Sathya Sai Baba died unsmiling

How come that the self-proclaimed god-avatar and world saviour could not muster a smile in his last weeks? Not only did he cry in public during his last birthday celebration, where he otherwise sat unmoving and stone-faced, but he cried out for help to devotees when being taken off to his own hospital when his final illness overtook him. His illness and death were kept as rigorously secret as possible without explanation of his massive weight loss or the cause of his successive organ failures. Instead, false announcements were constantly made that promised his recovery. At no time during his hospitalization was he reported to have smiled, and he was in a coma for most of the weeks leading up to the decision to take him off life support (to coincide with Easter Sunday!). He did not depart gracefully, so his ‘preparations through a long lifetime’ were futile! The head doctor in charge of the whole matter,  Dr. Safaya, later publicly resigned his post because he had somehow been unduly pressured, but why and how the public is not allowed to know! Add to all this the lies about the coffin-casket, which was the same one that they had ordered nearly a month before his death was announced.  No valid death certificate was ever produced, despite intensive appeals through about 300 letters by his cousin, Mr. Ganupati Raju to various senior law enforcement officials. One does not have to be a medical genius to think that the weight loss and organ failures most likely resulted from AIDS. The cover-up by the Sai Central Trust and all their supporters right to the top of the government was total, though the fact that it was a cover-up of what would otherwise have been one of India’s most massive scandals had it not been suppressed at all levels.

No one has claimed that Sathya Sai Baba laughed on his deathbed, on the contrary… he was unconscious most of the time while on life support and the last reliable (independent)  report was about his ” tearful cry for help to his devotees to save him” on March 28th (according to ex-Minister Nagi Reddy) as his minders were taking him away to “his own” hospital. It was they who disconnected him from his life support system, though they have been able to keep secret all that happened and who did what when (no doubt large sums paid in bribes by Sai Trust VIPs so as to avert investigations)! So Sathya Sai Baba’s life can now be judged – according to his own dictum – as having lacked “worth” to a high degree. All independent investigators know the many reasons for that.

It is, however, known that he suffered from  huge weight loss (was under 30 kgs) and – while in intensive care – developed multiple organ failures, kidney failure, liver failure, heart failure and lung failure. These were obviously caused by disease, that is – it is not anything like ‘death from natural causes’, and absolutely not at all like ‘maha-samadhi’ in leaving the body consciously and voluntarily, as all enlightened souls are believed and supposed to do! More like the symptoms of AIDS, there being good reasons to suspect that. However, Sathya Sai Baba gave his alleged Divine Knowledge on disease frequently, as seen in the scanned quotation shown here. So did Sai Baba’s disease grow due to “mental factors”? How did he die so badly diseased when he claimed always to be “hale and hearty”? This is something for devotees to ponder… though most are so entangled in the indoctrination and their cherished belief about their being blessed etc. that they will rationalize it away by saying things like ‘God is beyond human understanding’ and ‘the avatar was only testing our faith’. Poor souls, or rather – deluded minds!

Sathya Sai Baba and AIDS – rampant in Andhra Pradesh

It is of interest that the State in India where Sathya Sai Baba lived – Andhra Pradesh – and where his influence was greatest is the one with the highest levels of AIDS due to male homosexuality. We can read:-

Andhra Pradesh in the southeast of the country has a total population of around 76 million, of whom 6 million live in or around the city of Hyderabad. The HIV prevalence at ante-natal clinics was 1% in 2007. This figure is smaller than the reported 1.26% in 2006, but remains the highest out of all states.²⁴ HIV prevalence at STD clinics was very high at 17% in 2007. Among high-risk groups, HIV prevalence was highest among men who have sex with men (MSM) (17%), followed by female sex workers (9.7%) and IDUs (3.7%).^{25

One hardly need point out that Sai Baba was very widely and credibly accused of massive sexual abuse of young men and even boys (see here) but I am informed by a private source that one student told that he had AIDS and  Sathya Sai Baba was extremely angry with him before other boys. It may have been because he had engaged in sex with that boy. In any case, the reported extent of his male sex contacts was such that it is highly likely that he was HIV infected. Since there is no available medical data from his team of doctors on the actual cause of his illness which led to and intensive care unit (ICU), multiple organ failure and death, after losing weight (wasting illness) until he weighed less than 30 kg, the known facts are in accordance with the hypothesis that he died of AIDS. Here are some of the medical indicators that support this hypothesis:-

Michael J. Murray, M.D., Ph.D.and Douglas B. Coursin, M.D. Department of Anesthesiology, Mayo Clinic and Mayo Foundation, Rochester, Minnesota, University of Wisconsin – Madison Medical School, Madison, Wisconsin write:-

“Cachexia and Wasting: The multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), though newly described, has manifested itself in intensive care unit (ICU) patients for several decades. As the name implies, it is a syndrome in which more than one organ system fails. Failure of these multiple organ systems may or may not be related to the initial injury or disease process for which the patient was admitted to the ICU. …initial results most likely manifest themselves as the MODS when endogenous mediators are released in excessive amounts or because of a number of other predisposing factors, i.e., immunosuppression in patients with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and organ failure from iatrogenic causes (amino glycoside nephrotoxicity) either of which,in essence, leads to a systemic inflammatory response syndrome”

Obviously, for anyone who knows the minds of the close followers of Sathya Sai Baba, such a fact could NEVER, NEVER be revealed were it so! That no proper account of his death had every been given, the suspicion that this is what is being covered up is increased radically. An independent medical examination would also have revealed whether or not he was, as many have claimed, a physical hermaphrodite… which all close followers would deny even if they knew it to be true because of their fear of Sathya Sai Baba’s wrath – even from his grave!
