‘Prema Sai’ child to compete with Muddenahalli’s ‘oracle boy’ (Madhusudan) and Narasimha Murthy

Posted by robertpriddy on August 22, 2017

The Russians are starting to visit the ‘presumed Prema Sai’ in Mysore. A boringly pedestrian  video was filmed by two Russian women. The credits are claimed by Svyatoslav Dubiansky, promoting herelf as a writer and artist, but the video is as far from art as it is possible to get. The typically squirmy kiddo (‘Prema Sai’?) is getting many gifts from the foreigners, including a children’s motorcycle  (and his parents are no doubt getting some money too). He is shown playing like any child with presents, but no sign whatever of any spirituality can be discerned (as is said to have markes Sathya when that age). A video was filmed in the house of his parent in January 2017, with the mini Prema Sai now talking. It was posted on YouTube. There are clearly interests behind promoting this child who was hijacked as Prema Sai early on. No doubt this is seen as a way out of poverty into riches, if it takes off, as it may be doing, however uninspiring is is. There are buildings being constructed in the village. Another YouTube video introduces the two brothers of the ‘father of Prema Sai’, of course all of them are reaping the benefits of the totally random place and day the boy was born.

Prema Sai child – overview of Telugu news video

Posted by robertpriddy on June 5, 2015

The announcement on Telugu TV9 that Prema Sai has been located in Doddamalur – despite the assurance that Sathya Sai baba gave that he would be unknown until teenage, can surely only increase the acrimonious rivalry between the various factions fighting for the Sai Baba brand and all that it brings with it to those who succeed. Our Telugu translator writes:- The poor boy, his life will be changed forever, his personality will be shaped and probably not for the better. The mother seems very naive, innocent and honest. We can expect coaching will be added to their education, especially if those will ulterior motives join the fray. (The father was not in the video, at least not in the 50 of the 75 min)

Here are the highlights:

1. A spiritual guru named Vijaya Devi from the state of Manipur in India, sent several of her devotees to Doddamallur village in Karnataka, where sb said he would be born as Prema Sai. She told them how to test the children in the village to see who was the avatar.

(Comment: It is typical of gurus who are always seeking to enhance their fame and following, not least finance and power, to use crafty ploys. What better idea than to announce the advent of Prema Sai, for whom so many desperate devotees of Sathya are waiting to appear?

2. The men rented space in the home of Dr Srinivas (the elderly guy in white in the video). Dr Srinivas told them about a devotee named ‘Swami’ who came to the village and revealed that he had a dream about Prema Sai being born, including the signs. The devotee ‘Swami’ met the declared Prema Sai and said he matched the signs in his dream (it is unclear whether this devotee came before or after the Manipur devotees picked the boy).

3. The Manipur devotees went house to house in the village, meeting all the young boys of the right age (born after sb died) and testing them. One of the tests is for the devotees to repeat a mantra, if the boy mouthed the words along with him. The chosen boy, named ‘Preetam’ passed all the tests. He was born in June 2012.

Comment:- This is a predictable game: the least likely are eliminated until there is one left, so he must be the one. What a parody of spirituality!

4. The boy Preetam’s mother is named Tejamani and works in a garment factory. The father is named Mahesh and he is a salesman. They are a poor family.

5. Manipur devotees financed a trip to take the parents and the boy to guru Vijaya Devi in Manipur, where the boy laid the foundation stone of a temple and received the ardent worship of devotees. There are plans to build a temple in Doddamallur village also. Scenes of the plane trip, a hysterically crying guru Vijaya Devi (of happiness, I assume), bhajans, worship of the feet and a sullen and mystified-looking boy Preetam.

6. Dr Srinivas seems incapable of answering simple questions, instead he rambles on about other things. He finally admits that the reason he has 100% faith in the boy, is because the Manipur devotees seem honest and he trusts them.

Comment: This is risible! That is how 100% faith is delivered. But any such belief is a prison, one which will entrap many who get indoctrinated and, above all, steal all hope of a normal life from this chil.

7. Life interview with the mother of the boy, who says there have been no signs or miracles. It is stressed this is the “starting” and at the age of 8, the boy will ‘manifest’ as Prema Sai, show miracles and start his mission. It was not mentioned how they got this info. Preetam also came on live, he was squirming a lot and looked bored.

Comment: The test will be whether this bored and squirming boy will reproduce the kind of impossible Krishna child miracles as it was claimed by zealous and deeply superstitious villagers in Puttaparti claimed the child Sathya Narayana did. There will, of course, be no independent investigators or scientists allowed near him, as the mythology must be developed by the cadres around him so that their financial futures are secured.

The video includes conversations with two psychiatrists, one an ardent devotee (who does past-life regression) and the other who does not believe in the boy nor in reincarnation, telling of the dangers inherent of worshipping a small boy as god.

Past-life regression is a total scam. It does not even merit the title of pseudo-science since there is not even any attempts at a single figment of scientific testing involved by its practitioners. They are all doubtless either confused and deluded, however unwitting they may be, or else they are outright charlatans.
