Sathya Sai Baba’s front man on the Internet

Hardly any need to point out what any Google search on Sathya Sai Baba shows, that the front man defending Sathya Sai Baba and his Organization on the Internet is Gerald Joe Moreno, whose many websites and blogs include hundreds of attack pages against critics.

Despite Moreno’s oxymoronic claim that the Sathya Sai Organization needs no defending, it has been defended by Dr. G. Venkarataman of Radio Sai and also massively by Moreno himself. This defense was done because of documented evidence and testimony on a large scale of its unaccountability, planned disinformation and deceptions of the public, covering up and ignoring crimes, including murder and sexual molestations of which all its leaders are aware. They have failed to exercise duty of care and ignored mandatory reporting.

Firstly, the former major US Sai Org. leader, Dr. John Hislop, demonstrated fully in the letters he wrote (See here) to numerous top Sai Organization officials at the time around 1981-2. Those letters have been attacked constantly and most tendentiously as being counterfeits by Joe Moreno, but this has been proved not to be so in a signed affidavit by Timothy Conway and by confirmation from the original recipient at the San Francisco Sathya Sai Centre of the copy scanned for the exposee.

Secondly, and not least, the current International Chairman of the Sathya Sai Organization. Dr. Michael Goldstein, the absence of any serious investigation of the many testimonies of sexual abuse or those involved when challenged by the BBC’s Eamon Hardy (now BBC’s Executive Producer for Current Affairs Commissioning) after having interviewed numerous of those around the globe who testify to sex abuses by Sathya Sai Baba.
