under which the UK School is being operated. I regret we came to this conclusion.
Under the circumstances it would be appropriate for you to consider another name for your School. “Sincerely,

The drawn-out crisis over the running of the Sathya Sai School in Leicester, the furore over the bullying of a child by the headmistress and sexual harassment by her husband, employed at the Physical Education teacher, involving the social services in Leicester. This eventually led to the dismissal of two more cult-indoctrinated involved persons; the Head of education committee of SSWF (Sathya Sai World Fund) lost his head(ship) and one of the directors of the Sathya Sai School in Leicester, Dr. Madhavi Majmudar likewise. The following report came to me from a concerned person:-

“Mr Kalyan Ray (The head of the education committee Sri Sathya Sai World Fund) was kicked out of his post and also that egoistic women Dr Madhavi Majmudar from the education committee –the reason being the mess they created by sweeping matters under the carpet and hiding the facts from the whole world, ignoring the complaining parents who ultimately went to the social services to complain against the bullying head teacher Mrs Usha Lim.
