Moreno tries to remain as anonymous as possible wherever he can; which helps to gives the (false) impression that he is in the company of more others like himself interested in defending Sathya Sai Baba and his Organization by attacking their critics. Apropos this, out of the vaunted 60 million Sai followers (claimed by The Sathya Sai Organization as a minimum number! Or, absurdly, 600 million nowadays), only a relatively microscopic number visit his webpages and blogs and only a few of his ‘libel-disciples’ (like his most close cooperator, the unspeakable Lisa de Witt, plus the webmaster of saibabaofindia.com and sometimes a few pro-Moreno abusive trolls) have openly joined his efforts. This shows what I have always held, that most foot soldiers in the Sathya Sai Organization are decent enough not to join him, even though they are deceived by Sathya Sai Baba and will not take the massed evidence that has been published against him into account.

Joe Moreno Very Shy of Personal Publicity Since he began his defamation campaign against hundreds of Sai critics (former devotees and in numerous cases also their families, their friends and associates, occasionally even their livelihoods) and not long after, he removed his photo from his website at vishvarupa.com. He had posted it along with an account about himself and his visit to the ashram – and the private interview room – of Sathya Sai Baba (and his ‘oiling’ by him). Later he removed this as too compromising – but it was too late as it is downloaded and in good keeping. Since then he has religiously concealed all other particulars about himself. He claims falsely that his address and phone number were always available simply because his name was known. However, there are hundreds of Gerald Morenos in America and it took some experts who helped out considerable work to discover and verify that he is the one in Las Cruces, New Mexico – plus address and phone number. Yet Moreno asserts – as usual through guesswork and wrongly – that it was Øjvind Kyrø, the Danish journalist and documentary maker, who discovered these facts by normal means. Not so at all! His address and phone number were first published on ExBaba.com, where my address and phone number have been on-line since before Moreno appeared. However, on a website he also claims the opposite! Is this inability to research or could it be his wilful deception? Let observers decide.

Joe Moreno is not a devotee but is the main defender of all Sathya Sai matters The major and unrepentant infringer of copyright – countless photos of critics and texts of mine – rails at length about ONE SINGLE photo which he for some reason is rather desperate to hide away.

Moreno soon became very shy of stating any true facts about himself, no doubt because he would cover up the extent of his massive campaign of character assassination, dirt-throwing, web stalking, libels etc. He has often avoided using his most known username (joe108) in favour of unidentifiable ones like Equalizer, sheilawaring, or – for most people less identifiable ones like visvarupa 108, SSS108 (on Wikipedia) GM, JM, GJM with or without the 108 suffix and so on All were gradually identified as being his. He has also used diverse IPs in his e-mails and comments, as has been documented on various occasions, though he tries to deny it, the proofs are there for any eventual further use. He denied he was equaliser until exposed definitively as such, and he denies that he posted on Netscape under the username sheilawaring – but he is exposed as having done that just after he had been banned under a previous pseudonym like JM108).

Having removed his personal account and any details about himself from his vishvarupa.com  website, Moreno still defends the convicted murderer and rapist Swami Premananda (double life sentence confirmed by Supreme Court Appeal) at vishvarupa.com, though he has removed former materials about that too! Moreno claims he has nothing to do with the Sathya Sai organization whatever, though he defends them at every turn of events.
