Sathya Sai Baba Deceptions Exposed

Exposing major deceits by guru Sathya Sai Baba in India, incl. murders cover-up & widely alleged sexual abuse

Sathya Sai Baba and the Internet

The publicity  Sathya Sai Baba’s authenticated websites and a host of semi-official and outright unofficial Sathya Sai Baba propaganda web pages is massive. However, this has evidently not helped expand the Sathya Sai Organization or movement. Since 2000 the facts about his very many misdemeanours, abuses, untruths and deceptions have been circulated by a considerable number of significant defectors who learned the truth about him.

Sathya Sai Baba tourism for Indians In response to the loss of credibility in the larger world and the loss of income from foreign donations, those Sathya Sai Baba dependents and followers who are affected have evidently set their hopes on the average Indian, promoting the ashrams to national tourists, having go the infrastructure improved with major aid from the Andhra Pradresh authorities. After improving the bus network with a new bus station in Puttaparthi, a railway line was also built to Puttaparthi, increasing the flow of Indian visitors very considerably. The Sathya Sai airport – built at government expense through the manipulations of the responsible Minister (Mr. M.K. Kaw – a long-term Sai devotee) was designed mainly for foreign visitors, but now it is up for sale cheaply – having been a major loss-making enterprise. Latest innovation was an international sports arena, but it has a very inauspicious opening, since an international tennis event was cancelled because Sathya Sai Baba did not turn up to open the event!

Sai propaganda and disinformation on the Internet
In a typical pronouncement which is soon denied by his actions, Sathya Sai Baba said in a discourse on 15th October 1999:-

“Swami has nothing to do with internet. Not only now, even in future also You should not indulge in such wrong activities. This disease’ has its roots in cities and is spreading like wild fire into villages polluting the village environment.” (see here)

Originally, Sathya Sai Baba spoke out firmly against the use of computers (as weakening human minds by taking over our mental tasks) and later he denied his followers to use the Internet (where many young men and others were testifying to male sexual abuses by him). This misjudgement by a self-styled Omniscient Divinity had to be reversed – as is constantly done to his promises and predictions. The end result is that one can find any amount of web pages with discourses, miracle stories and adulatory articles about ‘Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’. Following on his attempt to usurp the name and fame of the deceased and very popular saint, Shirdi Sai Baba, one finds his images alongside Shirdi Baba pictures and photos.

Deception in the name of Sathya Sai Baba Recently, however, a new Sai Baba internet phenomenon arose – a blog signed by none less than ‘Sathya Sai Baba’, ostensively owned and managed by Sathya Sai Baba. It is Sathya Sai Baba – Life, Love & Spirituality sathyasaibaba.wordpress. Though it is doubtless made by an ordinary anonymous impostor (who attacks critics of Sai Baba on the blog alongside Sathya Sai Baba verbiage about light, compassion, spirituality, understanding, non criticism of other and all that talk) , the ordinary public have no way of discovering this – not without considerable surfing and research. This is simply another deception which is condoned by the Sathya Sai Organization and the Prashanthi Council, for until recently all known impostors using the name Sathya Sai Baba or pretending to have special ‘astral’ contacts with him, or powers of healing or materialization derived from him have been publicly denounced in no uncertain terms in the monthly Sai journal Sanathana Sarathi. Not so this time. One can see the logic of the Sai authorities… let people attack critics under cover of a pro-Sai blogsite, we can wash our hands of it but keep very quiet about it. This is all a reflection of the mendacity of many devotees when it comes to protecting their bogus claimant to the role of Creator of the Universe!
