Satya Sai’s Prashanthi Nilayam harassing Westerners

A report from a person living in Puttaparthi who has become a non-devotee via a most reliable source known to me (both wish to remain incognito for obvious reasons) says that Westerners are not visiting as before. They are being hounded out, and Visa authorities, the local and the national governments are helping in this and in making  it very hard for Westerners to visit. They are not welcome at the Prashanthi Nilayam ashram and are treated as peasants.

This tendency has always been noticeable and getting stronger as the years went by – especially among many of the Seva Dal volunteers who lord it over visitors. Since the news of widespread allegations of sexual abuse broke world-wide on the Internet about Sathya Sai Baba from 2000 onwards – with the increasing critical examination of his many bogus claims, failed prophesies, deceptions and superstitious and often absurd ‘teachings’, more and more Western visitors have been having a tougher and tougher time. Meanwhile, the same old Sai-VIPs in the Sathya Sai Organization remain there until they die off.
