Sai Central Trust bizarre press release

The Sathya Sai Central Trust issued the above press release under the heading ‘Important Announcements’  (click here) as if it would enhance the greatness of Sathya Sai Baba! The young man praised Sai Baba for mystical assistance in his having an undefined but peripheral role in a large team which got an Oscar for the music to ‘The Life of Pi’. How have the mighty aspirations of Sai Baba fallen! From a failed Nobel Peace Prize wannabe to the guru of an also-ran in an Indian music studio, Sathya Sai Baba never received a single international award of any kind, though he showed how dearly he wanted to get it by hinting boastfully that he was in line for the Nobel Peace Prize. ALL NOW KNOWN TO BE FALSE PREDICTIONS

This press release reminds, of course, of the huge blunder made by the Sai Baba propagandists when they announced that a young student involved in a minor local project was included in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – he had written Sai Baba’s name as recipient! This was publicised by the Sai Baba media outlets, but had to be removed after Mr. Westgarth on behalf of the D.of E. forced Dr. G. Venkataraman (Sai Baba’s propaganda chief) to remove the false report. Let the Sathya Sai Central Trust rather make a really important announcement, namely, what became of all the former Sai students who SB told Hislop  (see scan on right) were to come to power and ” make a great change in the Indian nation” within 10 years of 1968? The fact is, they cannot because no one is in any position of power… they have made no mark in any sphere as far as can be discovered!
