There is a ‘Sai Baba is back’ contingent among his deluded followers, but the larger group are those who believe he will be returning. They use the same quotes and cling to hope of PN becoming a world Mecca – not only using as proof the restless dreams of desperate Saibaba devotees, but also even hinting it was prophesied in the Bible! The Bible has so many predictions that never came true too, which doesn’t stop the Christians from retaining hope for thousands of years? There will most likely always be a hard core of Sai Baba believers, whatever happens, just as there are still flat-earthers in existence! Almost everything that Sai Baba predicted and promised has gone wrong already, but that is not enough to upset those who have a narrow cognitive view fuelled by an all-embracing hope-fantasy urge. To see the kind of sheer rubbish, based on dreams, anonymous and and unreliable sources, plus general scriptural prophesies of the most discredited kinds, read the following tract being circulated among ‘the chosen few’.

Anil Kumar is currently visiting Australia. Have these people no shame? These guys saying the same platitudes over and over again and cheating people. There are a lot of similarities to Islamic fundamentalism; the segregation of men and women, women treated as second class citizens (it is for their own good according to the sai organisation), a charismatic leader trying to remake followers in his own image etc. There do seem to be a lot of similarities in the totalitarian way both function. The only thing missing is the violence but after reading many of your posts I am convinced that is there as well.
